Nice to meet you! I mostly work with documents though, I don't work with patients anymore. My back can't handle all the patient lifting I did when I was in my 20s.

No recent ones. I think a few years back I binged Parasyte. I started to watch a live action show set in the same universe but never finished it. Just remembered I needed to finish that right now XD

Started to watch Fullmetal Alchemist on Netflix years ago. Stopped watching around "girldog" and when I decided to finish the series it was no longer on the streaming service. I saw random episodes when I was young on Toonomi (sp?) and decided to finally watch the whole series in order.

I'm not a big anime fan, but I've watched a little bit while on maternity leave (I have a 3-month-old right now!)... I just watched the apothecary diaries on Netflix :) I watched the first season of attack on Titan, but it took so long for the second season to come out that when I tried to watch it I couldn't remember what was going on from the first season lol

- Trust me, it wasn't easy at the time but now I look back on it fondly. I miss my kids but do get to xoom with them every once in a while, when they're aren't busy. I keep hoping for grandkids but they're all so involved in their careers that noone has time for kids. :/ Believe me, when your little ones are grown and flown from the nest you'll look back on the times that you were titty-locked and baby brained with nostaligia. :D

-ROFLMAO!!! I love the "Yep, it must be Texas" one with the bit of duct tape holding the road together. It's like that here in Virginia, too. 😆 Oh, please be careful of carbon monoxide build-up when running your ac like that. When we lived in Florida, our heat pump went bad and we didn't realize it. We had it turned to AC (obviously) and went on our way waiting for the repairman. We figured it would be ok because the fan was still running. When the repair man got there he cleared us out at once saying the house was full of carbon monoxide. Scared the heck out of me and we got carbon monoxide alarms that day. XD

- You should like Attack on Titan. It's one of the few I've watched and I like it a lot. :) I know you're not one of the nutty Floridians that wear trenchcoats in 100f degree weather. You're too wonderful a person to be like those loons. :*

- So, when you graduate, does that make you a Nurse Practioner? Or just a more educated nurse? You should frame your diploma! I framed mine and it's now a lovely reminder of what it was so difficult for me to accomplish. :D

Hello! Welcome to KS. Did you happen to watch Katseye about the new KPop girl group? I just finished it a couple days ago. I usually don't watch stuff like that, but somehow I got sucked in. lol I like some Anime. I don't like the extreme expression in a lot of it much. It gets on my nerves. I rewatch Blame! every now and then. Just finished Arcane again too. Really loved the animation in that one. Parasyte was interesting. Solo Leveling, Vinland Saga, The Last Airbender, Dimension W, and Castelvania were amazing and also favorites. Oh, and I Loved Death Note and all of Psycho-Pass. :)

I had to look that city up. I always wanted to visit British Columbia and Alberta. They just seem so beautiful. My favorite screensaver is Upper Arrow Lake. :)

I haven't watched anime in a good while because it's just not been on the list, but I am a fan and have a lot of appreciation for the talent behind it! My favorites growing up were Zoids and Monster Rancher. Oh, and Card Captor Sakura! But watched and read many more. I hope you enjoy the group!

Alberta is so beautiful, with the mountains and the rivers and streams. But the people have lots to answer for, Just not my type of people at all... B.C. on the other hand is large hills, a few mountains and many many many lakes and streams. The people are far and few between that I would hang out with but this is me, I guess I am not a peoplely person or a human hang out person. I prefer to hang out with my husband or my dog or cat then 99% of humans. XOXOX

I've heard of Katseye but I'm not really familiar with them. I recently got into kpop because of Le sserafim, and now BTS.. I don't really know their songs but their youtube series Run BTS is entertaining to watch. I've seen the first part of Arcane, haven't gotten to time to continue it yet. Avatar the last airbender is probably one of my most favorite.. very nostalgic as well.

I understand.. sometimes I have a burst of energy and talk a lot then I lie low for a few days to recharge. It's been a while since I heard Monster Rancher, that took me back, I love Card captor sakura when I was younger too

I had one hell of a migraine yesterday. Was able to do some blog work, write more of the next fic chapter, and did a dramatic reading. After that all I did of note was tuck the birds in.

Now I NEED to get a trenchcoat.

My local library where I grew up only had the first volume of the Parasyte manga. So it was nice watching the anime to get more of the story.

The girl and dog seem close. OMG! Not that close wtf, dude!

I knew the memes so I was prepared but by all the gods!

I have a T-shirt with a cat on it that says, 'Eww people!' and this is on my office door. lol I am fairly reclusive. It is very hard for me to be around crowds at all, and if you combine that with small spaces, it feels like they are using up my air. There really are only a few friends and some of my family left that I like being around. I have panic attacks, or did; not in a long time now tho. Our family has dwindled down and are mostly a distance apart, as well as have health issues, so its difficult to get together in the best of times. My ideal place to live would be some beautiful area with amazing views, great 4 season weather, good roads, the best internet connection, decent grocery stores close by, amazon delivery for everything else, and very few people.

I only read some manga, and that's been a long time. Don't even remember which. But I watch a lot of movies and TV. I was surprised I liked Parasyte. But it was quite interesting and I liked the back story and how the characters combined and evolved.

I am ill. Too hot. My body doesn’t like it in the 90s+. Curled up on the couch and listened to audio book. Went to crochet group at the library where it was nice and cool. Got my free book for participating in summer reading. I am making a snow spider for my nieces sixth birthday. She asked for it.

I have been known to say it is too peopley out.

I go with my family to both comic con and anime convention locally, also a library book art con. They are in town and not too big.

To me Parasyte is really interesting as it subverts the 'humans are special' trope seen in a lot of sci-fi. The parasytes are just as diverse as any human. So a human ends up being no worse or better than a parasyte.

oh man I remember that manga from back in like 1998 women it was in mixxzine! I'm such an old fart! Did they actually make an anime of it all these years later??? About shape shifting aliens and our main character gets one that is stuck in his hand?

I think Wikipedia says the anime came out in 2014?

My favorite book series ran from 1996-2001 so I'm not young either XD

The series is Animorphs and holds up really well. Except for the fact it's clearly sent in the 90s so makes me feel old at times XD
