it does, i love my back. We now have a raizer lift. It's like a chair we put together when someone is down on the ground and then the machine sets them up like a chair. Love it!

Yeah, that is neat for nurses and caretakers to use! <3 Such a cool invention. But I just liked the 2nd one because I couldn't use the first one myself. Someone else would have to put it together around me and operate it.

what do you do for a living? Are you a CNA? I used to be an ultrasound tech, fortunately I worked outpatient so all my patients were ambulatory, but I had earn my CNA certification in order to get into ultrasound school, which included two weeks of clinicals in a nursing home, and those are the two hardest weeks of my life! A device like this would have been super helpful for patient comfort and function

Went to work today and do some work stuff, just 3 hours. Oh boy it was nice to do some work but i over did it... Need to lay down for a while. Next time, 2 hours and half the 'work' load.

- Oh, I wish they had that chair at the hospital when I was there. In fact, I wish I had it for when I fall at home (although, I haven't fallen at home in 11 months. knocks on wood ) That would make it so much easier for the poor nurses, CNAs, and Physical Therapists. I am curious as to why my local hospital doesn't have one of those as there are a lot of falls going on there and the hospital is almost always on the cutting edge of anything medical. :? - That's interesting, I'm very introverted in real life but worked as a medical secretary in a hospital's Cardiac Care unit. It was a lot of hard work but I really enjoyed it even though I had to deal with patients and their families and doctors all the time. :D

I love your HA, naughty is nice.... lol I don't think I could do that job hun as I pass out at the site of my own blood never mind other peoples... it is not a nice sight, my boss found this out about 3 months ago, she cut herself and I passed out on the cement floor, I got hurt and had to go to hospital with her, dumb and she got 2 stitches... I got a concussion from hitting the cement floor hard, so stupid but well like I said allergic to the sight of my own blood and others toooo

i can understand that, you need something you can use on your own. I love the raizer for us as it's easy, takes a wee while to set up but cost us no heavy lifting.

we have other names for nursing here, nuot sure what mine is called in england/usa. I am a nurse in elder care and i work in an nursing home. I am a nurse cetrified stage 3, meaning i can help our residents with care (wash, toilet, etc), meds, i can give meds with needles (like insuline, vitamin B injections, etc), do some special actions like a bladderscan, insert a bladder folley (m/f), clean and dress wounds. I can make new charts for residents and adjust them where needed, talk to the doc, family and other specialist.

This takes 3 years of learning at school and also during school years we have internships (20 weeks, each year) in all kinds places

Luckly i don't have any nightshifts planned this and next month and they are busy with august sheldue and if they planned me for nightshift then can remove it.

As i already been doing what i am going to school for ages. My co-worker and also school member asked for it, why we never been payed for it since we went to school and doing it. We use Glade plug-ins but they don't always have the scents I like. We tried one that was supposed to smell like a real pine Christmas tree. Instead it smelled like someone had cleaned out the house with industrial grade Lysol cleaner. Ugh. It was so stinky. 😂

Ugh lysol... the scentsy stuff is really great and smells great and i think you would like it. Pinecone or christmas tree smell like it suppose to be. I was not much good for my children when they were small but I tried hard not to pass out when they got hurt. except when my daughter passed out in Walmart and ended up with 9 stitches in the back of her head. When i seen her in the ambulance before they took to hospital, I did not help as i passed out in the ambulance , only for a few seconds but it made things difficult, but thank fully I had someone to drive me to hospital after the ambulance left....yeah no fun being this way, but I found out my dad was the same way and then his mom, (My grandma) was the same as us... I guess all things can run in the family....

that is awful! How did your kids handle that? It must have been scary for them having their mom pass out after they got hurt! Though nowadays it probably makes a like story for them! But I know that mom guilt is intense! :( ugh!

Yes it was very embarrassing too at times, my children knew mom had a issue with blood and it got better at times, which was good, every once in a while I feel light headed and off centered. I am just grateful that both my kids are not like I or my dad or grandma are.....
