Unfinished business from the old thread (please add to this list if I missed anything):

1. It should now be possible to add clothing overlays separately from adding the items. Waiting on to test this.

2. We're adding face tags to CW's. I've started from the high-numbered items, working down and stopped at Abyss Eye Ichor (). I think is working from the low-numbered items forward.

3. I'm in the middle of changing all of the internal links on the site from 'subetalodge.org' to 'subetalodge.us' (for example, I did the Survival overlays and the CMS pages over the weekend); should be done with this by next weekend. For two months (May and June) both URLs will work, but I'll have to aggressively remind people to change their bookmarks.

We should get a new round of them for her to test tomorrow if she's on and able to add.

help! The news for Cinthia's drops is totally messed up. I couldn't do a regular items code because of the commas in the book title. So I made a table instead. Which worked fine for the forum itself, but when converted to the "front page" news its messed up and I have no idea what to do to fix it.

: Ack. How rude of them to put a comma in an item name!

From now on, you can use the tag "[comma]" to indicate where a comma should be in the item name itself.

So: [items]Gifted Prodigies Tool, Quantum Physics[comma] Rabbits[comma] and Robots: A Simplified Theory[/items] will do what we want it to do. I've fixed your post.

Thank you! It feels so strange that this has never come up before. There have been a few items over the years with commas in the name, but I think they were either all before my time or stuff that didn't have to be added to the news post (like Libertine lounge items).

: This is the first time I remember encountering one. If it had ever come up before, adjusting the [items] code for it is a pretty easy fix that I would have probably done then. (It's a little strange to add an extra code just for a comma, but hey, we do what we have to do!)

Quick and easy fixes are the best :D. LOL now I'm worried if it ever comes up again, I'll have forgotten how to deal with it!

, , - I'm so sorry for not being around to add CWs and add some face tags. Work took over the weekend and then the past several days. I've been added to several surprise interview committees this week, so that's been taking up quite a bit of time in addition to creating a new schedule for the school for the upcoming school year. Ugh. This Sunday should be a lot better!

Updating some face tags this morning for CWs.

What, if anything would you categorize these as?

I've updated face tags for items, starting with newest and working backwards. I stopped with the Cloudy Black Vision Tarot Card.

For the I'd say Cheek. For the I'd call it an accessory since it's not really an eye.

- Nothing? - Just mask? Or mask and accessory? - Nothing? - Just accessory? Or accessory, nose, and cheek? - Full face? Accessory? - Just full face? Or full face, eyes, nose, and mouth?

I think we can add tags? Maybe we need a forehead or brow tag? If you don't have the link to add new tags, let me know and I'll add one.

For this item in particular, , for placement it should be eyebrow. But its not an eyebrow, so either make a new tag or use eyebrow anyway.

I don't know how to add tags but I'm in favor of adding brow/forehead tags. And maybe a face markings tag for all the odd stuff like the moon one or the lint roller.

I don't know if it would be best to split the others also (more work, I know) and have ones that are specifically for facial features (actual eyes/noses/lips) vs facial accessories/makeup that go over those areas and aren't replacements. It might be handy to filter specifically for only facial feature noses/eyes/lips since Subeta still doesn't do this and it's hard to find them in everything else.

My internet at home has been down since 3:30am my time so I can't check on how to add tags etc right now though.

I can add tags so I am going to add Brow and Forehead for now, but I think it's still worth discussing whether we add facial features specifically.

- I'm getting a super weird error trying to add items to SubetaLodge right now (on the old subetalodge.org page and the new subetalodge.us page)

I also tried to add them using view source from my Wishlist and this is what it says (it did not add the items):

I have not changed my password or anything and I did use the login feature and I don't have a pin set up for login.

I'm in two minds about splitting features that are actual eyes vs eye makeup vs other things in the eye area. First, less search results could make it easier to find what you're looking for. On the other hand how to decide which tag to use? I find this problem in the wardrobe all the time! Do I search foreground/background/ground? Some times I want more results, other times less results.

Say I'm looking for an eye sparkle - where would I search? Eye, accessory? or

I often like to reverse the question to find out the answer.

I think if we made it very specific as in "Facial Feature: Eye" it should clear up that question of whether to look in eye vs accessory vs facial feature eye. I'd check eye or accessory rather than facial feature specifically.

That's a problem on Subeta's end. We tried to get the information we needed to add the item (description, item image, etc.), and Subeta didn't give it to us.

What's happening is that it's answering -- but it's answering with that Cloudflare "please wait 5 seconds" page and not what we need. That's not something I can fix on our end. I may have to bug Bug and see if there's something they can do.
