I am relatively new to Subeta. My mom got me on it when I was young, but I never explored it, so if you have any pointers, I'm all ears! :)

Congrats on the baby! I bet they are so cute! I love kids, but have not found the right guy to have one with. I used to work at a daycare to settle my craving to have a child fresh out of high school, and it worked. I saw how difficult it can be to raise a child. The frustration that comes with the terrible 2s and 3s. I worked with infants to age 3, who are a handful. You need something to keep you sane. I'm glad Subeta helps you with that, and we are all here to help. When working at the daycare, I often read fantasy books during nap to recharge when they wake up. I miss working there sometimes. I miss the kids. They always made me smile when I had a bad mental health day.

- 4th wing isn't a reverse (or normal) harem. It's One girl meets One guy and they fall in love. No other love interests except exes, at laeast, there haven't been any up to the point I've read the last book. I'm about 2/3 through it. I ❤ your writing because it's based in video games. It ALLOWS ME TO EXPERIENCE THEM AGAIN. :) I'm off to read the next extallment. :D

- You really should pick up Nesta's story. It's, hands down, the best of the series.:) I'm very lucky to be alive right now and I know it. It's taught me a lot about facing your mortality and how fleeting, short life is. ;) Cheers to your phlebotomy training! :D

We had to turn the ac on because it was so darned hot here. :/ I'm so happy that Meez is ok and that all he needs is more of the special diet. - Welcome. None of my pets here are made of pets I've had irl. I'm like gryphongrl, it'd be too sad. My pets are mostly made for themselves but some of them are kmade after toons I've made in other games, fictional characters I find amusing, and one musician I adore. :D

Since I follow Alan Wake 2's story pretty closely, you won't be too lost if you ever play it. My big problem is I'm easily lost so have spent time getting lost. So lost O.O'

I haven't read Malazan Book of the Fallen but you say it has dragons? And the latest chapter of my fic reminds you of it?

i had a fun saturday. No ac here so all windows and doors open (no cats have escaped) and a cool shower. I am glad to Meez just needs a food change. Presentation is coming closer.

how on Earth do you survive without air conditioning? I live in North Carolina and I would probably die of heat stroke. Not joking

i live in europe and airco's where not a big of a thing until now. As the summers get hot more are coming. And they are noy standard build into houses

- 😆 Yes, it does on both accounts. I can't say much more because it will give away the plot and I don't want to spoil you if you decide to read it. Essentiall, Jash is faced with the same conundrum that a main character of the series is presented with. Oh, and the dragons morph into elves, both light and dark. Before yoou start thinking this is your typical fantasy, let me assure you that it is not. It throws you in the deep end and expects you to figure stuff out on your own from the first line. I love it, it's so darkly delicious in many ways.But only start it if you're willing to read ALL the books because you won't understand it if you don't. (There are more then 10 books in the series. :* )

I hate the heat and live in air conditioned splendor. I think I melt if the temp goes over 72f. I don't think I could survive in Europe with no ac. Yes, I'm a whiney baby when it comes to that. :P It's June 33 now. You only have 2 more days to go. You can do it. I'm going to be rooting for you on the 5th. :D

Dune is a large series so I don't mind reading a lot of books as long as the series is good :)

The Remedy Connected Universe gets really complicated once you get into it. While it provides enough information that you understand each game and feel for the characters, there is a lot that is unanswered. Like 'Who is Thomas Zane'?

In the first Alan Wake game you 'KNOW' he is a poet that got tangled up in the Dark Presence when his muse died and interacts with Alan as a diver called the Bright Presence.

But if you decide to examine the series under a microscope you find that it's entirely possible we have never met the real Thomas Zane. It's also entirely possible that Alan is a reincarnation of Thomas. But, again, all these really complicated parts of the series are things you can ignore when playing the games if you want to stay sane.

I just realized that I did not let you all know how my son's 21st birthday dinner went over the weekend. We went out on Saturday afternoon. First we (hubby, son, and me) went to Guitar Center so my son and hubby could drool over the various guitars they have. That took 2 hours. When they weere done there we went to the Park Lane Pub for his birthday dinner.I got the jagerschnitzel and it came with German potato salad. Oh, it was soooooo good. My sweet baby boy had a Guiness as his first drink and got tipsy from it about 1/2 way through it. As he finished the drink we found out thathe gets funny when he's tipsy. I'm so glad that he's a happy drunk (although he didn't get drunk, no really, as he only got 1 ddrink, but it was enough. 😆 ) We then went back home where his birthday gift was waiting for him. We surprised him with a brand new, customized, fender guitar. He lost it and sat down immediately and started playing. His first song was Jimi Hendrix's cover of "All along the Watchtower," which is my favorite song. I'll admit, I teared up a bit. I didn't actually cry, thoough, and I was proud of that. :D

My oldest is about to turn 7 and we are taking him to Great Wolf Lodge... A long weekend there is cheaper then throwing a normal kids birthday nowadays!

And my youngest turned 11 weeks yesterday :3 in revisiting subeta to keep me occupied during the prolonged nursing sessions hehe

You have little ones! Been decades for that for me. I never heard of the Great Wolf Lodge. Had to look that one up. We have one not too many miles away. It looks really nice - so its a hotel and a water park? With other activities. Sounds fun. :)

I don't know where to start to ask as I am unfamiliar with the series. Even asking how the choice the character series has to make is similar to Jash could just make me more confused. Like if someone asked what happened at the end of the Animorphs series but they didn't know anything about the series...they would just be confused.

And there's insane and whatever the heck it is I do with a hyperfixation. Like I know about a small ARG which plays a huge part in my theory about Thomas Zane. So far the games haven't contradicted or confirmed it so in Alan Wake 3 (or the next RCU game) all that research could go down the drain.

lol you big baby. AC's are not that big of a thing here and as europe is old and we have old homes most of us don't have one. But more ac's are coming as the summers are getting hotter and hotter. But not today, cloudy, rain and 17 degrees celcius.. i am cold! Ugh is the 5th over yet.. ok i can do it...

I live in the Southern United States, in the summer. It regularly gets to 77.7 c, if not higher! The South would have not been developed if it wasn't for air conditioning LOL

I think you mean 37.7c which equals 100f. 77.7c = 176f. lol I want your cold! Its going to be 80f=26.6c today, and that is amazing for summer. It will be in the 90's f for a couple weeks, but then it regularly gets 100f and over for months with a few 90's thrown in for our sanity... We pray for 80f! Ugh.

Hello everyone. Little update on me, meds and help are helping. Doing each day much better, sleeping less, headache is gone and the feeling i am not ok is going away and i am getting bored so that is a good sign. Been going to work since a few weeks once a week to 'drink coffee' and see how it goes, building that up with a 30 minutes at a time and when i am at 3 hours then i do 2 days then 2 days but low hours and building that up again.
