we wont be having any new wearable books, the ones we have now are relics of subeta past. i would like some new tiers for wardrobe too!

Please no more wardrobe tiers :( 15k is too much already and it's just annoying to have too many clothes that I'll never use anyway.. I just want a clarification that the 15k is the LAST one, and then I'll sell everything and I'll be rich again.. I really have like 3bil there lol

I would prefer more layers, and collections of wears achievements..

There's no reason why this can't be changed back but only for items bought with special currency like Vesnali coins and Steamworks trinkets. The original ban on them being wearable could have been because there weren't many books on the site at the time and we didn't have all these special currency shops A book could make a backdrop to suit players who want wardrobe items while being readable would suit players who aren't interested in the wardrobe. Some players, of course, would want several copies so they could wear it and read it to pets.

Carelessly Stacked Books in Quentin's shop is only a wearable. Why can't it be made readable as well? After all, the Haunted Bookshelf is classed as a book even though there's more than one book on the shelves.

I love the wardrobe and all the new wearables. I'll never be able to get/afford them all, but my wishlist is expanding, lol. That said though, I feel for the people on here who don't really care that much about wearables. In fact, I do like battling as well as games. It would really make me happy to see some new games, in fact. Something along the lines of Angry Birds or those match-3 games that there are so many of.

Woah woahwowahwoah wait a second, then the blue building better stop asking me for subeautique and other wildly expensive items because I have to skip like 3-4 of the FIVE stinkin' quests we get. It's already hard enough to get points so what do you consider "easy to get"?

Also I don't support even the mention of the atebus shop closing down. Like what. No. I thought everyone loved space / sci-fi crap and there's so much more that could be added to that shop but apparently I'm the only weirdo out there.... Guess it's time to hoard the whole stock as I will inevitably need something for future TC items, as I cannot move away from a space theme...

This is so disappointing. ;-; Since it's Revamp Year, I was kind of half expecting the Atebus Shop to get a makeover and some decent items, but just doing away with it? Sadness. But a plus is Stargazer is getting a revamp so that's pretty neat. I can't be upset about that.

Why not add more science-fiction shows based items to the Atebus Shop instead, I'm sure many of us would embrace that. If it keeps going like that with erasing shop after shop that "no one cares about" the only Shops left on Subeta will sell clothes (big surprise)...well, and maaaybe food.

Do you have any idea how much I love that idea? Mystery Science Theater 3000 tribute items anyone? Also, all you lovely people that love Doctor Who and Star Trek and so much more. It sounds great just thinking about it!

Great idea. I often restock at the Atebus Shop so I don't want to see it disappear like the Graveyard Shop.

is the last weapon added to a regular shop, not an event shop, MC, BHH, Token Shop, etc.

I really thought I was going to be able to find the exact date it was released but SubetaLodge news only goes back to August 2010.

It is indeed depressing.

I dunno, I think that staff are MUCH better at balancing the ratios to wearables:whatever and cash:obtainable these days; think of the year before custom wearables where every other release was clothes in the cash shop as the site struggled forward. While wearables do take precedence, I'm sure the staff has the resources to see what connects most with the users: which types of cash shop items get bought the most, what gets bought the least and use it to influence the direction the site takes. They can't cater to the vocal minority exclusively if that's all it appeals to.

And the weapons. Yeah, I wouldn't mind if some restockables were added, but staff only tend to add stuff which has a purpose these days. Anything that restocks has to top off around tier 4 as our 'super rares' are still too available to retain any meaningful value.

Two cents on the Atebus shop: please give it love and don't remove it, there is little enough modern sci-fi around as it is ;A;

I agree with , at this rate the shops we'll have onsite will be the clothing rack and SBQ. And that's a big maybe because somehow I can see the clothing rack being removed as well.

Removing shops = Takes a chunk, yes probably a small chunk but still, of items requested by quests out.

I wouldn't mind the Graveyard Shop closing so much if Quentin's section of the quest prize shop had a few items relating to demons, vampires and funerals. This was the kind of stuff that the Graveyard Shop used to stock until old kitten dolls were added for some unknown reason.

Why are you moving away from the main shops? Are we going to end up with a site where there's not much point turning up unless there's a special event providing new stock for special shops?

Removing things from main shops and putting emphasis on events that are free to participate makes no sense. Didn't you revamp restocking to be more user-friendly?

As boring as it may appear to be, restocking (and vending, because 99% of the pool of vendable items) give users a reason to come on site daily, and getting a brand new item instead of all-the-same-stuff IS exciting and fun.

For weapons, I see zero reasons not to stock tier 1 to 5 weapons in the main shops as well. Battling should be friendly for everyone, not just people with tier 11 weapons. Having the ability to make a good beginner set via main shop weapons should also be an opportunity

Personally I am all about the wears, and I think the release rate of wears is fantastic.

It's both important and terrific to have a high release rate on wearables to counterpoint the CW releases for those without CW funds.

I would not mind in the least, for me personally, if (other than minions, I like those a bit,) wears were the only thing EVER released.

However, I agree that isn't fair to those who collect that other cr.. I mean, who collect other things. :)

So yes - there should be more of the other item, too. Hopefully, not interrupting the release of wears - maybe hire another artist?

But either way, release more non-wear items. I won't be interested, but lots of others will be.

So here is a vote of support for that idea...

What about weapons being TC items? What about people who like to collect weapons because they look cool, or because they like experimenting with them? What about utilizing more equipped weapon combos (Pandemonium + Ignitious, for example)?

Pets "outgrow" weapons all the time, it's the way this tiered battle system works. You can't expect a T11 pet to use a Battle Spork and a Battered Shield while fighting Prodigy.

Gonna be rambling here, but I'm gonna follow the logic of your post about weapons becoming useless after a while.

Ignoring the achievements, TC fodder, quest fodder and sell-for-profit aspect of the items:

• plushies and toys are also absolutely useless because we have the resort + minions that keep pets happy forever
• food is also essentially useless if you're not going for the gourmand achievement because there's a resort that keeps pets fed
• collectable items like beanbags, plushies and trading cards are also useless once a user shoves that item in their collection
• clothing is useless for people who are not into human avatars

tl;dr - it might be my lack of sleep showing, but all the items on-site are essentially useless if you're not into whatever purpose that item was meant for. Or they become useless once they've fulfilled said purpose.

Oh hell yes. I'd be all over this. What I wouldn't give for an actual Rowsdowermobile item.

But anyway, add me as another person who's disappointed to hear about the Atebus Shop. No offense, but I think closing the shop and making the items prizes for Stargazer is a terrible idea. How about letting the shop stay open and Stargazer have some unique prizes that we can only get by playing the game?
