It's so exciting that we got a new one fairly soon after the last one, though!

I go back and forth between the two, it depends on where the event link takes me hahaha I still need a lot of forum points too and no I don't think you get them on kumos.

Ohhh btw - I filed my taxes today. I was happily surprised. Confused too. But eh. No printer ink right now so can't print it off and compare it easier. I get lost looking between the computer and a paper, but if I have two papers I can look back and forth easier for some reason.

I tried to get Nathan to come file his, but he didn't want to. I told him he HAS to, but as long as he does it before April 15. I have a feeling he's going to owe, but then again, who knows!! They didn't take any taxes out on him really, at all.

Booo for Nathan. And me. I'm still upset LOL. We made $70k between the two of us and paid a LOT in taxes how can I possibly owe ugh.

Yes. I was QUITE THRILLED. And it was already accepted!! I efiled like around 430 and by 530 I had got an acceptance text and email from federal. Shockingly fast.

Oh! also my first observation was today. And today was chaos. So, like around 830 my professor comes in, I intro her to the kids, we carry on as usual. Around 845 our highschool student intern comes in. No big deal. We continue on as usual. About the time I'm done chatting with my professor and she's about to leave, the highschool teacher comes in to observe HER student for a few brief minutes and check in with my lead teacher....so there is a small bit of chaos there as people are in/out, because shortly after that the highschool students left too. AND THEN the vice-principal came in to do HER observation of the lead teacher - except she had really crappy timing because we weren't really doing any real learning activity. IT was supposed to be large group literacy, and my teacher for some reason decided to have them watch a book on epic (not a total bad choice, but the board was reading to them, not her). So the VP walks in, sits down, and my LT jumps up, pauses the video and starts talking to the kids about what just happened in the story eyeroll and THEN the VP gets a text or something and has to leave, less than 5mins after she walked in (and at this point, its like 10:20am)

CHAOS! :P But all in all, it really went well. The kids did so good, and my professor was impressed with them, and well, I'm not so sure she was impressed with my small group activity, but I DID NOT PLAN THAT ONE! :P Hopefully she was at least impressed with my whole group activity that I did plan, and the way I interacted with the kids while teaching small group.

That really is chaos!

Oh goodness.. I yelled at the health inspector today lol. I was disinfecting handles, etc between lunches (cold and flu season!) and saw jeans walking behind the second line and without looking up was like " what are you doing, you know you don't belong back there, shoo." Finished what I was doing, legs didn't move, looked up and.. yeah. Health inspector. I was like 'Whoops! Sorry, you belong there, you're good!" LOL.

Also, yesterday one of hte kids had a really bad allergic reaction and had to go to the hospital... boss was asking us if we had put like, chicken base in the rice of anything. No, turns out this teenager, who is allergic to chicken, ATE CLEARLY LABELLED BUFFALO CHICKEN EGG ROLLS.

Oh my goodness. I wonder if that was just a "I don't care, I'm eating it anyway" moment or a "I didn't realize it had chicken in it" idiotic moment :o

And sorry but hahahahahahaha for yelling at the health inspector. But you know what, surely, he/she was impressed that you were trying to make sure people who don't belong aren't where they don't belong!!

The second, he didn't realize it was chicken. Like.. buddy! What are you doingggg.

Everyone was laughing at me. I was laughing at me lol.

I also got to make 207 cookies this morning.. that was fun, though!

Goodness. Hopefully he is ok. Allergic reactions aren't fun. Hopefully he will also be more careful in the future!!

I am going to finish autopricing and then get off here. Not sure I will stick around and do Sarah, since she's been pretty wonky lately anyway. I'd need to spend all my onhand sP first anyhow....and I'm tired. I want to go read for a bit....

Tomorrow I MUST focus more on my college stuff again. I should have today but just didn't.

I got my legacy AND Kumos quests done.. though I didn't do ANY of the rumis quests, she was meannnnn today. All old free gifts and melody items :/

Good morning from Europe, all! Today I've taken off of work to go to the carnival. Looking forward to it, we'll meet up with my Mom and sister too. And I have earplugs on me because I know it'll be too loud for me.

Before we hit the road I managed to do my Kumos quests. Quit one for Rumi today, so doing pretty good. I'll do Shinwa while in the train and we'll see how far we get!

Oooh sounds like you'll have a fun day!! I don't like really loud places either, but usually am ok w/o earplugs myself, but good for you to use what you need!!

Edit: 645 am Done with kumos. Quit 2 Saggi and 2 Rumi. Pulled out extra chicken for dinner tonight (the chicken I pulled out last night wasn't thawed, but Shane is going to be home tonight, so yep. More chicken and I will cook that all together). I did banquet pot pies last night. Nathan said thats what he wanted. By the time they were cooked, he was sound asleep. It was almost funny. I did try to wake him up. Told him the pies were done. He mumbled in his sleep "So they are" and rolled over. I almost died laughing. I went and ate and left them on the stove for him. They're still there. Guess he never woke up and ate. I'm leaving him a note to clean up the kitchen today.

Almost time for work. Hopefully I can play subeta during naptime and get my legacy quests done :P See you all this afternoon.

Nathan's acknowledgment of the pies being done while clearly still asleep is indeed very funny! I think I've done that, answered people without properly waking up. "Do you remember saying this?" - "No..." is always interesting. At least I do not sleepwalk anymore, I've done it as a kid. Apparently one time I sleepwalked into the bathroom and brushed my teeth, all without waking up. No idea how thorough or useful that teeth cleaning was. And I wonder if I was dreaming about cleaning my teeth at the time? I suppose that wouldn't be surprising, I think most dreams are mundane, at least the ones my brain produces. I do know some people that talk about their dreams like they're epic tales, I usually don't remember what I dreamed!

I did have fun today, am dead on my feet now! The soles of my feet are hurting and I'm very tired. We didn't even do a ton of walking, but there was a lot of standing around, and apparently for that I do not have the stamina.

Well I got legacy quests down to library done (I start at the top and work my way down). Now I get to go pick up my oldest from the truck stop and then go home. And do college classwork. I need to work on stuff. I did post my discussion and two of the three responses last night at least

[edit] 435pm Ok ladies. Cross your fingers for me. I just emailed the two principals at other schools that I knew. I had heard rumors about one lady at one of those schools retiring, but I don't know if its true. I'd really like to work with someone I already knew. But, the application is in for the system regardless and I just hope I get a lead teacher position somewhere!! :P

(oops) I mean, Happy Early Valentines Day! Its chaos day. Party day. Parents in the building day. Cookies and candy and gifts and valentines. PLUS its the last day of school before a week long break. You would think 4-5 year olds would not understand that, but somehow they know and they get a little wilder. Each day this week has been a little more chaotic LOL

I played around with my HA last night to put together a character from a show. When I get on my PC later I'll share reference pictures, I showed it to my husband and was all pleased when he immediately knew which character I was going for! Did my legacy quests only so far today, and legacy feels a bit laggy currently. Not too bad though, it was much worse yesterday! Knock on wood so I don't jinx myself saying that.

Financial anxiety is hitting me today. I'm anxiously awaiting my paycheck which I can expect late next week or early the week after that... I don't like worrying like this but I am glad my husband is there to reassure me and I can share these worries with him.

Need to try focus on work some more, talk to you all later 💙
