I added one of the gloves to check and it worked fine for me, so I'm not sure what to suggest.

[edit] Also having a problem with adding the gloves because it wants to change 8) into a smiley face, as in Discarded Sheer Glove (Base 8). Since we've added base 8 items before I'm sure there's already a solution, but I don't know how to find it.

Here's what happened, though: We didn't have a problem with the base 8 gloves before, because we used to treat any text inside the [items]...[/items] tags as just plain text, so they wouldn't convert to smilies.

Then Subeta released that item with a comma in its name, and in order to be able to post that item, I added a [comma] tag that we could use, but that meant that we had to start parsing commands inside the [items]...[/items] tags, and that's when eight-parenthesis started changing into smilies.

So, what I've done is deleted eight-parenthesis from the list of known smilies. Unfortunately, that deletes it everywhere in the forums, not just news posts -- but the forums are not widely used these days, and so I don't think any of the members will complain that it's gone.

(This would never have happened if Subeta hadn't put a comma in an item name!)

LOL back to those darned comma issues!

Thanks for the fix. Sounds like a simple solution that shouldn't have much, if any impact.

Hey y'all, sorry I haven't been around much to help. Between my job and other obligations and the freelance day I picked up this weekend for another company similar to mine I've just had no time or energy to be at a computer (I'm at one all day at work too). It hasn't helped that the weather is pinging back and forth between hot and cold and giving me extra pain and migraines. I'm hoping things will mellow some by the end of the week and I can return to being more able to help keep everything up.

Thank you to everyone who's been picking up my slack and I'm so sorry I basically went MIA without notice. I did not expect.my.week to be like this.

Just catching up and trying to go through the new stuff to add to wishlist and I noticed something odd. For some reason an item is duplicated in our system on SL:

Uneven Loaf of Cat

It's showing the SL item ID as 235332 but the actual ID is 235371 (for us and Subeta both) and is showing twice in our database:

It is correctly between Triumphant Monarch Crown and Hostile Extraterrestrial Companion Storage Pod on this page but it also appears at the top of the next page going backwards: here. I'm not sure how it got duplicated or how the item ID ended up so wonky on it nor am I sure if there's a way to correct that.

I found a second one: Reflective Fairy Wing Cookie

It's showing in SL as item 235209 but it's actually 235235 and I just had to add both the CI and overlay images to it (I had to do so for the one above as well). It's showing up in correct order here between Victorious Monarch Crown and Sealed Seaswept Swords of the Samurai but it's also showing up incorrectly here between Gauntlet of the Predatory Alien Companion and Mature Ninja Scroll.

It has to be something on Subeta's end because I cannot imagine our system somehow grabbing the same item twice and putting it in a weird random order.

: Oh, that's strange. I'm wondering if they were released -- and then temporary pulled and re-released because of an artwork issue or something.

Here's a complete list of items in the database twice -- they're all custom wearables, so I'm guessing that the issue is with the CW release process.

Something is definitely happening oddly behind the scenes. I mentioned to Jessi that there's been odd gaps where like...nothing is added into an ID slot and had asked if that was denials maybe and it was holding their spot for when they were resubmitted and then approved and she said no and also that she didn't know it was leaving gaps. So I wonder even more now what's happening with them.

That is quite a few more than I noticed too :(

I'm going through and updating the files on those (it fixes both when it happens, so they're tied in our system at least where it's like...these are the same) so I'll give you the correct item IDS:

This item's in the Item Directory -- with two S's on "Overalls", the rarity set to 300, and no valid image.

Huh...that is so weird. It has to be something with the way the system was accepting things for sure. It clearly was making weird as heck errors.

Just giving y'all a heads-up -- my mom's health took a turn for the worse a few days ago and she's in the hospital. The news right now has been mostly good -- she might come up Thursday or Friday -- but if she doesn't, I'll drive down there and stay until she is discharged.
