SURVIVAL: kisses breaking everything

I know, I know. It’s not a Subeta holiday unless something breaks or the site lags. It wasn’t our intention to have literally everything die on us at once, but hey. It happens?

A little background information for those just tuning in for Survival. There was an issue where if you kissed someone, your strain (vial or whatever you chose from VIP) disappeared! :( got a fix for it done so fast, you wouldn’t believe, but the site just wouldn’t take it. No matter how many times we redeployed, the site just refused. I’ve worked with and and finally, four hours later, the site itself should be running smoothly now. It’s only taken our blood, sweat, and tears, but it’s worth it for y’all to bite and kiss each other to become zombies and eat candy.

If you purchased a strain earlier and had it removed due to a kiss, file a ticket! UA’s will reimburse you. <3

We're still looking/working into everything else going on, but wanted to update you a bit!

Can't remove my 'maybe not here' strain because the page will simply not load or move at all. Things are broken too. I just give up.

In the boat of saying I'm infected in the forums but not in VIP but not being able to remove it. It was telling me my strain was fully progressed before but now nothing.

Thank you for working so diligently, though, staff! It is much appreciated, and I can't wait for Survival to be fully operational. Even with glitches it's already a blast <3

I tried removing mine but nothing happens, no page refresh or anything. Seems like the button is broken? I go to the page and it says I'm infected and to wait until I get a notification about my virus. I tried clearing cache and trying again, same issue.

Tried to reset my strain to see if it works, but the "I've changed my mind" button doesn't work

Sadly it won't let me opt out and try again the button doesn't do anything and the page won't refresh.

I removed mine and reset, it says I'm infected now, but I'm not sure with which one, it won't let me remove it and reset for some reason?

It says that I'm infected on the forums but when I go to the VIP I get the message "Thanks for participating in the Volunteer Infection Program! You've still got some time to wait, but you will receive an event once you've received your chosen virus!"

I went and cleared my HA to make sure I wasn't wearing a skin.

I don't know if I'm infected or not... The forums say that I am, but VIP says I still have to wait. And I haven't gotten any events about getting a strain...

I know it sounds silly but I got so nostalgic for early days and the first Survival and all the times the site has gone down and I just appreciate the work all of the staff put into this site and all of the love! <3 Thank you and everyone involved in keeping Subeta one of the most fun, engaging and exciting games I've played.

Are you infected or can be bitten? An infection will only start showing once "infected". Being bitten will reduce time considerably

The wardrobe IS saving... points to my naked human HA (eek!) but there's a disconnect between no skin being worn and VIP understanding no skin is on. I can't cancel VIP, it refuses to let me sign up saying I already am a zombie and streaking naked confirming I am not... someone grab a towel :o

I've paid for the new 2019 strain and it has been a few hours already without any notification. Decided to cancel and try again ... Hopefully it works. Sucks to be behind tho.

Love you guys for all your hard work. I am an older player who hates violent games. I go in for surgery on Monday (hip replacement) and once again, Subeta gives me a place to hide, forget and just have a moment of fun. Just so you know that while it is a game, for some of us it is a much needed respite from the real world. So again, really, thank you many times over for keeping this site going even with all those cute little bugs running around!

Okay, so I cancelled it. And resigned up for random. Took my money but now I'm not getting the message that I"m signed up and will notified when I'm infected. And I tried again and same thing. Mostly don't care about the sP as it's minor but the time wasted and I still don't know when it will work or how many times I'm going to have to sign up to get it to.

I also don't think my events are updating properly when I hover over the "Thank you for using the Volunteer Infection Program! You have been matched with an Infection Specialist, now you just need to sit back and enjoy the ride..." event it says less than a minute ago over it but it's been a lot longer

I originally signed up for the instant option and was stuck waiting forever. I decided to just cancel and resign up rather than wait for a solution or make a ticket, I didn't want to waste any more precious virus time that I had to. This time it seems to have gone through instantly, though!

Forums still won't work for me though :(
