What We Expect of Our Members

We hope our members will be active and participate within the group (and we have several ways to participate: KS forums, Discord chat and this thread!) when they are active on the site. If you cannot be active on the site due to whatever reason just let us know, that way we don't think you've forgotten us! And that is it! (Aside from following all Subeta and Group Rules 😉 ) We are what our members make us, and we have something for everyone (if we don't we'll make it if our members ask for it!).

Our much beloved friend and co-owner Innerflame passed away on August 1, 2013. We would not be a group at all without all of the dedication she put into building our community. She was a kind and beautiful soul and we will miss her greatly ❤

If you wish to speak to any of us, feel free to ping us here, or use our Staff Ping group and whoever is online at the time will be happy to answer any questions you have. Also, all of our members may take up leadership roles as needed to help run games or give their input into what we do. Kindred Spirits is always accepting age 18+ players who are already involved in other groups - specific focus or general/social. The main thing is that when you join KS you spend some time with us, because if you're going to join and spend no time getting to know us or playing/chatting with us, there is no point in being a member.

Just got back from seeing Final Destination Bloodlines. The movie is way better than it has any right to be XD

Tony Todd's final scene is sad as his final lines are about how he's fine with dying as he's happy with his life. This was his final film.

I haven't seen Bloodlines yet, but I want to. So awful Tony Todd died of stomach cancer. All cancers are horrible, but this one just strikes me as being worse than most. RIP Tony Todd. Fine actor - so interesting in Final Destination franchise and his performance in Candyman just gave me chills.

Tony Todd was able to choose his final words in the movie. So it's nice that he was allowed to speak to his fans.

I look up the trivia on IMDB after watching a movie in theaters. Actually start reading the trivia during the credits.

It is now ungodly hot here and when you add in the humidity, it is what I like to call, our "indoor" season. Don't be fooled, normally that's an all year kind of thing since the sun hates me but it's equally worse during our hot season. I would love to move if I could afford it :(

OMG I hate summer here - its most of the freaking year too. Right now its hot and humid too, but hopefully it will actually rain and cool it off...

Yeah, Final Destination is not a series for everyone and I can understand why. It relishes in the kills in a way that is intense and some people don't find enjoyment in that.

My hubby hates the series with the same intensity I love it XD

Oh i thought you guys where gone, found the new thread!

Well nurses day at work was bad, there was nothing for us! No cake, decorations, thank you, etc. Such a bummer, i asked about it and the answer was you had something in your mail last week. We got a giftcard to pick out 2 magazines.... wow.. I felt so much apreciated... not!!

Worked monday and friday and had school on thursday. Last stretch for school and will be busy 2 months before i (hopefuly) graduate on july 10th.

Had a postcrossing meeting yesterday on the otherside of the country... I live in Zwolle and it was in Dordrecht and no direct train. 2,5 hours to it and 3 hours back (took a dinner break as i was hungry. But we went to an alpaca farm for the meeting, we got to see them, feed tem, pet them and take pics. Did where not into the cuddles but i don;t mind. I had my alpaca fix lol!

Later on today lunch with friends! ANd i have monday off to, what a luck! Been such lovely weather here, but over 1 month no rain and mother nature would like some here.

I totally get that :( We have behind in rain totals here too so the drought isn't helping :( Hope you find some relief soon.

Alpacas are awesome ❤ Sounds like a fun time! Hope you enjoy your time off :) I've been addicted to wombat videos recently (it helps cheer me up). Animals are the best.

Sorry about your work. Nurses rock and deserve so much. My leadership do the same thing here to our medical staff. I work in pharmacy and I can't remember a time where they actually seemed to care. I hate just being a number here :(

Tony Todd's most iconic role is of Candyman in the series of the same name. He's also popped up in more than a few horror movies.

In the Final Destination series, Todd plays an enigmatic cornier called Bludworth.

He was really good in The Rock with Nicholas Cage and Sean Connery. I hated his character. So I know he was good. lol

I haven't seen that movie. I know, it's a crime.

In my defense it's on my VERY LONG to watch list.

Its really good. and very old. There are some funny scenes too. I have a long list of movies to watch too. Just added Bloodlines to it. lol

it was awsome and they are just so darn cute. I just don't understand why staff is not apreciated as we do so much... If we ever go on strike no one would notice until the kitchen and coffee staff comes at 9am ish. But our poor residents we can't do that.

Guess who was up at 6am and could not sleep anymore on her day off.... me! Changed the cat water fountain, washed my bedding and made my bed with fresh linnen, put away the dry washings, washing machine is washing load 3, had breakfast, had a shower and now i am here. Still need to visit the supermarket and get my nails done and it's not even 10:30am...

It's unfortunate they think you and your fellow nurses can go unnoticed. As a patient myself, I know I would definitely miss you all! :( Sounds like a productive day off. Atleast knocking out the few things in the morning, hopefully you can relax the rest of your day off. ❤

it is a shame...

I had a productive day, did take a nap around 1-ish. And had my nails done at 4pm, with nailpolish, skin color so hope the boss wont notice as it's a no no. But i am seeing loads more co-workers with nail polish. Just had dinner and now waithing for the last wash load in the machine.

Back to work tomorrow

- You are a busy beaver today. I'm glad you had a good day off. Why aren't you allowed to paint your nails? Nurses are allowed to over here, any color they want. I've also had nurses paint my nails. They were a lovely purple color, like grapes. :D
