my mom has been told to wait a week on the glasses before. She says it is when there's a large change in the prescription since it is the muscles in the eyes that are being adjusted. You need to actually wear the glasses to get used to them.

I am just hanging around not doing much. Nothing much to say.

Not been on subeta much yet. Still trying to get settled and also get used to the laptop. First time using this laptop since we bought it for mom. I have such vibrant colors with my vid card on my computer at home so the laptop is really lacking. Not feeling like I can see the colors well enough to make HAs. Don't think I can change the look on the laptop. :(

I'm doing better so far. I'm also still suffering from vertigo so I sometimes can't tell what is caused by the new glasses and what is caused by the vertigo xD

Good morning, hope everyone is doing well! Just came from the dentist personally. I was very anxious leading up to the appt because I had a tooth issue going on but it turned out to just be a small cavity as best we can tell. Now I have an appt to have it filled next month and I feel a lot better and less worried that it's serious. I'd been having some pain in the area when I floss and I was really scared of an infection because I've had a mouth infection before and it's the most pain I've ever been in so I'm definitely terrified of it ever happening again. But I'm all good now! Or will be after it's filled anyways. Super sleepy though 'cos I had to wake up at 7:30 to go to my appt at 8 OTL

Thank you! ;w; I'm really glad that people like it. It honestly does feel so different to me so it's taking some getting used to. I'm hoping I can adjust and be gothic for a long time though! There were a few other usernames I was considering but gothic is the one that appealed most to my brain apparently.

I think I know exactly what you mean with the colors on your laptop as well. My laptop is almost 11 years old and it's all I've used for all of that time. It developed an issue unfortunately in the last two years or so and also I couldn't use it for gaming because it was sooo old and not really built for that to begin with, so I made the switch to an actual gaming PC. Colors look SO different! It feels so weird to me, but since the laptop is what I was used to, everything on the pc feels wrong. XD It's hard to imagine it's actually reverse of that. I hope using the laptop goes more smoothly for you though.

The colors on the laptop are so odd to me . Brighter in some places and duller in others compared to my PC. I'm going to be interested to see what the HAs I make on the laptop look like when I get home and can see them on my computer. Hope your dentist visit fixes everything next time. I dread going to the dentist.

Hey, good evening!! I hope everyone is doing well and has had a lovely weekend. Mine was okay, VERY rainy. And I saw my family for the first time in a long time and it was wonderful but I got a lot of sun (despite the rain) and I'm very sleepy now. Also this freaking WASP!!!! crawled up my leg and stung me in multiple places! I was like, what the heck?? Why me! T_T

I think that will be really interesting for sure honestly! It was really bizarre to see how different things were on my desktop vs my laptop. Now I wonder if I always went around mismatching before or something XD And thank you! I also don't like going to the dentist very much, but it's not too hard on me. I know it can be really hard on others though. My dad had a hard time in the past even watching me at my appointments. Hopefully your visits can be few and far between!

Anyway... Heat wave here and i am working most of the week swingshift. And the building i am working is hot, the climate controle does not work ok on the 4th and top floor i am working on. So sweaty!

thankfully it's much cooler today around 22 degrees celcius. Sadly the heat is comming back tomorrow and they are saying on thursday it will be 35 degrees celcius.. pff hot!

2. What are your interests on Subeta? (Human Avatars/Pets/Battle/Restocking etc. ) So far I really like avatars, they're super pretty! I've also been enjoying games, and questing! Questing shows me items I never would have seen before, so it's kind of exciting to see what rewards you get.

3. How often do you play on site and will you be active within the group? I haven't been on too long, but I've been on steadily every day since I joined! It's really cozy here, so I think I'll be around for a long time.

Forum Groups are just places to connect away from the main forums, usually brought together by a common purpose/like/reason. We're a general no focus social group. A remnant of the 'cult' system it was when the site first started. Forum groups are much better. There are groups for reminding you to do something (like to go to the bathhouse everyday), ping groups for artists and custom wear releasers, groups for contests and other things.
