Been awake since before 4 am (fell asleep around midnight) because of a headache. Finally went away before dinner. Still not feeling great. Also been in a mood still so not been playing subeta much (other than in the wardrobe) or really anything else. My extra disinterest in things is hanging on longer than I thought it would.

I just broke down and signed up for paramount plus to get ready for it. Wasn't going to but they offered a month free (if I signed up by tomorrow) and I really want to watch the returning queens. Excited about most of them. Also I can finish watching Star Trek:Discovery which I didn't the last time I had a free month to what was CBS Access at the time.

Currently watching Drag Race Down Under which has been meh (lackluster lipsyncs and questionable production decisions) and am waiting to see what the translation is for DR Espana looks like. I had such a difficult time reading the closed captioned translations for DR Thailand and Holland that if they haven't improved it I'll likely give up on the non English versions.

Thanks! I made this HA for the Vesnali contest. I don't often wear yellow but I like certain shades of it. I'm usually in purples and blues. I just watched the Meet the Queens and Idk. Several got on my nerves in their seasons and I just couldn't wait to get rid of them, and here they are again... Oh well. Have to see.

Sorry I missed your post. Hope you feel better. I've had a lingering headache too. Blah. Where is DR Down Under showing? I haven't even heard of that one. I liked the Canadian one, but the Thailand was too much for me. But I love drag Race. :)

As far as I know it's only on WoW Presents Plus in the states. I never cancelled my sub because they went right from DR UK2 into Australia. UK2 was a really good season. Both UK seasons were good. I liked Canada too. Loved seeing Brooklyn as a cohost. I hope they all feel more comfortable for the second season of Canada so they don't seem so stiff. Well, except Jeffrey Bowyer Chapman. He's not returning for season 2.

Have slept a bit better. Been doing some stuff (though more procrastinating than anything naturally) to get ready to head to NJ. Dreading the drive. Once we're in the house it'll be fine hopefully. Though since we're looking to sell finally I think it will all be stress filled and emotional.

Hope everyone is doing okay with flowers and bouquets. Been feeling down for weeks and not been playing as much but thankfully I have more than enough coins from previous Vesnali. Sorry for not flowering y'all more.

yea i will probably just have to break down and buy it as well. I been watching whats on youtube for Drag Race Down Under and was curious if it was any good. So many DRs. I hope your headaches get better.

I'm not sure how i feel about them yet, I'm fairly new to drag racing and have been playing catch up. I like the queens that are funny and not quite full of drama. out of all the promo outfits i Like Jan's the best. Which one did you like?

Oh, I loved Jan's flame outfit best! Looking forward to seeing her, and I really liked Pandora Boxx from before too. I think she got a raw deal. Jiggly Caliente looks vastly improved, so I want to see what she's like now. Sonique is ok. Not sure about Scarlet Envy, Ginger Minj, or Jara Sofia. They were ok too I guess. Eureka, Ra'jah, Trinity, and Serena really got on my nerves before, so meh. And I just can't stand Silky. I really wish she wasn't on this. I remember the whole time I just kept wishing she would be gone already.

I hope your drive is safe and that it really is fine once you're in the house. I can see how that would be stressful and emotional but I hope the process goes as smoothly as it can for you.

Was supposed to be driving to NJ right this minute, but yesterday was just a mess. Prescriptions got messed up - mine wasn't ready even though I went in and spoke to the pharmacy in person last Friday specifically because I knew asking to renew my meds early would be a problem and not only were they not ready there was no record of them or me requesting them but thankfully they did fill them right then, I just had to wait for a bit - and then I got a text from cvs about my mom's saying her insurance wouldn't cover it and that happened around dinner (we were going to go pick it up after dinner) and that was about time the exasperation of the day (our errands with the meds and other stops took way longer than they should have) was too much and we postponed the drive until Monday. I think overall it was better we didn't try to go today.

I really like Jan's flame promo look. Loved Akeria's look too. She looks amazing. I think it's a good cast. Several I didn't care for on their seasons (serena, silky) a few I'm super happy to see (TKB, Jan, Ginger, Pandora).

I'm going to cancel my WOWPresentsPlus for now. Down Under is just so bad. At least I think it is. Stupidly and obviously pushing queens and stories that just don't seem to deserve it over queens that are fun to watch and are now already gone. Since all the seasons stay on the service I figure I can go back to watch Australia and Espana when I resub for season 3 of Drag Race UK or Season 2 of DR Canada. I just finished watching Season 2 of DR Thailand so I could finish that before I cancelled. Don't feel like I have to watch when everyone else is.

I saw you ranting about that drag racing show earlier. I'm getting vibes that it's like American Idol.....

I've heard so many friends/relatives state that the genuinely talented people are overlooked on that show. Doesn't help that 2nd place winners tend to become more famous than the actual winners on that show either......

I managed to finish all the new bouquets! I didn't think I'd do it; I thought it would take a couple of years. I guess interest in bouquet making has decreased compared to when it first became a thing on the site?

sorry your day was so rough. Where can I stream drag race since I have no vh1? I made it to season 11 on the original and now can't find it. Is it on wow plus?

So two days ago my mom got a nerve pull issue in her whole leg and can't stand up straight. Went to the doc and he said inflamed Sciatic nerve and she got medicine and exercise to do. I did a lot more driving than usual. She is getting better.

I don't believe you can watch seasons 11. 12 and 13 on anything but VH1. If you can it's not on anything I sub to. Amazon prime has them for purchase though. Twenty five dollars per season. Wow Presents Plus has the non US races - UK 1-2, Holland, Canada, Down Under, Thailand just season 2 and Espana Paramount Plus has Seasons 1-10 and All Stars 1-4 and will carry All Stars 6 when it starts at the end of June. Don't know if they will eventually get seasons 11, 12 and 13 or if they will stay only on VH1

It's less competition now than it is produced (over produced) drama with some drag thrown in. I still find it enjoyable to see the runways and the creativity. It's was attracted me in the first place, but especially since it moved to VH1 from Logo the production is just over done the nonsense. But I'm old, I don't give two fs about the "drama", I just want to learn about the girls, I think representation is important and if nothing else DR has been helpful for some gay young men, and I want to see the art - pagent queens, art queens, comedy queens, fashion queens, spooky queens. It's fun to see the creativity and the joy most of them have when they hit that stage. I wish the producers and Ru would care less about pushing the queens they think will give them the biggest ratings (money) and just let the queens do their things. /rant lol

I'm sorry you didn't have a good day, but I hope Monday has worked out better for you. I think I'm going to wait and see if maybe the new season will go on hulu eventually or something that i already have and just keep tabs on youtube. That sucks about the Down Under series, oh well. i agree with you about the over production and pushing of queens. I don't even bother with watching the untuck episodes. i love more of the episode like snatch game and other funny skits.

In NJ now. Long day yesterday. Left an hour later than we wanted, had traffic issues that slowed up the drive by about an hour. Didn't get to the house until 5 to 5:30pm or so. Then was more than an hour on the phone getting the internet modem working. By the time I get that all done, order a pizza, went to pick up something to drink and picked up the pizza we didn't get to eat until 9pm.

Just going to go out today to pick up some food to get us through the next day or so, will do main shopping on Thursday when there should be no rain. Expecting heavy rain this afternoon today and tomorrow, so I should get moving so we can get out and home.

Just got my new glasses prescription yesterday and they told me it might take a week for me to get used to it >.<

Ewww a week? That's a long time. Why is that? Mine are great as soon as I put them on.

I have no clue why they told me to wait a week. I've never had that brought up since I first got glasses. I got my first pair in sixth grade.

Yesterday the new pair started causing problems after I wore them over a few hours.
