I went to Costa Rica a few years ago and it was absolutely beautiful. I swam next to a waterfall, kayaked in a volcanic lake, ziplined through the rainforest canopy... and saw sloths and monkeys and all kinds of animals in their natural environments, all with my closest friends. What I wouldn't give to re-live that experience! On a completely different note, I love studying outdoors in my favorite little courtyard on my college campus in the fall. It's so peaceful to sit there with a warm cup of coffee and do my reading for class.
When I was very young, I used to walk in the woods with my brother, near my grandmother's house. We would wander for hours there, looking at the abandoned apple orchard, the fallen trees, the beautiful scenery that seemed like it was straight out of a fairy tale. It was a massive woodland, somehow, despite the fact that houses were being built all around it. I don't know how it managed to stretch on for so long. We found porcupine quills in there, and hidden places, and I could've sworn we saw faeries once, but maybe that was just a child's imagination. I miss that place. I hope it remained unchanged.
We camped at the Badlands National Park and there was absolutely no light pollution. Most amazing thing ever!!!

I'd love to go to Yellowstone National Park for a month during the summer. I enjoy observing wildlife and bug hunting, and it'd be a nice change of pace to explore the wilderness on the other side of the country.

ALL THE PLACES. I really want to travel, especially overseas. I was lucky enough to go to Israel a few years ago. There's this big hill called Masada there -- it's gorgeous, and you can actually see ruins of the Roman siege camps from...something like 2000 years ago. There's also ruins of the fort atop the hill. It was a difficult climb, especially for overweight, out of shape me, but I made it -- and it was totally worth it, too.
The way some people spell makes me wonder about their pronunciation. My CW shop, and my ping group
I went camping and hiking in Yosemite last month, and it was probably one of my favorite trips recently!

I lovelovelove being outdoors and try to get out at least once a month, if not more frequently. I live in a rural area so often I will just walk on the county roads alongside farmland just to get my dose of the outdoors. :D
Thank you! Yeah, it was a pretty great experience without the coffee and dessert. I was just pretty proud of myself for making it back to the docks in time and beating the rest of the group there despite getting lost. I would definitely recommend biking the islands if you ever get a chance to go!
My favorites were in Australia, climbing the Sydney Harbor Bridge and exploring the rain forest.
Scuba diving is my thing, love being underwater. Warm waters or cold. Wolf eels and seals or manta rays and moray eels :D
I really, really, really want to go to the Grand Canyon. It's on my list of things to do in the next 5 years. I would also love to travel around the country in a camper or RV.
During my honeymoon we waded and swam in the rock pools on the north side of Tenerife. That was really cool. I'd definitely like to do more tide pool exploration. Or biking trails. I miss having a bike.

I want to be healthier so I can travel the world. I'd love to be able to hike in Europe so I can get some beautiful photos.
