When changing pages on the site, ads just started appearing. For this one the image didn't load; I was clicking a training notification from the shoutbox. The one I got before this had the shark from Finding Nemo in the picture but I closed it before I had the chance to really see what it was. What's causing these to suddenly start appearing? I haven't ever seen ads like this on Subeta that I can remember.

I just got a Google video ad a second ago (vignette).

yeah i had some huge ads on my phone that started coming up in the middle of the screen

I assumed I was just clicking on the top/bottom banner by accident while questing, but appearently not? I don’t mind the ads on top and on the bottom or wherever these are necessary, but pop-up ads? These are the worst kind of ads..

Yes I too have come to complain about this. Also once you close it you can't leave an alert. I've only noticed on Coda Caves. :P

EDIT: Got another one on a quest page. As a paid, with real money, GA holder I hope this is just some anomaly.

Had this happen to me twice today too.. I hope this isn't here to stay, especially not for people with a paid subscription/GA (but these specific kind of ads are obnoxious for everyone)

I got one, also: a large video ad for the Switch, and like most of the rest, I have a GA, too.

Pop ups for me too. Had them on both mobile and desktop. I also have a subscription.

I’ve gotten one this morning also while using my iPad. It was stubborn too. Pressed the “x” to close it several times before anything happened. I also have a GA and shouldn’t be seeing ads.

Just got one on my phone for Jiffy Lube. And it’s rather obnoxious. With all the money people use here this shouldn’t be a thing.

I keep getting them both on mobile and my computer. why am I paying an active subscription and seeing ads? what is going on with the site lately man :/ this is so frustrating and disappointing. with the 502 errors, the friend/block feature being broken for a month with no acknowledgement from staff, the green avatar border QAT fiasco (and being expected to look through news comments for important information), the ridiculous logging in/out multiple times a day situation, issues with the wardrobe, can’t change my signature, advertising forums being bugged out since January, etc, and now pop up ads for paying subscribers? I think I need to cancel my subscription and take a hiatus until things smooth over. It’s just not worth paying for this kind of experience at this point.

Getting them both on Chrome mobile and PC I imagine something went weird with all the new site integration, or maybe the site host has introduced more ads Either way, I doubt these are here to stay, especially for GA users

Getting this on chrome mobile. I have a subscription and also have an ad blocker coding in place too and this is bypassing both.

Occurred when I clicked the alert for Coda Caves and when I clicked my bookmarker for Token Shop.

Same thing. Happened on mobile chrome. I have a gold account so no ads. Happened when I clicked the commerce tab.

these popups are so invase, like actually old school annoying… not at all what I’m used to on this site? please don’t let this be an actual feature 😕
