I biked across one of the Aran Islands in Ireland. I even got lost and was by myself for the entire ride back to the ferry. But then the section had half of the ride back was allllll downhill so that was was interesting. It was somehow both stressful and relaxing haha. I celebrated by buying myself coffee and dessert!
I really do not have any favorites... Considering, I do not go outside as much... I do love playing softball and volleyball with friends sometimes.... :) I would love to go hiking at any mountains to just experience and see new things! :D
I love to travel. ^_^ It is definitely on my bucket list to visit New Zealand, Japan, Greece, and Ireland. Sadly, I've yet to leave the US, but I have seen every state excluding Hawaii and Alaska in my life. My fiance and I love the outdoors; kayaking and fishing especially. My favorite all-time travel adventure so far would be camping for nearly a whole week with my fiance and my dog on the beach. Cuddled up at the campfire with some boozy drinks, our dog chasing crabs in our vicinity, and the calm steadiness of the waves is unforgettable, then ending the night snuggled all in a tent together. The same trip, eating freshly-caught flounder and catching (and releasing, of course) a young hammerhead, and so many more adventures. <3 Love.
I had fun reading the comments on this one! I couldn't help but chime in a little. xD
: That sounds like a reward in and of itself! Getting lost is half the fun of exploring, in my opinion. I'm quite jealous! :O
: Insanely sweet and nostalgic! I had a similar experience in the woods as a kid searching for faeries. xD
: Sold. You've added Hong Kong to my bucket list! I love hiking and that sounds really amazing.
: The houses in that museum are so quaint and beautiful! I especially love that cute glass that you bought. :) &lol at the bird story! Protective little parents. xD
: I always explore like that when I move to a new place with my guy as well. :) We are thinking of moving towards mountains next, as we've yet to experience it. It sounds amazing, cute story. ^_^
Can't wait to have so many more adventures. The best one yet was a trip to Alaska - walking through rainforests and hiking in Denali. I miss it!
On my bucket list is to do the Route 66th tour from Chicago to California .. other than that I am not the outdoors type
❤️ CWs for sale ❤️
I'd love to spend more time hiking and just outdoors in general but my anxiety means I don't often leave the house anymore even for important reasons like doctors appointments, One day I'd love to take my kids camping so they can see how amazing it is too.

To all the beautiful rats who forever left their footprints on my heart - Run free, you were loved. Ollie, Lily, Cas, Ragnar, Snart, Rory, Barry, Cisco, Diggle and HR ❤
The Kröller-Müller Museum in the Netherlands can only be accessed by bicycle and is in the middle of a national park. The museum itself houses a large VanGogh collection and the ourdoor garden museum is user friendly. We loved spending a day biking and playing there.
I like to go birdwatching.
...
I've never been hiking! But I would love to visit Redwood National Park someday.
I loved basically everywhere outdoors that I went to in Hawaii. We visited the island of Oahu. It was so beautiful.

Going back out to the Mohave Desert again and camping underneath the stars is on my to-do list for next year. Used to go all the time when I was a kid but have since moved to the other side of the country.

I've been snowboarding in Italy and now I hope to go snowboarding in the Cairngorms in Scotland, and it's booked for January :)
One of the best outdoor adventures I've had was at yellowstone when I was about 5...I pointed and said 'look it's beautiful!' or something along those lines, my family was like 'yes the flowers are very pretty', and I said 'no, the bird!' (It was either a scarlet tanager or a western tanager, I don't remember which at the moment.)
I'd love to go back and visit some of the great hikes in the pacific northwest, too, and I'm sure there are some beautiful hikes internationally that I should try out at some point.
they/them/theirs, please.
aww, thank you for reading my blog! <3
I also had lots of fun reading everyone's adventures :D
I really have to update my blog ObscureJourney and my review site BeingObscure. French speakers can read my reviews here.
My favorite outdoor adventures had to be when I was in Ireland. My friend and I really likes walking the gardens at Blarney Castle (I don't even think we made it inside the castle part to look around), and I enjoys Carrick-a-rede Bridge (which that was NOT a lovely walk, that was a long intense walk), and Giant's Causeway. In America, I just like going to the local parks with friends and to bird watch.
Scaling a rock wall to get down to see tide pools is for sure my favorite, I got to see a starfish ^^
I like hiking but am allergic to tree pollen and always have to bring asthma medicine with me just in case. I don't get to really walk any trails because I have no one else to do it with, and I won't go alone. I would really love to get to walk trails or hike in japan, though, if I ever get to go back
is always sassing me
