Oh thank you. 'Well subeta is slow and can't change maybe when i et home from work.
I keep getting that Jolin each time i visit the bonfire, and i haven't been much there yet
I've read both the stormlight archives and the mistborn trilogy from Brandon Sanderson. I think I preferred the Stormlight Archives because I loved Shallan and Kaladin. I haven't read any Stephen Ericsson books yet, but I'll put them on my list. lately I've been reading a lot of fantasy, but I also have periods in which I read historical fiction or just literature in general.
Did you have a good day at work? I took the day off today because my son's school had a " study day", so he was off as well. We went to the Burgers Zoo in Arnhem. It was very quiet as it was just a regular monday.
- here's hoping the abyss never looks back into us! i finally dumped all my fantine stuff into a gallery and will be using the item directory to get the items i'm missing. honestly clicking on all those things one at a time is mind-numbingly boring.
- you're welcome. i'd love to give that jolen a smack or two. maybe then he'll give back all he's stolen.
- i like shalon too. she always makes me giggle. have you read bernard cornwell? he's got a good viking series plus his richard sharpe series is really good too. as for literature, stay away from dostoievski (i think i spelled that right) as he is a bit mental to read. i do suggest tolstoy though . i love war and peace. people joke about it being soooo long but it's a really good story.
The jollin stops stealing stuff once he becomes a battle challenger.
I remember War and Peace because Charlie Brown read it for an essay. 😆
I hope everyone's Fireside is going okay!

it was busy! Hardly had time to sit and boy was i tried and sore when i was home. Hope today will be quieter.
Oh i love that zoo been there once! Hope you to had a nice time.
lol he keeps stealing stuff, nasty jolin! Just saw the news he is now a challenger. Hope it will stop now.
And i hope more reign items will pop up faster, hardly found any.
I read Anna Karenina when I was in my early twenties, but I didn't read War and Peace yet. I didn't know Bernard Cornwell but his wikipedia page seems interesting, so I might give his books a try. Although my reading pace has slowed down a lot these days. When I was still in school and university I had so much more time to read.
I finished New Spring yesterday. The ending was a bit sudden. I wouldn't have minded if the story went on a bit longer because it felt very open ended, but I guess that's what the rest of the series is for. I really hope I get to meet all the main characters again.
I hope your day will be better today! I loved the Zoo as well. it was nice that it wasn't so busy. I'm not sure if I would have liked it if it was completely crowded.
I have found a few red reign items, but I will never get a full collection of anything. I try to prioritise getting as many wearables as possible. I don't really care about beanbags or plushies, since I'll never get a full collection of those anyways.
i had a half day so was a bit better, no off till saturday. And it's nice to visit a place and it's not busy and you can see everything in peace
What kind of place do you work at? Is it an elderly home?
yes an elderly home with all kind sof elderly. And i am also in the works council (ondernemings raad).
do you like being in the work council? It sounds like a good thing, you can try to make stuff better for you and your colleagues. I work at NS and that organisation is so big that I don't know the people on the work council.
I just joined this year so still learning. We have a big company to but the council tries to update workers when we can and when we have a meeting (vergadering) we always publish it. And on notice boards there is a flyer who is in it. And we are now busy planning a little christmas gift for everyone. So we are visible and active and that helps.
Got an HA for Fireside. Trying to use my HA, for the moment, to try and flesh out some of Ravenhart's character.
Honestly Thanksgiving snuck up on me and my husband. I didn't realize until Monday that Thanksgiving was this week XD
- (in charlie brown's mother's voice) wa waa wa waawa wa waawawa...rofl
- oh, i bet your ha looks awesome!
- i'm getting few floating items. on the first day i took all my spare red rreign stuff out of my gallery and tossed it in the bonfire. i didn't seem to get much back. 3 items were stolen. a bunch got incinerated (they were wreathed so i expected it) but when i got items for throwing the red rreign stuff in hardly any of it seemed new. so now i'm saving everything up and will dump it in on the last day and see what happens. im also using the item directory to hopefully get any items i miss. it seems like a lot of old fireside stuff is being used this year, that there is hardly anything new. i did read in the news announcement comments that drop rates are going to be adjusted. no idea if it's been done yet, though.
- i read anna karenina after war and peace and i didn't like it as much. i had no sympathy /empathy for anna karenina but loved the character of lev. (i think the guy was named lev - the farmer whose country life balanced anna's city life). you will meet a lot of those same characters when you move on from new hope to the first book in the series. :)
went out to eat today for the first time in 2 1/2 years. it was quite the experience. we went to outback steakhouse and i'm stuffed. i got a piece of their carrot cake. oh, i wish i could find their recipe because it's soooooooo good.
I think anna karenina got a movie...which got nominated for a movie award.
As for Fireside, at least stuff has decreased in price enough so you can just buy them. Funny thing, once prices dropped I started getting the items I had wishlisted.
How is the Black Friday sale going for you?
[tot=PiplupMagby34]
Thanks :)
Going out to eat after a long time is a great feeling. There's probably somewhere online you can find the recipe. The stuffed potatoes at Longhorn provided inspiration for my husband to improve his own he makes at home.
Happy thanksgiving for those who celebrate (not me).
you look great.
i got a few floating items, wish they would come more often. It's my 1st fireside so no old items to trow in. But i like getting the older stuff as i don't have them.
ph prices dropped. -checks it out- We have loads of black friday deals here in the Netherlands. But nothing i want.
Hmm, my first few black fridays I wasn't interested in much either. I mostly remember just getting angelic potions back then.
Last year and this year were the first times I got a variety of items.
I don't have much CSC left but there are still some items I'm interested in. I need to check user prices to see if I can easily buy them outside of the sale.
Oh, and happy thanksgiving!

wel i do like a 2 Boutique lines. But not sure what to get: Zoe Wintermist or Viv Snow Day. And saving to get a GA.
Now that I think of it I don't remember a whole lot about Anna Karenina. I remember reading it more than the story, which is probably not a good thing. But I love period pieces so I'll check out the movie for sure!
There are many carrot cake recipes online and they're not that hard to make yourself. You should definitely try it.
Sounds like your are doing a good thing for all your colleagues. I haven't been seeing any good black friday deals of stuff I want either. I've gotten the last Sinterklaas stuff this morning (chocolate letters) but I do still need a few christmas presents. I doubt they'll be discounted, but I'll check again tomorrow. I spent so much on Sinterklaas presents that I don't even want to spend a lot of money anymore this month.
