SURVIVAL: kisses breaking everything

I know, I know. It’s not a Subeta holiday unless something breaks or the site lags. It wasn’t our intention to have literally everything die on us at once, but hey. It happens?

A little background information for those just tuning in for Survival. There was an issue where if you kissed someone, your strain (vial or whatever you chose from VIP) disappeared! :( got a fix for it done so fast, you wouldn’t believe, but the site just wouldn’t take it. No matter how many times we redeployed, the site just refused. I’ve worked with and and finally, four hours later, the site itself should be running smoothly now. It’s only taken our blood, sweat, and tears, but it’s worth it for y’all to bite and kiss each other to become zombies and eat candy.

If you purchased a strain earlier and had it removed due to a kiss, file a ticket! UA’s will reimburse you. <3

We're still looking/working into everything else going on, but wanted to update you a bit!

If we chose one of the new strains and are just waiting on it to take hold still we're fine, right? Or should we re-select them like those who were waiting on instant selections?

right now this theme is perfect due to site lag glitch as a infection style. Most people did not noticed this right away.

I would say that you don't have it anymore. Many of us that also signed up for the instant option see the message:

So it seems like I have to resign up (had gotten random free, bitten till infected for crackhead) but it won't let me resign up. I did file a ticket... I'm a bit disappointed I might not be able to get reinfected tonight... even if it eventually lets me sign up forums aren't working so I can't get bitten. I appreciate you all have been working hard & must be exhausted.

I did the $25,000 to get one of the new strains at random and got the message that I'd been matched with a specialist but when I go to the VIP page it doesn't say anything about me having a strain already like it has in years past. It's all the options to pick a stain still, so do I have a strain or no?

I expected the lag once survival started. I just hope I don't have to wait to long for my new random strain to kick in. I picked it once Survival started and still have the prompt:

"Thanks for participating in the Volunteer Infection Program! You've still got some time to wait, but you will receive an event once you've received your chosen virus!"

I'm still confused. Gunner says I've signed (random new is what I did) up and am still waiting. Do I need to tell him I don't want it and then sign up again or will it still happen?

I got the instant 2019 strain a little after 4 PM, but I still get the Thanks for participating in the Volunteer Infection Program!

I use the forum buttons: left click does nothing (it just changes the url of the bite button to the url of the topic), right click + new tab results in 404.

I bought the instant strain, never received notification that I got the infection. I'm a lot more concerned about being out the time than the little bit of SP. Maybe you can stretch Survival an extra day? Isn't that what happened last year?

I didn't do the no wait option. That was my problem ;) So in case anyone else did what I did - make sure you went with the very bottom button and spend 25k on the new virus for the no-wait option :p Glad I double checked before doing a ticket!

I cant get on the forums, so i dunno if its already mentioned, but I noticed I'm wearing an item I dont actually own yet! Pretty cool, but I'm saving candy hearts like mad to actually own the item instead of leaving it as is.

I believe I purchased the Song strain from 2018. I'm not sure whether or not everything bugged out, as this is my first Survival. It looks like everything is okay, but was I supposed to receive an event notifying me of a confirmation of successful infection?

I haven't been able to load the nvlb on survival board and I was supposed to be infected but now I might need to be reinfected goodness :S Tis holiday time :P

Unfortunately, your strain hasn't progressed far enough for your bite to be effective, but try again later!" i never got my "enjoy the ride" alert, but i've got the expensive emergency exit (1m to choose a new strain) instead of the free one so it looks like i'm good to go! that's fantastic, i'm glad the fix finally stuck, thank you guys so much for powering through ;w;
