Are y'all getting interstitial video ads on here between page loads (even if you're gold)? I'm getting them, and they'll interfere with our cron for updating prices.

I'm on firefox and I'm not getting them. Not sure if that's FF itself, most of the people on this Ads popping up on site seem to be Chrome or mobile, or my adblocker addon.

LOL could also be because I simply haven't been onsite much because the lag and 502s are making everything impossible.

If I were you I would hold off on making any changes/workarounds for the cron until there's some staff response on the above thread. I don't necessarily expect it to get fixed anytime soon (based on how long it took to fix the friend page and the fact the subscription page is still messed up) but at least to find out if its on purpose or a glitch.

I usually access from Firefox on both my laptop and my mobile, so I haven't seen them. If I do I'll let you know!

[edit] I did notice that for some reason the my avatar picture portion of SL doesn't work anymore. It no longer loads my HA at all, it's just a blank square.

: Bleah. Subeta is now rejecting avatar requests from un-logged-in users; SubetaLodge doesn't log in to request an avatar. This is something Georgie and I discussed in the past -- we have staff log in when adding items/CWs/etc., but we didn't want to take on the responsibility of having regular users log in through SubetaLodge, so that no one can blame us when their account on Subeta gets hacked.

We can have people upload their avatar as a workaround, but it'll be a few extra steps. I'll work on this over the weekend.

It's not a big rush to fix - I don't know how many people beyond me change them with any frequency honestly haha. But thanks for looking into it :)

ugh...someone just commented me that they're getting a 500 server error when they try to mass add wardrobe. I tried it and got the same error - I set it as: all layers, newest items, then click the first page. It goes straight into the error, doesn't even pause to think about it.

: sigh I really wish they'd stop screwing with the wardrobe. I think I've had to recode mass-adding wardrobe from scratch three or four times already.

: Wardrobe mass-add should be working again, but let me know if anyone sees any glitches -- we've had a couple of items with weird punctuation in their names come through lately. (The instructions have changed just slightly -- Subeta's old pages told users the total number of pages so that they'd know when they could quit, but the new wardrobe tells users the total number of items instead, and they'll have to compute the number of pages themselves.)

: I haven't forgotten about the avatar issue. The thing that's slowing me down is setting up (and testing!) the permissions to let users upload their own avatars from the site without letting them accidentally overwrite the other images (hexes, minions, etc) that we store on the site. I think I'll have a solution soon.

One thing I noticed, it no longer gives the option to do it by newest item added to the wardrobe, though it did do it in that order since I only had to do page 1 to update properly. When I did page 2, it said everything was already in there.

: Yup. That option is now enabled by default. It's possible to override that option, but in order to get this out quickly, I didn't code for that (I doubt many people would want to do that anyway.)

LOL yeah, I've never used anything else, not even when clearing it and doing it from scratch. I wish all collections could be sorted by date added.

: Well, Subeta's tipped their hand. We now know that they can sort collections by date added, because that's the default option for the wardrobe now, so they could add it as an option to all the other collection pages, but I'm not holding my breath.

not holding mine either. Its been asked for many times in reference to all collections as a whole and for individual ones too.

- I've updated the new item revamps and have two things.

1. The "Horseshoes" (regular variety) just will not update when I view them. All of the information on the edit page is correct, but it still shows the old information. What's strange though is that if I search "Horseshoes", the item image is the new one. (This also could be my computer acting like a turd.)

2. With only one truly new item, I wasn't sure if it was worth it to make a news post or if this is something we should just tack on to another news post in the future when there's something more substantial. Thoughts?

I think its the cache not updating for you, when I checked, the horseshoes (no other descriptor) looks updated just fine.

I don't see a need for a news post. I'll add it to the newly wearable page and that should be fine :).

Alright, another weird thing.

I added the two CWs that were missing from the last round of additions and one of them just will not add.

It looks like it's added and gives me a clickable name on the cw add page (and on the add items page where I tried it again) but when I click it, it goes to a blank page and just....doesn't seem to exist.

I don't know how to work around it but I think it's because it has a special character in the item description maybe? It has the word bo with the o that has the line above it as the last word, and that's the only thing I can think of that is causing it to refuse to add.
