This entire situation is fuckity and there's pretty much no communication (comments on a news post does not count) about the situation and how F'd it is because stockings ran and not trees.

Should've rolled back the site and prevented this entire situation.

So many people are acting like this is the worst thing to happen on Subeta. Somebody made a mistake and they are trying their best to remedy it. Honestly I don't give a shit if we have to wait even a month to get our lumi presents if it means the issue is being worked on. Do I want my lumi presents? Yes, but I'm not gonna throw a fit about it.

And lol you guys actually want a rollback? God no I remember when we had constant rollbacks. What a pain in the ass those were.

Also, it's not about the gifts. It's about staff not actively giving updates. I guess I shouldn't be surprised because it happens all of the time.

Also it's a pretty big fuck up for somebody to roll a script that's from a feature 3 years ago. Does this affect my real life? No. Does it affect mine and my friends game play? Yes. So, grand scheme of life doesn't matter, but in the game it does.

Both sides have a right to their opinion. I'm glad it's being worked on and no I don't want a roll back, but 4 days is a long time to fix something, especially with no updates as to how much longer it could be. I have also posted on the Subeta profile on Facebook and gotten no response. It's not much to ask that they simply post something saying how much longer we will have to wait.

They can't give a deadline because they have no clue what to do properly right now. They seem to be considering their "options".

But I dunno, I am not all that active these days, maybe I missed some crazy ass week long issue this year?

I do agree, there should have been an announcement thread with FAQs in it. we don't need to know what the rumors are going on at the very moment. I don't think the information should have gone out that some gifts may go out anon. I think Amber did a good job of answering questions in the news comments. I've tried to answer and help out as many questions as I can too, though I have much less information than someone on staff. if people have questions, ask them. They can only tell us so much though. "No news" is not an update. it's a pacifier. I don't mean to come off harsh, I just feel people are being too impatient right now.

I think the lack of communication is probably my biggest thing right now. I don't so much care about the items (though I know a lot of other people certainly do, which is completely understandable), but it just feels like everyone is kind of in the dark, especially people that haven't read over this thread and seen the staff post (which I only knew about because of the link from OP).

Even just something saying they're trying to figure it out, or looking through options would be nice to see, and just keep people in the loop.

No at this point i feel it is too late to have a rollback. The day it happened yea it wouldn't have been as bad as say 4 days after it happened? If we had a roll back now it would be a mess. If we had a rollback that day, yes the site would have been doen for possibly 2 days but at least things would have went back to normal and less would have happened. Now that 4 days have gone by people have bought things, sold things, given gifts, ect.

2015 was a shit year in general I think. :/

With Shengui Guo having one shop with three food items a day for what, one month, one month and half, after how hyped it was? Hell, Shengui Guo having three shops and that's it still? Some themed months having very little content related to their theme. Lifelike doll releases being spaced more and more? And, that's not all, I'm sad over no Cherry/Silver pet release, aside from the Montre (which was part of a revamp)

Man, I can't wait to go and get into 2016.

We can have one, we would just be missing out on too much and it would upset everyone at this point. I'm not sure if anyone knows how much data would have been lost in the rollback, because things aren't backed up every minute. there had to be some point before that happened that things were backed up and gifts hadn't gone out, and I don't have any information on how long it was. The rollback wouldn't have fixed the gifts either. someone would have still had to disable the wrong script from running and make sure everything is in working order. There would have been no guarantee that the site would only be down for two days. With the communication everyone complains about so much, would you rather have the site be down without much communication or would you rather have the ability to do your daily things on the site, not get your gifts for an undetermined time, but still have the ability to do what you do on any non holiday? I think they made the right call by getting the site up as quickly as possible. So our gifts didn't go out on Xmas. Luminaire is allegedly not xmas. I think we can all wait a few more days to get our presents.

nope rollback happened, it's all gone now :c along with those hours of bqs and forum posts and just everything I did, which would have never happened if the site had been offline.

I only mentioned it as a joke really. I don't think a rollback would have been the right route to take if the site had to be down for so long. people are mentioning them though without really knowing what would happen from a rollback. it isn't going back to any point in the past you want. and doing a rollback without Keith here... I think they just wanted to avoid that situation.

Relax people... to put pressure on them will not help. Keith is not here to help them or even to tell them what to do (vacation, no internet) and they are trying their best to solve the situation by themselves.

A rollback will bring more complains than now, trust me, I've been there.. none of you would like to lose a space background they just rsed, an achievement of a lucky game or a win against prodigy.. so just stop with this rollback.. it's not the solution.

Also, speaking of 2015 lackluster things, Advent Calendar was one to me. Probably the year I didn't feel bad about missing days because most of the stuff are part of 7+ piece sets.

I like advent calendar to get goofy little stuff not 10 items about Rambert.

What's all this about a rollback anyway? For people who don't understand like me, please?

so the site backs up every so often. a roll back would entail setting things back to one of those points, and everything that happened after those points just never happened. say the last time it backed up was midnight on xmas eve. it's like anything you did on the rest of xmas eve for xmas never happened. once the site went up again, things would go on as normal. they could have tried to stop the stocking script from running while the site was down and possibly fixed things to run normally, but the site would have been down for 2 days or more from what I understand.

as someone who doesn't care about wearables much, I don't really care about the advent calendar. I got my few books and I was happyish. I was sad darkheart phantom guy didn't become a challenger, but I didn't really think that was going to happen in the first place. I can understand how only having a few sets of items with a few random things sprinkled in is annoying though.
