Good afternoon all. Almost 4pm at christmas day here, home from work. Slept 1 hour (i was so tired) and now 30 minutes of nothing then to my parents for christmas dinner.

Well, my medication has given me the side effect of bad joint pain. It wasn't too bad yesterday, but now it's spread to the other side of my body and gotten worse, so that's fun. Probably gonna be spending all day in bed today taking advil like candy. At least it waited until after christmas to get real bad? xD

OH. MY. WORD. I DID NOT REALIZE HOW MANY TREES I STUFFED UNTIL I CAME BACK TODAY TO A BILLION THANK-YOU'S... YES, AN EXAGERATION BUT NOT BY MUCH. AND THE FUNNY THING IS I HAVE A BUNCH OF GIFT CENTER PRESENTS TO OPEN AND I HAVEN'T EVEN OPENED MY TREE YET.

YESTERDAY WAS FUN. WE GOT UP LATE, OPENED PRESENTS, AND THEN HAD A CHRISTMAS MOVIE MARATHON. SINCE ALL MY KIDS ARE GROWN THERE WAS NO PRE-DAWN PRESENT GRAB OR FRENZIED TEARING AT GIFT WRAP.WE HAD HAM, CANDIED YAMS, GREEN BEAN CASSEROLE, AND APPLE PIE (TIRED OF PUMPKIN) FOR DINNER. THE HAM WAS FORK TENDER AND HAD AN AWESOME CINNAMON, HONEY, AND CLOVE GLAZE. WHY AM I TELLING YOU ALL ABOUT THIS? BECAUSE I'M PROCRASTINATING... THAT PILE OF PRESENTS AND THANK-YOUS ARE DAUNTING.

- I'M HAPPY YOU HAD A NICE CHRISTMAS. I HAD FUN POSTING YOUR TREE EVERYWHERE. WHAT AM I GOING TO DO NOW?

Well christmas is over and work is done for 3 whole days, doing nothing much. However i do have a nasty alergic reaction on my legs due of one of my rituals advent calender items. A body foam i used gave me a nasty rash and it itches like mad. Luckly the phamrmacy was open and got some ointment. Not using the product again. I did message them but as it's sunday no reaction. I do hope they give an reaction.

John Carter had an interesting production history. Plus it wasn't clearly advertised as a sci-fi movie.

I haven't read the books yet but know that the books have things that are now considered staples of sci-fi.

Jorah seems to want to share his eggs with Navi. But I can't allow that in case it makes both birds lay eggs. Navi went into his cage while he was out and was trying to put one of the eggs underneath her. It was adorable.

Went out with the in-laws for Christmas Eve. Went to his parents' for breakfast and then went to his aunt and uncle's for dinner. I'll need a few days to recover. Not sleeping well (due to bad cpap machine) plus was a busy day these past two days.

- WHEN THE MOVIE (JON CARTER) STARTED I HAD A WEIRD SENSE OF DEJA VU. AS THE MOVIE PROGRESSED I REALIZED THAT I'D READ IT BEFORE WHICH WAS WEIRD BECAUSE I DON'T HAVE ANY OF EDGAR RICE BOROUGHS WORK IN PRINT OR DIGITAL FORMATS. TURNS OUT THAT IT WAS FAMILIAR BECAUSE ROBERT HEINLINE SNATCHED THE BEGINNING OF JOHN CARTER AND INSERTED HIS OWN CHARACTERS INTO THE ACTION AS PART OF HIS LAZARUS LONG/METHUSELA'S CHILDREN SERIES. IT SOUNDS LIKE YOU HAD A GREAT HOLIDAY. YOU SHOULD CALL YOUR THERAPIST ABOUT THE CPAP. GET A WORKING MACHINE SO YOU CAN SLEEPWITHOUT ASPHYXIATING. THAT IS SO CUTE THAT NAVI WOULD DO THAT. ALTHOUGH YOU'RE RIGHT TO KEEP AN EYE ON THEM BECAUSE I DO NOT WANT TO KNOW WHAT WOULD HATCH FROM A BOILED EGG. WHEN CAN YOU START REMOVING THE EGGS?

I called the person about the machine. So should be getting the necessary parts to make sure I don't die. Though I think asleep me has gotten that taken care of. I woke up again with the mask off which means I took it off in my sleep.

The eggs can't hatch as they're not fertilized. I'm just worried that it'll get Navi the idea to lay her own eggs. Because males aren't needed to trigger females to lay egg. And one female laying eggs can trigger another female to start laying eggs.

- roflmao!!! what??? you don't want me yelling at everyone? omg, i posted a bunch of thank-yous with caps lock on. those poor people must think i'm terribly enthusiastic. hahahaha! yeah, i know they can't actually hatch but was thinking if it were a bird monster movie... i didn't know that one female could trigger the reaction in another. it can trigger even between two different species? i think you may be taking the mask off while asleep because the machine is broken and you couldn't breathe with it on. glad you're getting it fixed. :)

and i found out the answer regarding inventory limit. i had to dump everything in a gallery because my inventory was overfull and i couldn't get the melody gifts today.

- i think it's a good things the trees are gone.it provides me with a challenge. did you take pictures of the rash to show the offending business? you may not get a response until after the new year. the rash, hopefully will be gone by then but they'll want proof. did you try benadryl (diphenhydromine) on it?

There is bird birth control but it involves injections so is a last resort. There's even a way to basically neuter a bird but that involves surgery which can be deadly to birds so is also a last resort.

It would be an interesting murder mystery. Plus, as I'm married, the husband could be the red herring.

So got Forget Thyself up on Amazon. The book is the first book in Ravenhart's series. Though, as the book is released now and so I'm no longer keeping it a secret, she goes by Kafka throughout the majority of the series. I chose Ravenhart as my username as it sounded better as a username. The only ones that call her Ravenhart are her captors.

- congrats on publishing a new book! your productivity puts mine to shame. ever think of writing a lovecraftian horror? the lovely thing about lovecraft is that you can fit cthulu into just about every setting... like cpap murders or hard boiled egg monsters. oh, and the hubby will seem like a red herring until it's discovered that he's a devotee of cthulu and he killed in homage to his evil overlord. (i've read all of lovecraft - my favorites were the stories that involved innsmouth.) :Di'll keep my fingers crossed that no more eggs show up regardless of who produces them.

- i'm glad you took those measures. once you're able to contact them it'll lend credence to your claim. i hope it's getting better? stinks to have to deal with that on your 3 days off.

Cthulhu is honestly one of the lesser creatures in the Cthulhu mythos. Plus a Lovecraftian/Cosmic Horror doesn't need to involve Cthulhu or one of the other 'monsters'. The Endless (2017) and The Void (2016) are great cosmic horror movies.

I do like the sub-genre so I'm not ruling anything out for future projects.

I'm honestly not that productive. The books I've published are all less than 100 pages. Usually I'm working on so many things that I seem productive XD

no word yet, i did get an email telling me that they where very busy and they will come back to me. Bettering next year lol

I had a lovely relaxing 3 days off. Today a shift from 2pm till 10:30pm. But leavinng at 9:45am to go and get my booster shot at 10pm. I asked my co-workers if i could go and they said yes.

oh sweetie what a horrible counsler. If i was you i would confront him about this and tell him you are not pleased with this. And if you don't feel good anymore there maybe switch? -hugs-

I hope everyone had nice holidays! I'm finally back online after some days with my family and a wedding yesterday.

I'm getting my booster shot on January 5th. I have to go to Amsterdam for it and take my son with me to the appointment so it's not ideal, but the other options were all two weeks later.
