Ahhh fair warning - legacy is going to be a royal pita within the next week. Events make the site go crazy. People come out of the woodwork, lagmonster arrives, so does general error (meaning, the site goes wonky, laggy and tons of error pages) For us old-timers, it would NOT be a subeta event without the lag. Survival is about to start. Its a love/zombie themed holiday. You can kiss people and collect candy hearts. You can get infected and watch yourself progress through a virus strain and become a zombie (you get to keep the skin in the wardrobe) - most people do this several times throughout the holiday as there is time for several skins to progress. You can buy items from L'Amour Parlor with the candy hearts, and you can buy zombie related items from Skitters for sP. (both shops are available year round, but candy hearts are only given out during survival and new items for both shops only come out during the holiday).

Went in at 6 this morning, ended up getting 2.5 hours in on our day off, which is nice, because.. yikes. I thought I was actually going to get a little ahead this week, but I was NOT expecting Alexs glasses to cost quite so much :/ So now back to my regularly scheduled worrying LOL.

Exciting Subeta news today, with the new wild color! I'm awaiting ancient felines. I do love that Subeta has at least four different kinds of cats (Feli, Tigrean, Archan, Celinox), even five if I count the Clawison... and the scottish highland-looking Bovyne is adorable! Oh, I wonder what a wild Jollin would look like?

Made it through the workday somehow (it was a struggle this Friday but I made it in the end, whew), went on a nice long walk with the husband, then home I got to vacuum and use the steam cleaner on carpet and couch. FINALLY. Been meaning to do that since last Sunday! Better late than never!

The event coming sounds interesting, I appreciate the lag warning! I will prep myself mentally. I have discovered Skitters' shop and spent quite a bit of sP there already, going to be nice to finally get some currency for L'Amour Parlor. I'm not super big on zombies, but as long as they don't move I'll be fine :D I generally avoid movies and video games that include zombies! I'm not big on horror in general, but the mix of love festival and zombies is definitely interesting.

Haven't done my Kumos quests still! Whoops! I've also tried checking in on Blackheart Hollow a few times today (I've never yet seen it restock, read it only happens twice a day), but after I've been thrown out I forgot about checking again. Seems difficult to stay on top of that one.

Blackheart Hollow is a PAIN. I have managed to get quite a few restocks there, but they are SO RANDOM. I need to check on that achievement and see how many more buys I need. I know I will always need items from there :/ They are so rare.

Berry is a cute nickname :) We ask because Mieke is actually a shortened version of her real name, and so is Kat for me. whatevermaycome is Beth. Evilredduckie is still evilredduckie hahaha if she's ever said another name I don't remember it. We're happy to call you whatever you wish! :)

We haven't had a new color in a while! The wild ones do seem interesting. I love the velosotor lol But I am random with my pets, never know what I pick.

And not everyone likes zombies, thats ok. But some of the strains are really interesting, the end result as well as the development stages :) I've started collecting all the different skins, even though I never wear them :P

why did you have to go in on your day off? Chaos day went pretty well. There was a lot of "when is it party time?" and "When do we get our bags/treats?"

How is school going, Kat and Mieke? I hope you had a better day than the observation day was for ya, Kat! Not that you messed up, but just that it was "Murphy's Law" hitting you (with anything that can go wrong going wrong, since you were doing a video that day)

We went in to set up coffee and donuts, and put the order away :) And we got some cleaning done that we wanted to do too, so that was very exciting haha. And.. most importantly.. to get paid a bit :P

and yeah, I'm in the real name club here.. but I like it, makes things much easier for me haha. Oooooh neopets. I just found some of my little McDonalds plushies the other day and put them in my office. I think I got rid of pretty much everything else I ever had, though!

A walk sounds so nice! I did stand outside in the sunshine for a good 5 minutes today.. still cold (only 21 as a high), but less windy and the SUN was out! So.. that was very exciting haha.

Then Lily went babysitting (she and Adam went out for dinner first), and El came and picked Iz up and the two of them met with Akira and went grocery shopping and out for dinner, too.

Alex and I had green beans (omg they were INCREDIBLE.. best thing we ate, which is sad because everything was really good but guys.. those green beans! And the onions and garlic ofc. I don't know what it was about htem but yummm), and crab legs and salt potatoes. I had bought two packs of crab legs for our anniversary but we only ate one, so I figured today was a good day for the other one :P And I made a chocolate and Guinness cake when I got home from taking my friend for her nail appointment. Went to the grocery store while she was in there and picked up the sour cream I needed for the darned cake.

Now to wait for my children to get home and just.. crash and go to sleep. And hope tomorrow is the day my throat really is finished hurting.

Neopets McDonalds plushies - hahahah I have a few still floating around the treasure box at school. I put them all in there about 2-3 years ago. The kids slowly pick them out.

Beth - the observation day wasn't too bad honestly, just a bit chaotic there for a while with everyone!! And it was my lead teacher doing the video and HER observation by the Vice Principal so that part didn't involve me at all anyway lol That observation didn't even end up happening, because not even 2-3mins in the room and she (the VP) had to leave to deal with something else anyway. School is good - I just typed up my reflection and made some sort of graph that I hope is acceptable (not sure why I had to make a graph, but it said to do a graph with your data results and then answer the reflection questions based on the data....) Anyway. I feel that is ready to turn in. That last bit might not be quite enough detail, but enough to get a passing grade I'm sure :P Next I have to do two assignments for my other class before Sunday and this upcoming week while on break - I plan to do a LOT of the big project stuff.

Speaking of kids. I think I pissed Shane off a bit but Oops. Misunderstanding more than anything. So I asked Nathan before he left what he wanted for dinner (like I always do if I didn't thaw something out) and we decided on tacos. I walked by and asked Shane "Nathan wants tacos for dinner, you good with that?" AND I SWEAR - his response was "I"m not going to be home tonight" - which I took as a I'm not eating dinner here response. SO I did NOT fix enough for him, did NOT call him out when it was ready. HE walks out as I'm finishing eating and says "what, you weren't going to tell me dinner was done?" and I was like, you said you weren't eating dinner here? "No I said I WAS eating here...." He claims he said "OK thats fine" when I asked him about dinner. Ehhhhhh oh well. Sorry kid.

Very cute image - I like the idea of friendship day. I usually get my kids something if they are here - most of my valentines come from my little kiddos and their families. I got the cutest card, some chocolates, and a very neat glass candy jar with a balloon attached. And some random kiddy valentine cards as usual lol Oh yes, plus more CFA gift cards for meals from that one family. Yum! (At Christmas, I got FOUR CFA gift cards for various items, for Valentines I got two cards - Dad is a manager at CFA and can easily give cards. They also brought a CFA nugget tray for the party).

Mieke I loooove green beans. Now I am craving them! :D Happy to hear you enjoyed yours! I think there's only two rules with green beans: don't undersalt and don't overcook. Tasty guaranteed! Mmmh. Looked up green bean items just for fun...

That account WOULD be ancient at this point (30 years if I did join at 13), but I think I didn't log in for long enough it got deleted. I vaguely remember once having gotten an email about it...

Kat, a misunderstanding like that is for sure unfortunate, but it happens! I have misheard questions before and answered them incorrectly and that had people upset at me too. Not much you can do about it, I think it's an apology and moving on. Having been taco-less is a bit sad for Nathan, but I'm sure he'll get over it! I'm sure he gets that it wasn't done on purpose.

It's Saturday, I have slept in. Got up normally to feed the cat, told my husband I'm tired, he said I should go back to bed then, so I did. And knocked out until lunchtime! Ope! I'm admittedly struggling a little bit getting my sleep schedule into order. That's also such a teenage problem to have in my 30ies. You'd think some things like that you grow out of, but apparently not!

Finished Legacy quests, working my way through Kumos. Quit one so far for Alexander.

Oh Nathan had tacos. It was Shane - my oldest, who is home for the weekend who didn't get tacos :P (I have 3 kids, oldest is Shane, middle is Katie, Nathan is youngest and he's the one who lives with me still - Shane is a truck driver and stops in every couple of weekends or so).

I did my legacy quests first today, since I spent all my onhand sP so I could do Sarah. Then I went to walmart, came home and unloaded, put the cold things away and unpacked everything else onto the counter and yeah, thats it. I need to go put the rest of it into the cabinets hahaha but I bought myself some roses and put them in a vase and brought them back here to my desk and yep. Now I'm on the computer instead of putting groceries away.

940 am Ok - finished kumos and shock of all shocks - I did not have to quit a single quest!! :o GO ME! Now go me to go do some college classwork. Bleh. Need to get those two things done tho. See you later (I still have to do battle and drills and price my shops later so I WILL be back!)

Yeah, I spent just a LITTLE time testing out the new slots and was like oh no, this is actually engaging, that's dangerous if I wanna keep any sP! Still fun though :D which is good, the old slots I feel are boring.

And it's so true, the sP is easily gained, easily lost. I always like hoarding game currency because of exactly the same reason - no anxiety around THAT vs real money. So nice to just have millions by just engaging with games and quests.

Speaking of sP though, I did slip up today. Wasn't paying attention and spent four million doing a Saggi quest. Oops! But good that it's only sP I lost, I only cringed at it a little and then moved on. That definitely taught me it's not good trying to do quests super fast on Kumos!

I like the new slots too, except there is no chance at the jackpot unless you bid more sp? I LOVE that it tracks how much you've spent vs how much you earn....I've always wondered HOW MUCH I LOST at slots :P Winning the jackpot or getting the slots coins usually makes up for it (on legacy).

I do Sarah to get the extra quest points. I learned that if I leave my sP in the shop till, don't have ANY in the vault, and spend my onhand sP down to below 1mil, I can do Sarah every day. I know that I earn more than enough sP to get to do Saggi after (or I do him before I spent my onhand sP). I have so many books I still need to buy from the quest shops. I am awaiting the update on what they are doing with that - the only thing they've done so far is stop adding things to it, but it sounded to me like they were going to quit doing quest points and change the items over to sP to purchase or something. Who knows. Also I did Sarah to get the achievements. You know me and my achievements. :P

I am my own Valentine. Thus buying myself roses LOL I got Nathan some slim jims and a heart box of chocolates. He was supposed to get the card I bought and used in my mystery box activity for my lesson plan 1 for college, but I left it at school. Ooops. There is also a box of chocolates in there and a box of candy hearts - those were supposed to be his too. I was able to gift him the box of chocolates because one of my kids got me the same one and THAT one got brought home. (So now the box at school is mine) LOL

I have sooooo many expensive things to buy, and sometimes I just buy books to spend my sP if I don't have enough to buy 1 or 2 expensive things. By doing Sarah first one day, and then last the next day, I can have more onhand before I spend it all :P
