SURVIVAL: kisses breaking everything

I know, I know. It’s not a Subeta holiday unless something breaks or the site lags. It wasn’t our intention to have literally everything die on us at once, but hey. It happens?

A little background information for those just tuning in for Survival. There was an issue where if you kissed someone, your strain (vial or whatever you chose from VIP) disappeared! :( got a fix for it done so fast, you wouldn’t believe, but the site just wouldn’t take it. No matter how many times we redeployed, the site just refused. I’ve worked with and and finally, four hours later, the site itself should be running smoothly now. It’s only taken our blood, sweat, and tears, but it’s worth it for y’all to bite and kiss each other to become zombies and eat candy.

If you purchased a strain earlier and had it removed due to a kiss, file a ticket! UA’s will reimburse you. <3

We're still looking/working into everything else going on, but wanted to update you a bit!

She doesn't seem to be working for me and my vial strain, though I think my HA still not loading in the wardrobe being why.

I don't think my first stage is kicking in, I used a Lotus Vial at 4;00 roughly yet the healer doesn't show anything other then stateing I'm infected. I guess my plan of getting infected as soon as survival started has hit a snag, I might not get 4 strains in this year at this rate :(

Now the bite button changed completely to look like the new kiss button. Except now when I try to bite it just says "Biting..." and never indicates if it went through.

Is there any way to tell how long we have to wait to kiss again? I’m finding it very frustrating that it doesn’t tell me any sort of info about wait time. Can be really very frustrating especially when playing from my phone.

New problem... Went on the forum naked, showed "bite" but went to wardrobe put on saved outfit that did not have a skin, now says "infected". Now try to go to wardrobe but HA and wear/save buttons not appearing. cough Is Ralph breaking the internet again?

The buttons shouldn't link to bite.php anymore - that doesn't exist. You have to click the button, you can't just go to a URL.

Ah, think the strain is now showing up on my HA right by the ear (I don't remember any of the kisses looking like that). I went for a random new virus and it looks like I may have red.

I'm having the same issue as one or two other people I've seen are having, where the kiss buttons under the avatar don't work, but I'm able to use the new (really awesome looking) kiss buttons if the user has put them out. ... What I'm wondering is, are we going to be able to use the older kiss buttons under the avatar in the future? They tell us how much time we have left before we can kiss again, and that is a huge help :)

The kiss buttons under people's avatars in the forums also aren't working for me -- I get "/kiss.php was not found on this server". The scode kiss link works but not everyone has it in their posts/sigs.

Forgive me for asking this alot tonight but should I continue to wait it out or is there anything I need to do for my HA? I'm aware the fix for the wardrobe worked for some people but hasn't on others so not sure if I need to do anything before I go to bed early and see if it's resolved tomarrow. I tried clearing the cache twice but I'm afraid of doing anything else as it might effect my strain.

I just pushed out a fix, resolving the green infection. If you chose green (or don't see anything on your avatar), go to the wardrobe and save your avatar, and then check it out on the site.

Was able to remove my strand, but it says I'm a zombie when I try to get it again. 😔

I'm another one who never got infected, removed mine as mentioned above and now it says I'm a zombie and can't be infected. I'll come back maybe in the morning and see what is what. But if someone can ping me if there's somewhere where it talks about this, that'd be awesome.

Oops! An error occurred: You are already a zombie! but... I don't have a zombie skin on & I can't restart as it considers me not signed up :(

I appreciate all the hard work that's been done, would be great if I could eventually sign up but I understand it may take some time to resolve.

I’m so confused: I removed my earlier no-wait 2019 virus that wasn’t progressing and did the same again. I appear to be infected now, but on the forum it doesn’t say I’m infected, but it has one of this no biting thingies. Hopefully everything is ok?

I have a question!! I chose to go with the Hustler's random new strain, but I thought those were INSTANT? And even though the forums thinks I'm infected, the Healer does not???? Even the VIP page says I'm not infected yet??? IS HUSTLER BROKEN TOO?? I don't care about a measly 25k refund, I just want my effing strain. xD

I was in the same boat. Signed up quick with White. Never got my event. Canceled 3 times and I'm still glitched to the bone. I'm over it now tbh.

i have a very precise question i was probably one of the first people to choose a 2019 strain (yellow) BEFORE lag and issues started. my question is: IF IT HAS BEEN SAYING THIS: "You've still got some time to wait, but you will receive an event once you've received your chosen virus!" from the very beginning for me, does it mean i was not affected by the issue and therefore i do not need a redo? i just don't want to fix something if i ain't broken hahaha thank you!

VIP page indicates I'm not signed up, refuses to let me sign up because it thinks I'm wearing a zombie skin but my HA proves I'm not. There's a disconnect between no skin being worn and VIP understanding no skin is on.

No option to "cancel"

With the site glitches, it might not show but make sure you are infected and not ready to be bitten or no bite, which are issues at the moment.

As frustrating as it is to deal with, its very comforting knowing the staff of this website actively communicates with their user base and the tech people are hot on the case of all the things going wrong. Thanks for the hard work, guys.
