Went to White Mountain once when I visited China w my mom and relatives there. In retrospect, it would've been a lot more fun if I hadn't constantly been complaining about the heat.
Sad and no longer functioning.

During the Summer I enjoy playing volleyball and riding my bike around town!
🦋 Happy Holidays! 🦋
My favourite outdoor activities at this time of year are, of course, going to pick out a Christmas tree (before getting older we even cut them down ourselves.) and driving around at night to look at Christmas lights.
DOGS have owners, but CATS have staff.........Give Flower...............
Not sure if going to see the eclipse this past summer counts as 'outdoor' because we watched it in a casino parking lot (I know right?) but I was way out of my zone o' familiarity and it definitely was an adventure.
The Bruce Peninsula is paradise.
Thank you, I am glad that you liked them AND that they inspired you to add Yosemite to your list! It was my first time going despite living all of three hours away. I am kicking myself for taking so long to get out there!
I live in NH where I am surrounded by animals and forests, so anytime I go outside there is adventure. My bucket list location..........Hawaii.
Oh my god you sound like me! I moved to the Sacramento region five years ago and barely explored anything but the Bay up until a few months ago. Oopsies
I'd have to say when I was younger. I used to ride my bike all the time. When I lived with my dad, he didn't have a car at the time, so we would ride to the places we needed to go.
I love the area, actually! I live in Davis, lol
When I was younger I used to go to girls camp during the summer most years, near the end of the week there was always a mile long hike we would go on. ONe year we followed what we thought was the trail, however in actually turned out to be a dear trail and our 1 mile hike turned into a 5 mile one
Yachats is really nice, there's a hotel like as soon as you enter town that's indoor pool overlooks the beach, so you can be warm while swimming and still see the beach.
Coos Bay and North Bend are nice too. I think the neat tourist traps are near there, it's been a long time but there was a zoo thats super shady but I really liked it as a kid Brookings is a speed trap though! They have no signs for the speed near the town until a blind turn and the cops were complete jerks.
A few years back, on Halloween, my best friend and I finally went and snuck into an abandoned orphanage near where we live. It was so cool! There are all kinds of stories about it being haunted (we didn't see any ghosts, certainly) but it's just an old-ass building and it was so dilapidated and dusty and probably full of asbestos lol.
I loved being there and thinking about what kind of things people heard and saw and experienced while living there. It's got a really colorful past. But now it's apartments so I'll never be able to go back :(
my favorite outside adventure it looking outside from a perfectly temperature room ;)
i never left my country, but i would like to visit quite a few places - most of them nature related, i aint a fan of big cities and bright lights x)
My husband likes camping but I'm not big on it lol. I really love just sitting outside and making fires though, I think my ideal outdoor adventure would be a day or one night overnight trip on a small mountain maybe? I think it would be really nice sitting up there next to a warm fire!
