Is school closed due to holidays or the pandemic???

so sweet of you to help your friend get good gifts this year. The school is closed early this year because of the pandemic. Normally we'd have a two week Christmas holiday, but this year it's three weeks and maybe longer, depending on the latest covid stats.

I managed to write a very polite email to that company. I said that it was a very positive interview process but that my heart wasn't in it enough to step in for the long run. I hope I haven't offended anyone. It's good that your library is so helpful with your disabilities.

The library in Almere is often not that busy. It got a bit more busy during the lockdown because parents were taking their kids more often. But last sunday the counter at the door said there were 15 people in he whole building, and we only saw one other family from a distance, so I don't think we were at risk.

the schools are closed due the pandamic. They would close i think tomorrow (not in school anymore) but due of the pandamic they had to close last saturday after we had a press con. from our prime minister. And my condolences to the loss of your friend.

2 more days until christmas! I have only today off and doing nothing, did everything i needed to do yesterday afernoon and today i am a couch potato!

I just finished up the last things at work. Now I have two weeks off :D I still need to wrap the presents so I'll do that tonight.

I was happy this summer when things were a bit more normal and I could meet some friends. But now it feels like a huge step back. I'm hoping to get a booster shot in a few months, but our government has been slow to start things. People are actually crossing the borders to get vaccinated

- my condolences on the loss of your mother. covid is horrid. we learned the hard way as my youngest daughter got it last christmas. she goes to uni in texas so we couldn't even be there. all of us (7) are completely vaccinated but she got it anyways. thankfully she pulled through but has long term complications. i'm just glad she's alive.

Mallory was such a lovely person and I can't believe she's gone. It was so sudden and she was only 34. The thread for her is ">here if anyone wishes know her better or leave a message.

Jorah is very sleepy today but has moved around. Yesterday he showed no interest in one egg and had it put near the front of the cage. Now he has lost interest in a second egg and has pushed that one near the first one.

I think that's a sign he'll be back to normal soon :)

I haven't read that author yet. One series that is catching my interest is The Three-Body Problem. It's sci-fi and seems to be unique.

me neither until i saw the movie, was on tv i think this week or last week on rtl8. I want vacation to... not until march 2022.

it was a woman in the movie. Was about a double booked cabin for the holidays and she got stuck with a man, kid and mom. She was a traveler who makes photo's for website, etc. Was a nice movie. I don't mind stranger s giving my items, you may put my tree everywhere lol.

I got the email this afternoon in my lunch break. Made an appoinment for next week in my hometown at 10pm, i have to work till 10:30pm but asked my co-worker if i could leave earlier to get it, she was ok with that. It was that or in 2 other places far away (sheesh) or wait for a next call (no way).

It's a book series by Liu Cixin. It seems that Netflix will be adaptating it :)
