Some of the special colors for the Donadak are cute, but I think this pet really needs a revamp honestly. Especially on the basic colors, a lot of the art just looks really outdated. I think it's a cute pet, but it could definitely use some attention.

I'd really like to see some new wings on the Angelic Swampie! Right now the wings look kinda like a bathmat.

I think the Bumbus and Illumis could use a wing re-draw so that the wings are translucent. The Blacklight and Spectrum Illumis would be stunning if they had stain-glass looking wings that were semi-see through o.o

I agree with those saying it's Donadak's time to get revamped. Looking at the newer art for them, I surely believe they have such great potential, overlooked by many due to the outdated art on..well, almost every colour.

Giving another vote for this devil snail, could be totally fabulous with a revamp. Look at this mocking smile !

vs. The hydrus antlephore is pretty flat looking. The ridged hooves and antlers are super cool, and the even-sized eyes are nice. The dewlap on its chest is kind of confusing. Actually a lot of hydrus pets are outdated, either very flat or with very bulky lines :'(

vs. The basic cadogres could use a touchup as well, they look weird and plasticy, and with that same old overly thick outline, and they just look hella dated compared to their more recent (gorgeous!) reposes.

vs. Spectrum hikei bc what century is that thing from? Chibi hikei, bc those feet are what nightmares are made of. They're the only plantigrade hikei

Not saying that they shouldn't get a touch up, but to me it kind of makes sense that the Cadogres and Endeavors have a bit of a shiny or metallic look to them, considering that they are actual robotic pets.

I think several of the Kora's re-posed colors could use some help. A lot of them have overly thick lines and flat, cartoony-looking shading, which is a shame because its nicer-looking colors are really beautiful and I feel like it's not living up to its full potential.

to be honest, most of the chibi pets need to be revamped, but my main focus is on the Chibi Montre. montre was my very first pet on Subeta when i first joined years ago. someone randomly gifted me a chibi potion and i was so ecstatic as i used it on my montre. i haven't changed her color since.

however, looking at it now, the design is very outdated. it looks like Old Subeta, which isn't a bad thing! but it's just a lot more simplified and not as strong of a design as it could be. comparing it to most other pets, it looks way, way too basic, though my main issue lies with the face and eyes. the detail in the tail and wings are lovely, but the snout looks crooked and the eyes look.. odd.

I didn't see it in the main post, and this has been bugging me ever since I noticed-- The darkmatter keeto could really use an update -- most of it is really good, but it has no shading on the black portions of its fur! I love, love the rest of the art so much, but the flatness of quite a bit of the fur bothers me a lot. :c I assume it was a file error or something, but since the original artist no longer works for Subeta, I don't know if it could be fixed without some sort of revamp..

Will the Keeto ever get a full revamp? only the Storm, Glacier, Glade and Nightmare looks perfect with details and good shading, the rest looks really old and without life compare to the other pets, even the old ones.. So far it's only getting shading revamps every few years..

I know this has been suggested in many ways before, but the poor Aeanoids really need a revamp (all except the more recent storm addition). The poor guys are such special pets but they lack so much compared to the revamped pets that look so amazing nowadays!

I'd be so happy if just their basic colors were redrawn and set up to the current Subeta pet standard. (Like common, arid, sun, etc.)

*The old ones aren't necessarily bad, they just don't match the new style!

I think the sheeta's could be revamped a bit. I love the artwork of the Nightmare Sheeta, but the shading on that design compared to say, the dusk design for example; is a big difference.

I joke, but I do hope the Illumis gets a touch up and revamp in most of it colors (Glade is my favorite of it's special colors) just to have it fit along with all the new art. Though this thread has been helping the artists a lot, considering that I've seen so many of the suggested pets get newer looks c:

I agree, because the Sheeta is one of my favorite pets. What really bothers me is the Hooves? Are they supposed to be hooves or feet? I think the shading and coloring could fix that, and slight touch up to all of its colors in terms of shading would go a long way.

Its color palette is really redundant with Cherry and Reborn, now. I wouldn't mind it getting revamped to be closer to the other Sun pets.

Unlike pets like the Feli, where the different Sun coloration makes sense, the Common Lain is not orange. The darker Sun pets are getting phased out, too, so I hae high hopes that I will have a legit orange birb someday

I noticed the Blacklight, Spectrum, Galactic, and Glacier ontra are all in severe need of an update. I believe it was mentioned they don't have an artist at current, but I don't think it would hurt to list them for the sake of the... well, list, would it? All four still have the rather old ontra look without ears.

I totally agree about the Hydrus pets! I accidentally made a separate topic post to point out all the ones that should definitely be revamped. Here's the list of the ones I specifically think need to be revamped (and a lil comment on some of them):

Aeanoid Antlephore (one of the more disappointing ones to me) Anyu Archan (although it looks kinda cool as is, I think it doesn't look as cool as a great archan should look) Celinox (it looks just a bit too old and doesn't really fit in with the style of most Subeta pets now) Chai (I just think it could use a lil' bit more "hydrus" feel to it)

the ontra is now drawn by i believe, so i think all the ontra colors will probably be getting updated in due time.
