Sorry you are feeling depressed . hugs Sorry too you had to go without meds for a bit. That's terrible to make someone suffer or possibly suffer. I can't seem to shake my blues yet. I am sure the rising covid numbers is not helping.
I do love all the makeups but I think my favorites are the watercolor pallettes.
Hope everything with your eyes goes perfect. hugs My mom has had many procedures on her eyes. She's so good about them. I'd be having anxiety attacks. She's had both eyes lasered a couple times. Had cataract surgery (think that is right) and she'll be having another one soon for some cloudyness she's having though I don't recall what exactly.
My goodness you've been and are going threw a lot! Sorry you've been having so many issues and that the doctors aren't doing enough! Hope you can get the hair loss figured out. Tell your body to stop inventing issues 'cause you've got enough to deal with! ❤

"Woe to those who make unjust laws, to those who issue oppressive decrees, to deprive the poor of their rights and withhold justice from the oppressed of my people, making widows their prey and robbing the orphan." - Isaiah 10:1-2
the watercolors are great. Hope we can both feel better soon.
hugs back
Yeah the beeswax are nice.
that is awful. Hugs.
I like the blushes too.
Saw my great niece and grown nice today. We picked them up at the airport. It was hot waiting but nice family time.
Have read and caught up a bit and am sorry to see so much unnice things happening to several of the group. Gry you eyes make me worry. Jersey hope the car and you and you mother are doing better.
I'm sorry for not being so active on this thread! Since I made my return to the office (after working from home for 16 months), I find I'm being a bit less social on Subeta - just doing dailies and puttering away on my pets here and there. I have like 5 pets that are a WIP I'm doing at once! Also trying to sell off some CWs is also proving a difficult task lol.
Thank you for the support :)
My pets are all WIPs and I have a bunch. I think I need to step away from making HA's to work on my pets.
So, basically, it's good to have intense projects =D
If I get on a roll, I can finish a pet fairly quickly (Provided the TC items are easily obtainable)! I just need my muse and inspiration to hit me hard when I have the time haha
In fact, I'm awaiting a trade offer to be accepted for a TC item and then once I have it, I've finished Rocinante!
Me and my husband are getting into The Expanse and tend to binged a few episodes every night. We're up to Season 4 now.
Probably will read the books in the future.
I'm a huge Sci-Fi nerd XD
fjkslajfkdls me too!! The Expanse series is probably my favourite sci-fi series of all time. I watched the show before reading the books! I actually enjoyed seeing the show first because it made it so easy to visualize the story (not like it's hard when books are well-written) but it was wonderful to see how one book = one season. I caught up on the series before season 5 aired and honestly it was the longest wait because the book was so epic. They did a great job with it! Once the final book comes out I can finally buy a box set! Been reading them on my ereader.
Thank you! I've had him for a looooooong time and finally finished him for the spotlight this year. His TC will be ongoing now! The Roci can't be nominated yet; hopefully within the next day or so it'll be ready!
Today has been good so far. Monday me and Brian went shopping and yesterday was spent recovering from that. The heating pad I have really helps with any of my back pain.
I just have to remember not to push my body too much whenever I'm having a good day :)
I'm glad the show did a good job with the books. It's always odd when reading the source material that's nothing like the adaptation. Or vice verse.
I hate when you catch up with a series and then have to wait.
Animorphs is the series that really got me into reading and luckily it holds up as an adult. It's my favorite series. I would suggest skipping the tv series because...yeah...there's a movie in production but the two writers of the books left it so...it'll probably suck.
The writers of the Expanse books are actually writers for the show! So that helps maintain the story and adjusting for stuff that can't be translated from book to screen. For example, Belters are actually 2-3 feet taller than Earthers and suuuuper lanky and thin and have less bone density, due to growing up with low/no gravity. A very hard thing to portray on screen (for a show where like 80% of people would be Belters) so they just allude to it in the first season. "In a few years they'll all look like that" they comment about a guy who is that tall and lanky.
Naomi is written to be hella taller than Holden xD
Animorphs was not something that caught my interest when I was younger, I have to say!
Yay for good days! Pretty good day for me today too.
Let me know when she's ready and I'll nominate her for you.
I need some inspiration for my pet Amarah. I have the amazing art from and I love the profile I did, but have nothing for a story or a TC to go with it. She might be a little aloof, but still have friends, and she loves her minion. I don't see her as a performer or artist; or really wanting to dedicate a long time and great effort to learning, such as a mage or scientist either. Just not sure. I need something that I can easily get items for a TC too. Amy ideas?
For sure, thank you! Roci is actually genderless! Better yet, its made from the glitched "gender" that happens with Zentu sometimes! As it's a ship, it worked really well for me when I had a friend offering one for adoption.
Yeah, the height difference would be hard to indicate in a show. It could probably be done but it would be costly. I can see why the show changed that.
Animorphs is equally parts funny and extremely serious. K.A.Applegate does not pull any punches especially when it comes to the ending. She was writing a war story and she showed a realistic version of how war turns out. It's not a glorious final battle and most are left battered and broken.
But, at the same time, there are some really funny moments. The main characters are teenagers so they sometimes morph dogs to sneak into a concert or morph parrots to sabotage a restaurant.
I think my eyes are mostly under control. I got a diagnosis of eczema on the eyelids and got a steroid cream for it.
Depression is back. Sleepy and no motivation.
My great niece, the almost on year old and her mommy are visiting and juni, her almost two year old aunt is very pleased.
I love a good war story with both types of endings. Mass Effect somehow combines both - you get your big ending to the three games but it also just fucks you up and I'm usually sad for days after ughh
Yeah of course, I get that! Oddly enough, I found that in both the Expanse books and show, the only one calling the Roci "she" is the pilot and the rest of the crew thinks he's really weird for doing so lol In other news, I got my TC item and Rocinante is ready for the spotlight ahhh!
Glad the eyes are doing better. Do you think that it might be related to Covid? Seems so much can be blamed on Covid as we still know so little. Sorry to hear you've been depressed, that's a hard thing to treat and still feel like yourself. Hope your sister is doing well, she doesn't come on very often. It must lift your spirits somewhat to have the little ones visit.
