Items to do with moving on from this year and hoping that next year is better. Like the "please don't suck" sticker from 2017.

Books about recording events that happened, or about good things that have happened (I think we might have had a similar item before but another one wouldn't hurt), or about people with jobs that need more appreciation.

Items that reference popular media from this year.

Some more time-related items, and things to do with waiting and patience.

These are just some random ideas I have.

Since there is still a bit of a drought of ideas here let me brainstorm some.

-Some of those halo background wearables like with exploding fireworks as the halo xXxX

-Increasingly fireworks displays are replaced with drone lightshows x, maybe a nice inspiration for one or more minions

• Since, well you know how this year is going I think it might be nice if new years maybe leaned a bit into self care. maybe giftsets with selfcare related things (a bath giftset with bathbombs, facemasks and candles, a set of really nice socks, a set of brand new books, a brand new blanket, a tea taster pack)

-Some stuff based around hope for the future: a diary with wishes for the future, a book of positive predictions (horoscopes?) for the future, a picture album with space for future happy memories.

-Some sticker ideas based on the last year: The darkest timeline (maybe with a the lightest/best/dankest timeline sticker to balance it out)

-these fireworks patterns are nice for pretty much anything (clothes, plushies, mugs etc.) xXxX

I'd love to see some firework halos if possible! Same with a Clock, Stars, and maybe even some balloons for a cute effect.

Posed sweaters or pajama tops holding coffee or champagne or some kind of friendly drink. Or even just a teddy bear/stuffed animal.

Please no "2020 was terrible" items. Focusing on positives is good, but I'd rather have hopeful future items like Anoniemmus suggested.

Anyway, I would love to see things like Bread Making Kits and other craft making items, as we all attempted to do these things in the last 12 months.

I dunno that there's a drought of ideas, so much as there's really good ideas in the 2020 thread and the celebrate the new year right thread already.

I have been thinking about how most new items in Subeta are r175 so they are holiday related. We don't have a summer holiday. The new year it is summer in half of the world though. How about some summer dresses that are not related to anything beergarden/vegetarian? There can be different flavors of halo halo, anmitsu, and shaved ice foods.

I think it would be cute to have a totally odd theme this year- something like baking or completely weird. Costume party? People dressing as food? More mixed drinks! More glitter items that add sparkle or gradients :) Maybe some rowdy minions wearing party hats?

A postbox costume.

More wearable bottles and cans, both in the hand and on the floor.

Items that make you look drunk - wobbly smiles, uneven 'sozzled' eyes, unsteady legs.

A guide to throwing parties for small groups. Or parties for one.

Firework backgrounds that work with the window items like the paint swatches and shutter boards.

Seconding the balloon halo idea! That sounds adorable.

I'd like to see some new balloons released since we haven't had any in a while. There are a lot of older balloons for past new years, and I miss having them! Balloons could be themed to fit some of the other suggestions. (Or maybe a balloon-animal-making kit as one of the crafting kits? OR a balloon minion with a cute happy smile and a party hat. We can always use more object minions! Also, a balloon head replacement to go with 's ideas.)
