I know, I know. It’s not a Subeta holiday unless something breaks or the site lags. It wasn’t our intention to have literally everything die on us at once, but hey. It happens?

A little background information for those just tuning in for Survival. There was an issue where if you kissed someone, your strain (vial or whatever you chose from VIP) disappeared! :( got a fix for it done so fast, you wouldn’t believe, but the site just wouldn’t take it. No matter how many times we redeployed, the site just refused. I’ve worked with and and finally, four hours later, the site itself should be running smoothly now. It’s only taken our blood, sweat, and tears, but it’s worth it for y’all to bite and kiss each other to become zombies and eat candy.

If you purchased a strain earlier and had it removed due to a kiss, file a ticket! UA’s will reimburse you. <3

We're still looking/working into everything else going on, but wanted to update you a bit!

Glad it's back for you. If it disappears, try clearing cache first (worked for some but others like myself it's more complicated). If it doesn't work then file a ticket.

If you don't want your skin to show the morphing phases you can use a background that covers the entire HA... It's what I'm doing but I also did complex layering so it seems like the base is on top when it isn't ;) You can also use a background with a cutout of the HA, put the base under the bg so it shows less.

Did you file a ticket about the wardrobe?

It appears that for some (not all) when the new day settings occur (midnight) the wardrobe becomes dysfunctional. Staff are working on the issue.

FYI: Wardrobe won't show the infection but if you go to the healer or hover over your name to see your HA you can see the progress as long as your base is showing.

If anyone is waiting for a specific infection from VIP, hang in there! I signed up for White yesterday morning and got the infection notification early this evening. I was worried it wouldn't work, but it was just really slow.

Tried to enter the Virus Infection Program since Survival started. No one has bitten me. Early today I cancelled it and tried again. Nothing yet :/

Am I doing something wrong? Can someone bit me already? Any virus is okay.

I purchased a strain yesterday. I got the notification, then noticed later it was removed. I am purchasing again. I hope everything goes smoothly this time around and there won't be any "third time's the charm".

The VIP is still showing it's free but try's to charge. I paid the 25k but I haven't seen my virus go anywhere. I still am not seeing anything besides the kiss option. Didn't know where else to put this. Any ideas on what to do?

The bite buttons are back on the forum (yay) but the wardrobe isn't loading. Can't get the HA, wear/save to load or skins... so we can't change skins to bite people. Well, it's progress, keep at it shakes pompoms

I signed up for Green yesterday shortly after Survival started, and just now got the infection notification, so it took roughly 26 hours. For anyone thinking about resetting I guess just hang tight? -shrugs- Seems like a long time to wait to even get infected, but I'm sure we'll have plenty of time to get multiple strains.

I just I think I accepted it might be too late for me to salvage my strain plans this year and may have to just shuffle them to next year. I'm worried on giving up on Lotus now as it is a short strain and my only other option is to get one of the brand new viruses as biting is disabled. I was going to try for one of the new ones at the end for survival though when things are more on a time crunch so if I have no choice then I will take it. However unless I am told I HAVE to get rid of it, I'll just continue waiting and accept the consequences of missing out on Survival if I made the wrong choice.

I have tried logging in on firefox, edge, and chrome and still not able to change my HA even when saving with no changes on every browser. kisses all disappear and it seems my progress has been halted. fun times.

:/ nope no change, even cleared cache for the third time before getting on edge.

I just want someone to tell if I'm progressing at this rate, I'd be fine not seeing it progress myself just knowing that I WILL see my skin unlocked at the time it should.

I'm regretting starting my vial at 4 last night now though in the meen time. --;

Been 5.5hrs and no initial signs, nor a notification. I don't remember the timing on it but I thought by now I should've at least received a note.
Bought Red at about 8:30am Subeta time, refreshed myself in the wardrobe a few times and don't see anything.

If it helps anyone, I was able to see my new HA when I used a different browser. On Chrome it still shows my old one, but I can see my new HA on Safari, including the kisses

x_x I do thank staff for doing as good job so far dispite the chaos, sorry also on frusterated posts.

My gut is telling me to hold on and not give up on the vial yet but my brain is telling me I'm wasteing time not dumping it for a strain that isn't currently effected by the glitches. I don't have a tie breaker between them so mostly waiting until I hear "yes they are progressing" or "no they aren't progressing currently", either way I feel I might be kicking myself this year on choices I make or don't make in this so it's added to my likely unnessary panic >_<

If anyone has been infected and not seen the strain progress and you think enough time has passed for it to progress try going to wardrobe and resaving the ha, that should work.

I'm a bit late to the Survival party, but it seems that's for the best! Thank you staff for your hard work, I can't wait to become a zombie. <3

The wardrobe seems to be mostly behaving, I was able to change my HA just fine. It let me wear a couple of new items from the Amour Parlor that I hadn't bought yet though, which was kinda weird.

I had no issue with the stinging vial last year but I kinda wish I knew this though.

-right now is trying to stay in lurk mode as I've reached my frustration limit and might just give up if I have to start over as I won't get any of my goals done now-

I already bought a spare lotus vial to be safe so I may not bother asking to have it back, as I bought this one back in december. Staff is overloaded as is anyways so anything I can solve on my own lessens their workload

Alright, I joined two hours roughly before midnight and nothing... I redid the strain I wanted and waited a couple more hours after midnight and nothing. Went to bed thinking by the time I got back on I would have progress. Guess I'll file a ticket because I'm not about to redo this again.

It's because the vials are still causing troubles, they were being a pain last year too. Sadly all that can be done right now is see if you can get your vial back (or the sP for it), pick another strain, and hope staff are able to figure out whatever is causing the vials to be so finicky.

It seems like it doesn't work on my end. I signed up for White 5 minutes after the news post. Around 6pm, I still did not receive my notification nor was my strain removed. I canceled but ended up canceling 4 more times because it simply wouldn't work (page refreshes, goes blank, etc.) It shows up at the Healer, but not on my avatar, nor in my wardrobe. Last night, my icon was waiting for 'Bite' and 'No biting' on the forums. Which made no sense ...

It seems like several area are glitched. I have seen users with a missing avatar too.

others selected a color strand and have gotten it, so since im one of the few glitched problems I wont get it and have to wait to be bitten on what stage 7 or something? lol such a disappointing event. Never have had issues before and unanswered forum posts is so disappointing too.

The problem is, the viruses progress very slowly to stage 1 if you're not bitten. and since we can't bite rn, you guys are waiting the "natural" long time it takes for the virus to take hold of you.... :(
