also dude we had some restockable books for january (minion books) and february (experiements). WE DO LIKE SOME RESTOCKABLES I GUESS.
also that wearable thing: you'd have to git a looooooot of old items to be able to get special ploty things. We have to balance it to where the items aren't losing their value to where people who spent a crazy amount of points during the event/activity/plot but still get new users/people who missed the event a chance at them. That's pretty hard with clothes.
We are trying to get revamps in with each of the themes. We had some minion revamps in January, February we got the zapper revamped (I don't think any of the pets did though but we did get some new ones?), this month the tree got revamped. Next month there will def be some item revamps + pet ones :X
I'm all for that. Have you seen some of these pets? I'm looking at you, Charlie.
New people can go and restock them, woooooo. Or vend them in Oceans Depths.

hahahaa. Yeah, I want to go through and do more retirements from the Clothing Rack and Accessory Bin. I was slowly clearing them out. TIME TO GO BACK AT IT. Make them still available via vending or something dumb.

Super tired of everything nice being released to the Cash Shop. I love the wardrobe, it's my favorite thing to do on here, but I wholeheartedly agree with the original post. I'm sorry, the art that we get on-site that doesn't go to the Cash Shop, is not that great. I get that the site needs funding, but it's ridiculous that anything and everything nice has to be Cash Shop. Even some of the SubQ lines released lately are just bad. Shading that is too shiny, wigs that are too chunky and look like playdough, face items that look off-kilter when you actually put them on...there needs to be a quality standard met. Achievements haven't been updated. We need more of those for collections too, because there's a huge amount of plushies, beanbags, & trading cards and the achievements just stop so early. We also have hundreds of wigs but barely any ankle, finger, lower back, etc wearables, I feel like this is a problem as well. Main Shops are barely getting any attention, and that's really lame because they NEED attention. Economy? Hello? And I agree as well that the lack of new colors for pets with the new potions is really disappointing. What's the point of making a new color if only a few pets can be that color, months after the release?
A lot of items they've been releasing, I've noticed, are based on trends in the CW market. You're all making flats? We'll do that too, and they'll look eerily similar to the custom versions. You're making tentacle stuff? We'll do that too. And you're right, we do see a lot of stuff that's just boring repeats of other items. Like...come on....
Since we're on the topic of ignored shops, I've been wondering lately if anyone has any plans of ever making the items from the Islander/Pirate shop accessible again? x: Some people worked really hard at that event, but to my knowledge, no one really sells the points anymore and it's caused a lot of items from both shops to become unobtainable- I'm not even just talking about the weapons, but books, minions, plushies, useless TC fodder, etc.. I can remember a few years ago I think it was that the Hustler sold some of the Islander wearables- any chance other items from those shops could be added to the queue or maybe the MC could sell point cards like it did for Epicon? It'd be nice to see the face painting brought back too, that was cute.
Those are going to be apart of the sP sink I mentioned a bit ago. We are going to make it where you can buy the collectable items from old plot things and events (like pirate/islander/cruise/etc). That includes stickers, books, plushies, foods. :) Again, we are looking into another way to release the clothing and minions. We don't want to rerelease points for those things but we do want to make the items available again so people can complete collections.
We are releasing Cherry/Silver pets every few weeks though? We’ve been doing them between holiday colors (Steamworks, Graveyard, Sweetheart). They are good things to release between that so pets are always getting some type of attention. Like I’ve also pointed out, next month will get some pet love too. Regarding wearables — people have constantly been asking for new hair styles in multiple colors. I see more suggestions for that on the forums over ankles or finger items. We’ve also been asked multiple times for more flats on site — that’s why those recent flats go so many colors, like way more than what we usually do for recolors. We weren’t going based of what CW things have been released, we were going off suggestions from our users.
As far as achievements that drop off early — do you mean the actual achievements? I was in the SB earlier asking for things I could add more tiers to (and beanbags/plushies were suggestions) but they were also talking about prizes within the collections. So I just want to be clear as to what you are suggesting — do you want more tiers or more prizes when you hit a certain level?
For minion, I'm assuming minion battling, since Keith hinted at something like that, but a way to get old clothes ( these stupid flower barrettes) might interest me

As far as I'm aware, no. I'd really like to take all the stock and use them as prizes for stargazer (which is going to be revamped to be really cool ugh i can't wait guys seriously).
That'd be a good way to get those minions out for sure. I'm not completely sure how but I'm sure we could think of something cool.

I'm asking about more tiers. More prizes at certain tiers would be nice too, but it's kind of boring when you have no goal to meet, you know? I don't ever use the shoutbox, so I don't see anything that happens there. Too much going on at once for me. But I'm mostly referring to tiers.
Oh yeah, I have more tiers on my list of things to do! I want to add titles too so you guys get something cool for hitting so high. If you have suggestions for tiers on other achievements, let me know! I know people want new achievements isntead of just more tiers to things, but I don't mind doing both!
I kind of want to add more prizes to each too, though. I think plushies goes to 500 right now? That's silly haha.
New achievements would be super cool too. More things to collect, more goals to keep people interested in doing stuff on the site and staying active.
Also, crying forever because Atebus Shop is perfect. I really hope those kinds of things will still be vendable because I have the worst luck at chance games. D;
