name changes, if you ever need the info, can be found fairly easily. The item directory now includes a description search. I'm not sure if you can search for a phrase, or just a word, but its still helpful. For Darki, for example, I searched with churches (description), minion (item use) and rarity. There was only 1 result, so that was easy. For the Spazz item, I searched the list of mazes and mahar trading cards, there are only a few and it was easy to pick out the changed one.

That is helpful. I missed paying attention to that info so I definitely wouldn't have been helpful even with that knowledge this time around haha. But it's very nice to know we don't have to sweat that stuff anymore.

Also I fixed the Native American Plushie because I was adding it to my checklist and saw the chron hadn't gotten there yet but I was on it so I did it for now.

(What happened: I recently upgraded the server from MySQL 7 to MySQL 8, and the '@' function was something that I didn't catch had broken because of the upgrade. While I'm mentioning it now -- MySQL 8 will allow database searches to run faster than they currently do, but we'll have to rebuild the item database to take advantage of that speed, and that will require about six hours of downtime. There's no way I'd take the site down during Vesnali, but maybe later in the summer, we can plan for a little offline time.)

Ah, that is definitely above my programming knowledge but I'm glad you were able to pinpoint the issue and fix it. And I think downtime is definitely worth it if it helps improve the site :)

Following up on this -- one of the things that the script doesn't check for is if an item name shows up in the item notes of a different item (for example, it's part of a Genetech combination or something like that). If an item name gets changed -- whether we do it manually or the script does it -- we may have to update some item notes as well.

I'll try to update the cron script to start checking for this, but it may be a few days. Monday and Tuesday are both pretty intense for me this week.

ah...items notes. Necessary, useful, extremely important, and nearly impossible to keep track when things change and to keep consistent.

Oh yeah - I always forget about those. Also if I miss something that gets a fully new name I don't ever know what the new vs old is lmao. I'll try to keep an eye for anything that is wonky though and fix when I see and can :)

The "Raffle Ticket" has finally been changed to "Forum Ticket." On SubetaLodge, we still have Raffle Ticket as the name of the currency for the Forum Shop. Can that be changed easily?

Speaking of changes: Our last day that 'subetalodge.org' will work is August 5.

All of the references to .org in the code have been updated, but there are still references in the database (item notes and custom profile rotations, mostly). I can automate changing these, but I'm going to wait until the weekend so that in case something goes wrong, I'll have time to restore the backup database.
