Just tested on Firefox and both links work to redirect me to SL after reading the notice. I hope folks pay attention and fix their bookmarks.

There are several Scribble Glacier species Sticker that had their names changed to Glacier Scribble species Sticker. These are in Melody's cottage 2020 and now those links go to the wrong place. I looked for that page in the pecio Admin section to fix them, but could not find it.

LOL if people are like me (a lazy procrastinator), they aren't going to change it until after it no longer works at all. The benefit to blasting it all over the place is that once that happens, some little niggling memory will pop up in our minds when the old address no longer works, and we'll be able to ask for the new address then.

They're not in pecio any longer. Georgie asked me a few years ago to put them in the regular database (so that it'd be easier for people to update). It just never occurred to me that we'd need to go back and edit previous years releases.

Any staff member can do that now. Just go to the Melody's Cottage page, and re-enter the data for any date that needs to be corrected.

[edit] I've run up against a weird issue. Someone made an item with this name (quotes and all):

Trying to click on the item name from the item add page, it cuts off everything starting with the first " mark and returns no results. When I manually typed the rest of the name into the address box, it worked and added the space info like normal:

But if I try to click to search shops I get this response from subeta:

It's looking for that but Subeta's search results also don't return. I am definitely filing a ticket about it for Subeta but idk if we have a way to bypass the funky issue on our end in the meantime. If not no worries, I'm hoping they'll drop the quotes and we can just update the name. It works clicking on it from the "newest items" list at least on our end so maybe that'll solve it.

It looks like the item itself added correctly -- but one of the links to the item doesn't work? I'm not seeing which one -- can you clue me in as to which link you're talking about?

Subeta's own shop search is misbehaving for this item (it shows the shop results, but not the item image) and I don't know of anything we can do on our end to mitigate that.

It was only from the page where I added the cws on our end but everywhere else it seemed to load. Upside is that my ticket got a quick reply and it definitely shouldn't have gone through with those in there and I've fixed the item name to match the new one on Subeta now. Jessi says that should hopefully not happen again, she just didn't catch they were in the name.

Another one from email. The item [item2=Cornucopia] is listed as food and 'other', but it doesn't seem to have a second use. Did it use to do something else?

I have most of the Forj Tempered items. I'm going to need to boost some pets to test the strength vs. tier issue (I've been training all my pets evenly so pets in the same tier all have similar strengths). I need to make the Forj Tempered Hauberk, which I've been planning on doing anyway, just haven't gotten around to it yet. Still going to take a couple of days to test it out. I can't even start today because its a limited day for me.

For the , I'm guessing, but I strongly suspect that it was listed as "other" because it had no use at all originally. Then someone mentioned it on the "Make this food" suggestion board and it subsequently got turned into food. Probably the "other" designation should have been removed when it was updated.

The "other" category has always been used for items that simply don't do anything - subreeze, furniture, toothbrushes, etc. These days new items are rarely other.

The blob and yaherra are both still listed on the experiment pets page. Should they be since they aren't experiments anymore? What do you think?

Did all the Experiment pets get converted to Blobs and Yaherras, or is it still possible to have, say, an Experiment as a pet?

I don't know. My impression is that they were all converted, but I can't be certain.

I don't mind creating a section for defunct pet species -- where we could keep the Experiment and along with the Turdle, the Aerie, and the Slushii. (And any other ones I've forgotten about.)
