I'm so sorry you're doing poorly. I hope you're both starting to feel better!

I'm so sorry your baby isn't doing well. Any improvements?

(using group ping because there are so many wonderful people and I don't want to miss anyone!)

Hello! waves I hope everyone is doing well!

I'm doing better (made some changes to my medication) but this past week in particular has been a bit rough. Not nearly as bad as it has been in the past! My PDA (pathological demand avoidance) is KILLING me lately. Meeting with my psy soon to talk more about my medication plan, and I'm looking at a new therapist with hopes of doing both EMDR and talk therapy. I'm also looking into an ADHD coach to help me with my PDA. Just need to actually sit down and pick doctors who are covered by our new insurance.

At the 'ol homestead we're looking at getting some tree work done and some fence work done. Trees will cost around 5k, same with the fence (if we do it ourselves or have the company do patching vs replacement - full replacement would be 8k - 10k through a company). We'll have to split things up and figure out how to get the funds, but it will be very relieving to feel like things are fixed and secured! We're also getting the flooded area (from the hurricanes) finally repaired! Yay!

I am about to finally have a little lull (aka two days "off) from work after no days off (except those that ended up being allocated to my MIL's loss) since March 5th. I have my two wolfdog fosters (who may become foster fails if I'm lucky) but I'll have no dogs here for work and no work out of the house. Just have to get my computer work done before then so I can actually not work AT ALL for those two days!

My friend who has a rescue is fostering four wolf dog puppies and omg are they cuties! Photo & Photo

How is everyone doing IRL and Subeta-wise? Any fun changes or recently accomplished things on-site? Anything nice happening irl? Who needs prayers and positive thoughts? <3

Well, my youngest turned 21 on Monday and his birthday plans turned into a big ball of fail due to no communication. He just assumed that we would be able to get a cab to go out with no problem, like always, so he didn't think to tell us of his more detailed plans until the day of his birthday. facepalm He should have relaized that, because his birthday feell on the holiday this year that things would be tricky. We gave it the old Harvard try though and called 2 cab companies to come pick us up. No dice. One was closing for the day in 30 minutes and the other wouldn't pick us up as we were outside their service boundry. So, my lovely 21 year old didn't get to go to Guitar Center to peruse their wares, nor did he get to go to the Park Lane pub and enjoy his first brew with his doddering parents. Instead, we're doing that this coming weekend when we know there are no holidays and we can get a cab. Lesson learned all around. I was upset that we disappointed him but, in his credit, he didn't even complain once, but took it all as it came and suggested we get dinner delivered from an Italian deli we all like. I was so proud of how he handled the situation. Aside from that, nothing much is happening here, which is exactly how I love it. :D

- I'm so relieved that you got Meez completely checked out and that there is nothing really bad lurking. I'm sure this specialist will be able to recommend what to do next based on how Meez's uriine tests. Hugs I'm also glad that you had your appointment with your classmate and worked out the details of your project. I wish you good luck for June 5th as I'd be a bundle of nerves if I had to give a project in front of the whole class. XXD

- I'm going to read it in a moment. Thanks for the link. :D You really are a writing machine, I'm jealous. :D

- oh, ouch, those migraines sound absolutely awful. I hope you're able to get some relief. :)

- Welcome! I'm an avid reader and am currently reading Onyx Storm by Rebecca Yarrow. I don't usually read smut books but the series is actually really good. I usually go for military fantasy, mystery, sci-fi, and well, anything I can get as an audio book really. lol :D

- I'm doing wonderfully. I don't think I've felt this good in years. :D

- You have been busy! I have no idea what your mental health acronyms mean but it doesn't sound fun. Oh, I wish I were closer to you as I would take one of those wolfhound pups off your hands. My hubby loves them. Sending much strength and peace your way. :D

I think I got everyone, if not, I apologize. :*

Oh, that is so true! Its either something new - which is scary - or something you already had getting more insistent. And if everything is (unnaturally) quiet, you really can't enjoy it because that is prob a new symptom of something else... lol

Hey you - are you ok?

At least you'll be able to celebrate his birthday :)

Even if the day of was all messed up.

Thanks for reading my fic :)

There are going to be two other parts in the series but none end on a cliffhanger. So the story of this one will be wrapped up by the final chapter.

When I started writing the fic I didn't plan for a series. But then there were things I had to abandon but still wanted to play around with so decided on a Part 2. Then I found a Part 3 would cover everything else I wanted to so decided not to plan for any more in the series.

It was either good mental health or writing. You can't have both.

Thank you! I'm so ready for some real time off. Once we get a few projects here done the day-to-day will feel a lot easier (thank God).

Aren't they adorable? If I didn't have my two fosters I'd be sorely tempted to adopt one. But if I adopt anyone it would be my fosters, they need me and we're already bonded <3

What wonderful character your 21 year old has to handle that so well! I'm glad you were able to salvage the day with a nice dinner and that you get to go out this weekend to celebrate!

Oh I do too! I would love to have one of the pups end up in such wonderful hands! I'm so glad to hear you're doing well too, that's fantastic!!!

Hi! You snuck in on me. Sorry your son's day didn't go as planned, but he is so awesome to take it that well, esp being his 21st birthday. Great to celebrate this weekend tho. We have often changed the day to celebrate something to make it easier for everyone.

Hi everyone. My son BBQ'd a brisket for Monday and it was really nice because my brother was off and able to join us with two of our friends. I really enjoyed the meal and the company. :)

- I love how the last chapter went. You did a really good job showing how tormented both Jash and Alex were over the result of the cliffhanger. :) I completely understand how one has to limit what they write about because too many story tangents are not a good thing. XD

- roflmao! I actually snuck up on someone, finally. :P 😆 I'm doing well, just sucked into NCIS and a book called The Onyx Storm by Rebecca Yarros. I'm probably going to be scarcer because I just bought the last 5 Temperance Brennan (Bones) books and can't wait to read them. :) As for my son, he really made me proud. Another thing that made me proud... I didn't even cry because it was his birthday. I did sniffle a bit and got teary eyed, though. Can't win all the time. 😂

Are you able to get any government help for the hurricane damage or is it all going through you insurance company? My sister-in-law lives in Fort Myers and she said the insurance companies are being a bi*ch to get any payments from. :D

This time we unfortunately are doing only insurance, no support from the government. But we are getting what we need to do the inside, just unfortunately not the outside stuff.

Ok so still hurting and numb so.. doing physical therapy and mental exercises until I get an appointment. It is a little better with that. Meds don’t work since it is nerve pain. Yay…

Audio books are so good for migraines. I can just lay there with my eyes closed and hear a story.

sorry your son didn’t preplan but glad you succeeded in celebrating.

glad your bbq went well.

getting meds balanced is hard.

OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I LOVE FOURTH WING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I just got a tattoo of Violet's dragon tattoo on my arm. I am obsessed with it. I got halfway through Onyx Storm and stopped when I found out Rebecca was taking the year off to spend with family instead of writing the next book. I understand entirely taking the year off for family, cause family is more important than writing a book, but I hate cliff hangers, especially if I have to wait for the next book to come out.

I also can not wait for Amazon to release the Fourth Wing TV show!!!!!!!!!! It is such a good series, and I really hope the year goes by fast so the next two books come out.

I have never posted a photo on here before, and do not know how to do it, but the link below is a picture of my Fourth Wing tattoo.

I understand that audiobooks can help when having a migraine. I used to get them when I was on Birth Control all the time, and they were horrible. I'm so glad I stopped taking them. I have tried listening to audiobooks since then and noticed I would start to space out and not listen to what I was hearing. Unless I have the book in front of me, following along, then I can listen, but if I try listening while doing housework or schoolwork, I'll zone out and miss things.

It is definitely a good read!

I hear Fireborne by Rosaria Munda is good, too. I have the first book but have not read it yet. It has kind of the same plot as Fourth Wing but is a little different, I hear.

I am getting Meez his results tomorrow (friday). So let's hope it's just a food thing.

Mees & Moos are dutch boys names so i turned the S into a Z. Also Mees is also a bird you call tthem in english tit (blue tit, etc). Dua, as she is a pure bread her litter had to start with a D. She was Dua i think named of ter the singer, i did not change it as i like the name. But i don't know the singer so i had to look her up... lol

Nightshift was busy! And hot! Was glad to go home and sleep, thursday now and still tired and sleepy. Back to work tomorrrow for 1 swingshift and then the weekend off, would loved it if i got tomorrow off to but no...

Presentation for school is next week, getting nervous here.

i am sorry his birthday was a bit of a mess, but you raised him well and he was a trooper of not complaining. The weekend will be better as you are better prepaired lol

glad the new meds are working, hope you found a good therapist and all will be better soon ❤

oh no! Hope the meds are working and you feel better. Good you went to the ER as those symptoms could have been a stroke or heart attact as we woman experiance it other then men.

For real lol. It's been a years-long process. They started me with an SSRI which makes sense, but I think based on where we are now I actually needed something that impacted dopamine and serotonin plus adhd meds. Excited to start therapy back up too!

Ohhh I haven't read Fourth Wing yet! I'm still finishing TOG lol I just listened to my first real audiobook during my recent drive across five states lol. It was a life-saver! I've been into the Harlen Coben books lately. He's a quick read for me and interesting, it's helping me shift back into "reading mode".

Fingers and toes crossed for Meez! Thank you!
