What We Expect of Our Members

We expect our members to be active and participate within the group (and we have several ways to participate: KS forums, Discord chat and this thread!) when they are active on the site. If you cannot be active on the site due to whatever reason just let us know, that way we don't think you've forgotten us! And that is it! (Aside from following all Subeta and Group Rules 😉 ) We are what our members make us, and we have something for everyone (if we don't we'll make it if our members ask for it!).

Our much beloved friend and co-owner Innerflame passed away on August 1, 2013. We would not be a group at all without all of the dedication she put into building our community. She was a kind and beautiful soul and we will miss her greatly ❤

If you wish to speak to any of us, feel free to ping us here, or use our Staff Ping group and whoever is online at the time will be happy to answer any questions you have. Also, all of our members may take up leadership roles as needed to help run games or give their input into what we do. We're a democracy (mostly) not a dictatorship 😉 If we sound like the group for you please fill out this brief questionnaire (please remember to copy the ping group for our staff!) and hang around here for a little bit and chat with our current members 😄 As soon as a member of staff gets online we can send you an invite to the group!

Kindred Spirits is always accepting age 18+ players who are already involved in other groups - specific focus or general/social. The main thing is that when you join KS you spend some time with us, because if you're going to join and spend no time getting to know us or playing/chatting with us, there is no point in being a member.

Dear God, you scared the poo out of me. The tone was like shape up or ship out. I'm not here as much as I would like but I hope my infrequent forays suffice for a little bit. But then I realized it was just a new thread, right.? Been here 15 years and have too many Vesnali coins in my currency so I can help with specific items by year if anyone is interested.

lol No matter how hard I try to be a 'shape up or ship out' kinda person, it just ain't gonna take. Besides, I'd have to ship myself out first! xD

And yeah, just a new thread. They lowered the max posts in a thread during Masq (5k to 1k) so we hit the limit.

I'm currently trying to fill up my wardrobe and make a new avatar c:

Just want to add that today was a day to do good things. There is a senior day care 1 block down and then two more blocks from where I live that I called to ask if they would like a game & puzzle donation and the lady must have been very excited and probably could use new things for them to do because about 20 minutes later she arrived at my house with a young medical lady in scrubs to help her. It was so great to be able to give a part of me which is what these items have been for 50 years, there were 2 3000 and 2 2000 piece jigsaw puzzles and 1 that is circular and an illustration of the astrological heavens, also a back gammon game with case, trivial pursuit game also 50 years old, and monopoly. Saved the most recent game (25 years) for my friend David just knowing that he is from Michigan I thought he might like my colored dot dominoes that I got one of the last times I was in Maine before my father died. And when I offered it his eyes just popped, so it has been a very rewarding day!

Did a bunch of rearranging to get a broken window blind fixed and we ended up moving a sewing cabinet from my room to my mom's room. She will get use out of it since it went with her machine and I was just using it as a table for books.

Mornin' KSrs Hope everyones morning is going better than mine. Didn't feel good in the middle of the night. Better now. And woke up to google chrome being broken. Won't load a thing. Won't even load the page to disable add ons to see if they are the issue. Just why today? I was hoping to totally not think about anything today.

Thank you :) The previous KS board hit the post limit which is 1000 posts (used to be 5000 but was lowered around masquerade time). So I needed to start a new one and the opening post is always the about us and join information.

I'm just glad I have Vesnali coins left over from last year 'cause I've not had enough page loads to collect flowers this year so far. Was doing well with questing and then May happened and it all fell apart. And I need to check to see if there are any bouquets I still want.

That's awesome! My grandmother did puzzles all the time. We have piles of older puzzles. Mom and I have done them and most we won't do again and we have boxes of more modern ones that we won't do again either. Never though of senior center. What a good idea.

Thank you and a very Happy Birthday to you! When interested check google to see where to send puzzles for charity, there are lists and I wish I hadn't deleted the one I had just in case they didn't want them at the senior center.

I really think he was one of the best songwriters of all time and wrote some that are still my favorites today - like Blowing in the Wind. But I never liked his voice. Ever. lol

Apologies, been looking at so many profiles I erred in thinking it was your pet. Like you I love his writing but I must admit to growing accustomed to his voice.
