I'm gonna have to suggest Experiment . This guy:

I would love to own one because I adore the general look and idea of him, but the art seems incredibly dated to me. The colouring is muddy and splotchy, the anatomy is ambiguous (what is that thing on his back? A snail shell? It just looks like a purple wheel resting somewhere behind him; also, oddly off-center chest), the stitches on his ears are kinda muddled and too small to make out the proper details, his collar is strangely angled and also poorly detailed, and his lineart is overall a single weight and makes him look flat.

Again, I LOVE the general idea of what this pet is; the zapper mutants are my favourite part of this whole site and looks so wicked and scheming. I just wish this guy's art was on par with some of his ilk.

Thank you for suggesting this guy! I agree: his concept is awesome (his sinister expression is my favorite), but the art is a little dated. I love the experiment pets (and own three of them), so I'm always happy for the experiments to get more attention!

Yeah! Trust me, the second this guy is given a facelift, he'd earn a spot in my pet roster. Otherwise, I've had to sadly pass over him and keep zapping just for how bad his age is showing. Hope enough users feel the same that he can get some consideration!

I think chibi escalade should be revamped, its shading and linework look outdated. I would also like to suggest that if/when this pet gets revamped that it is drawn without the helmet. With the recent encyclopedia update I think it would be neat.

All of the basic aeanoids need a revamp. The lines are super thick and dont have tapers to ends. The shading is so flat. I love the species dearly but the need for a revamp of aeanoids is intensssssse.

The Spectrum Clawsion! The rainbow colors are faded and the line art is thin. She sticks out the most out of all my pets because the style is very 2006 (when I colored her)- all my other pets are super current (2012-15). I believe the rest of the species is revamped too.

i'm really shocked that the Lain isn't in the first post. the linework is so thin that it's really hard to distinguish all the feathers from each other, on top of that the face is just really wonky and unappealing... i agree. i love it, but the common art's so weird-looking that i went with the scribble version instead since it ironically looks more appealing

I'm currently zapping my pet Hieronymus to become one, in the hopes he someday gets art redone in the future. Cuz I'm still madly in love with the pet in general.

If it doesn't happen, well, I guess there's always overlays! Though I'd rather not pay for a pet I'd just be redoing the art verbatim on my own.

I love the Reborn Demi, but I feel like it could def use some updated art. It's awful pixely in spots, and I can't tell if that's blue fire or gray at the base of the fire mane lol

I sorta wish this board had some sort of staff feedback to it. I assume they plan to revamp those they believe necessary to revamp but for the species where people have suggested revamping all the common colors it'd be cool if we could get a: yay, nay, later because it is not top priority.

It sincerely bothers me that so many of the canine, feline, bears, rodents and other pets based on real animals and the same species in minions that SHOULD have whiskers don't. How can you forget such a vital part of an animal?

Anyu, Archan, Celinox, Chai, Feli, Jollin, Kanis, Kumos, Manchu (based on the Ring-Tailed Lemur, Montre, Pherret, Popoko, Priggle, Ruffie, Telenine, Terracoon and Tigrean. These pets and any minions that are based on RL animals that naturally grow whiskers should have them here, too. I've never understood the why behind it. These specific animals need this bad. Please fix

That would never happen, can you imagine how long it would take to track down every animal on this site that would need to have this updated? Most of the old files are probably lost or the art is just old and a majority of them would need to be redrawn. I also think it would be distracting on a lot of pets or minions. Really thin fine line are a pain in the ass to draw and on a lot of animals the whiskers are unnoticeable anyway unless you're looking really closely.

Also keep in mind these animals aren't earth animals and don't "need" to have whiskers. While I would personally love to see more whiskers on minions and pets and that's hopefully something staff can look at for future releases, nothing about old ones will change.

There's a quite a few minions that have whiskers though. + many many more.

Might I recommend creating two distinct spoiler tags, one that lists "in need of touching up/minor revamping" and the other lists "in need of desperate revamp"?

I personally would hate to see the Angelic Antlephore receive too dramatic of a revamp, as it is one of my long time favorites of the species. It could use some touching up, but overall, I love it just the way it is, in that goofy pose. xD

I'd also like to argue that the Glade Archan is fairly recent, and I believe it looks perfectly fine.

Chibi is probably the one that needs more help tho. Glacier is nice and quite pretty, but for reasions idk why I think it lacks something :'D I would love a new dark matter or chibi sheeta, personally I think it's a beautiful species. The darkmatter lkacks some shadow atm.

Another pet that i would LOVE some new shading is The pose is lovely and perfect, I love the face, I just really think it needs some shading. I mean, lets compare with some newer chibi looks: They look like they have fur, the shadows are perfect. ;w; The celinox looks way too much 2D (I would love if they keep the pose too, the pose is way too adorable ;A;)

The Kumos is needing love. Compared to other pets that have received revamps, the Kumos is looking very flat and undetailed. An example is posted below to show the details of the newly revamped Montre against the flat Kumos. There's a lot more paw, fur and wing detail in the Montre over the Angelic Kumos. Disregard the wings of each specie for examples of the flatness and minimally detailed (paws, etc) look of the Kumos in comparison to the Montre.

Also, would someone enlighten me as to why the Kumos, Montre and so many others have that break in the lineart on the jawbone, please? I've always felt it looks funny.

Compared to the 3485, the 69012 is outdated. The anatomy is wonky and the shading doesn't give it the sense of bulk the newer experiment has:

There's no life to this poor guy - at least not the homicidal rage sort of thing supposed to be present in bloodred. I mean, Demis appear demure in a lot of poses, but this poor kid. Also, the markings seem too bright for bloodred now (like bloodred Endeavor)

i really want to love pherrets but these dudes need some reworking imo!! updated shading would be great but also given that they're based off of ferrets, they really need more excitement going on!!

bc as a ferret owner i can confirm that unless sleeping there's not a time my ferret isnt doing something along these lines

I think the entire "base" harvester colors need a revamp. Compare the common to some of the posed versions and you'll see what I mean.
