I ended up accidentally getting involved in the black friday crowd once. I went to Walmart on Thursday night because I wanted a double boiler to make pumpkin pudding with, and I didn't realize that Walmart starts their black friday event on Thursday...so I ended up in this long ass line with people with carts full of stuff and me with just my little pot. Thankfully, I didn't have to wait too long. One of the employees noticed I only had a pot and let me go ahead of everyone.

Me and Brian stayed with my Mom one year for Thanksgiving and wanted to get one item on Thursday night at a Target. And...that was hell O.O'

There was even a special line out front just for those who were going for Black Friday.

Think we might have also ended up getting a cute plushie because we don't always have the best self-control...

i am still missing stuff, but still have 2 days. I think melody will start december first, did not heard it won't.

well i do, done with covid and all the restrictions, riots and work load with covid patients and co-workers. BUT! I love the december month that may stay as long as it wants.

i am ready for this year to be over. it wasn't as bad of a dumpster fire as 2020 was but i'm glad to see it go. i'm done with covid and the political circus that never fails to amaze. and now we have another covid varient that's supposed to be worse than delta. at least it has a funny name, right out of futurama and the aliens that kept trying to take over earth, lrrr from omicronpersei 8... i know they're going by greek letters but that was too good. rofl

I'm glad to hear that your father is home again. That must have been rally scary.

I want this year to be over as well. I'm so done with everything.

We just learnt my uncle has covid. He lives in a care facility and all but one resident got infected. He's now in bed with a fever. He was one of the first people to be vaccinated last year and was supposed to get his booster shot today, but now he can't obviously. I feel our government is way too slow with the booster shots.

i think we are all done with this year and covid. But i just love the december montg! Yay! just 1 more night sleep!

- when i heard the name of it i busted out laughing. funniest thing is that lrrr wanted to conquer earth and now a tiny mutated virus is going to do it instead.

- i'm sorry to hear about your uncle. it's very frustrating seeing things unfold and being helpless to stop them. i feel that way regarding the virus because it seems that capitalism is more important than people's lives so they aren't doing anything except hope very hard that the large number of unvaccinated finally get vaccinated. fat chance. they'll realize they handled it all wrong when there's no one left alive to buy their stuff and fuel capitalism . ugh. sorry. rant over.

- i understand. i'm like that about october. it finally starts to cool off, the leaves change, the air smells nice, and there's halloween. :D

Almost 11 pm here and not tired and have to get up at 7:30am. With the works council we will be making a small gift for all employees for Christmas tomorrow.

As it’s December 1st tomorrow I finally can open day one of all my advent calendars! Already got day one together so it’s easy to open and not search first, lol!

- you're like a kid! so excited and happy for the season. :Dyou know if we had 2 santasthen december would be my favorite month, too. but we suffer from a lack of santas so we have to find joy elsewhere. hence october and halloween. lol i hope you get some sleep. it sounds like a fun day ahead of you tomorrow. you'll have to let us knowwhat surprises you get in your advent calendar. :)

I've been okay. Brian thought he had lost my wedding ring tonight so that was a fun hour of searching XD

Brian and I just visited his parents. The food was good. Due to my pork allergy I couldn't eat the ham which is delicious.

Haven't always had a pork allergy.

Now have to change my HA to a more wintery theme XD

- happy december. you are like a kid and it's refreshing. i didn't know there were so many different types of advent calendars. when my kids were little their grandma used to send them advent calendars with the candy in them. after she passed away we tried to find them ourselves to continue the tradition but no stores around us had them. ended up ordering them online and all they had were chocolate filled ones. :D

i'm off to have hubby change my ha to winter outfit and then get my son to set up my luminaire tree. yipee!

Not only am I allergic to pork, I now have bad acid reflux so can't drink coffee. Before you couldn't even say "hi" to me before I had my morning cup XD
