Mountain climbing sounds expensive. Since I'm in Alaska, there are several places I should like to visit but haven't found the time yet. Mt. McKinley is here and no shortage of gorgeous mountain views all around.
idk why but this post just made me spit out my coffee.. thanks a lot! :P
I love kayaking. I only got to go maybe three times this past summer, due to work and money issues. I wish I lived in a climate where I could go all year around - that just isn't possible in Michigan, unless I want to buy a drysuit to kayak in, and those are pricey as hell, not to mention cumbersome and uncomfortable to wear.
I love your outdoor adventure ! hugs Verty soon (in about 4 months) we will have to go on another hike together! ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ ^_^ I love all things outdoors!!! (except high winds, cold temperatures, and snow)

I really really extremely want:I just made fire from scratch for the first time today
I love the outdoors... camping, hunting, fishing. I even lived in a cabin by a lake in northern California for a while.

- that's what I was thinking of posting too, in 4 months LOL
Too darn cold to be outside now lol
Living in a cabin sounds like the dream for me! Where in NorCal?
Yesterday I went in ountain. It's been funny with all this snow ^_^
Earlier this year, me and a friend of mine got lost in the New Jersey pine barrens. After wandering around until 10pm, convinced we were close to where we parked the car, my friend had lost one of her shoes and my phone was completely dead. So we gave up and called the park rangers to come get us (on her phone).
My friend was very upset, but I still occasionally text the dispatch officer who found us.
I lived at eagle lake up above Susanville in Lassen county

Oh man, I love Lassen! It is so gorgeous up there.
Now I live in Sioux Falls, SD... I love it.

Sometimes it's nice to not have your phone :D It's amazing much is around us to do that we 'never get around to' when we live somewhere. I do so much more exploring when I'm not on my normal routine, like when I'm traveling or when I have guests. New 2018 goal: explore my own surroundings more!
I went to Costa Rica! back in 2008 I was part of a youth missionary group :) best experience of my life! i tell you it was a huge eye opening thing and such beautiful scenery! but I also got to see the down parts of the country... ones that make you gasp in shock of the devastation that less fortunate have to call home O.o
I LOVE being outdoors, hiking is one of my favorite activities. But what fun would it be without a dog or two....or three or four? Hiking with dogs is the BEST! It's great exercise for you and them plus you're sharing adventures together that'll make for fond memories. ❤️
Now if only it'd stop with the frigid weather so I could actually go enjoy a nice hike. My husky mix absolutely loves the snow and I've been looking forward to a winter hike with her all year but the temps are downright dangerous right now. ;n;
I went scuba diving and ended up being surrounded by these dime-sized jellyfish. They were so lovely, floating through the water. Like we had stumbled upon an alien landscape. Unfortunately, the current carried them right into me and the rest of the scuba group. Those little golden jellyfish sure could pack a punch! Even though it hurt, I still wouldn't want to have missed that sight.
I know, I am totally the same way! And that is really nuts - I am copying your resolution, because it is a good one :P
