You are a brave person for requesting everyone pings oh wow haha, this is super kind of you, thank you <3!

Me and 3 of my friends that I did my undergraduate degree with just got back from a week in Rome, we were all kind of fed up with post-uni life, half of us working and half of us doing post grad stuff and we decided to run off there when I found flights and hotels for scandalously cheap :D We had an awesome time!

We all do pole dancing with our university and it means that we had to make shapes in locations! I AM SO SORRY FOR HOW HUGE THESE MAY DISPLAY

The top two photos are from the ruins at Ostia Antica and the second two are of course the Colosseum <3. We found a suitable pole for tricks but sadly the angle sucked, this is the only photo I have of a real trick which is at the wrong angle haha :c

That´s a picture of my cat Tanasu as a kitten, the first day he felt comfortable enough in his new home for rolling over and letting his belly have a good scratch! :-) I love him to pieces (like all my cats) yet these first bonding moments are so precious.

Here's a little picture of Mumi, the stray cat that was literally left on my doorstep when she was 5 months old. Poor thing was a sack of skin and bones when she arrived, but -man- she could yowl! Her powerful voice was the only thing that alerted us that someone left her there, and the reason why she's here today. (There are literally no words to describe the way I ran downstairs and tripped over absolutely -everything-, before I could actually reach the door and see where the yowling came from. Hell hath no hurry like a cat-lover who hears a sad cat.)

She's grown much fluffier and quiet these days. She also happens to be the perfect way to decorate a gloomy desk. <3

Your image isn't showing up for me, but I love that you took in a stray! I took in two when I was younger, and they were the best cats. Thanks for sharing, and for giving Mumi a great home :)

Thank you so much for your generosity, I love these items, they were so long on my WL! Tanasu is blowing a kitty kiss, too. He sits beside me, we´re in vacation right now yet always taking the cats with us, they are like family.

- Oh wow, this is very sweet of you! ^^ And, the rules are very interesting.

A few months ago, a friend and I went to the touristy part of Orlando. We stopped by an ice cream shop, and we saw there was an open parking lot. There was this sign that indicated that the owner of the shop was tired of towing (mainly tourist) cars because it was costing them too much money. The sign made both of us crack up. XD

A happy moment would be my wedding day!! It has almost been a year now and it is still the happiest day of my life. ^^ If I see this picture or any from that day it makes me smile and all excited. ^^ Married my best friend and spending the rest of my life with him is definitely going to keep me smiling! One of my favorite moments during the wedding was the cake cutting. No one told me how to cut the cake exactly so I looked mighty confused, not to mention I am not very good with a knife! My husband sure looks scared standing next to me as I wield the knife around until cutting the small piece. I am currently working on his anniversary gift, a book based off of the Adventure Book at the beginning of the movie Up, because I can't wait to start my adventure with him!

I browsed through my dropbox just now.. I have so many pictures that are worth to be shared.. Sorry for putting links only - it's just about figuring out the direct picture links x_x

  1. My first time making profiterols. I never expected them to literally explode that much (I used a bigger teaspoon to put the batter on the pan. Before (2nd batch): clicky and after (1st batch): clicky.
  2. A reaction I did at university, it's modified sugarmolecules. About 20 gramms. I was a small puddle of solvent until I dried in in vacuum. Boom. Exploded somewhat as well. Just for a small "scale": that is a 1L round-bottomed flask. clicky
  3. This one made me crack when I saw it: Our postman must have tried to play tetris with my bf's parcels... He didn't clear the line though. clicky
  4. And the last picture is were I will spend the coming weekend again :D - A small beach at the north/german sea ("Schillig"). clicky.

The other day I was walking to the station amongst a small crowd (not really paying attention to anything) when I noticed a $10 note on the ground ahead of me. I realised someone must have dropped it but had no idea which person it could be, so I hesitated and just stared at it. Then a lovely man scooped it up and chased after the person he had seen drop it to return it. :) It made my day.

I don't have much happy things but I'll talk to you about my dog Andy. We rescued him from a high-kill shelter near my home. The shelter is really not the best out there and they often lie about the animal and their conditions (health, age). We picked him up from there on without having any type of background info about him. We brought him to the vet and he's healthy! However, we started seeing some behavioural issues that can be caused by a lack of training (it's important to train your dog. It's a bit like school for us). So slowly but surely, I've been able to make him sit, jump, crawl, dance and a lot of other tricks. As much as I didn't want to keep him at first (he was picked up by my mom and I didn't knew that she paid for him too) I'm kinda glad he has found a place to stay with us. He's the most regal squishy puglet (pug x terrier) I've seen ha ha.

I volunteer in refuge now because I believe in second chances for all animals out there. They need some love! Picture under the cut!

About two months ago my mom and I lost our family cat. (On May the 4th of all days..) She was 19 years old, and was such a sweet heart. Her name was Rosie (but we affectionately called her Rosie Bud). We will miss her dearly and the path to healing has been quite a rocky one. I'm happy to report about two weeks ago my mother took in a 10 year old kitty named Sophie. She really thought long and hard on this one and felt she was ready to devote her time to another furry friend. At first Sophie was really skiddish and kinda hid and watched my mom but now she's walking around, vocalizing, eating well and sleeping with my mom. I get to go over today and meet her for the first time and I'm really excited.

No pictures of Sophie yet, but take some pictures of my own furball Tail .

This is so generous of you to do, and do reiterate what they said above, so gutsy of you to be willing to have the Subetaen masses ping you one after another!

I am going to be posting another furbaby. This one is mine. She's grumpy, fluffy, a bit of a gimp due to an accident a few years ago that left her back legs in bad condition, but otherwise adorable.

This is one of my favorite. She's named Bourbon. She was attempting to "help" me with my homework back when I was in grad school. That's a mug of Earl Grey tea she's helped herself to while I was grabbing a book I needed. She had no shame and continued while I grabbed a picture of her.

Thank you so much for having this giveaway!

The most recent bit of amusement I have comes from a geek group I'm in on FB. Someone posted a haiku about Mariokart, so I had to reply in kind. Them: Racing Rainbow Road I can see the finish line, Who threw the red shell?

Me: I've got a red shell Shame if you are in first place And ahead of me.

In older things, I used to live in Amish country. We got a lot of horsedrawn buggies and stuff, and this sign is outside of a restaurant. Never fails to make me laugh.

Aww look at her~ And look at your HA, you're gorgeous as always. Especially that hair layering.

come play!

The way some people spell makes me wonder about their pronunciation. My CW shop, and my ping group

Moving house tends to clutter things quite badly. For some strange reason, long, flat metre and a half plus things have a way of getting underfoot. Incidentally, a good place to dump thing is on the nearest available surface. Some people have cats on their bed, others might have dogs. This thing (now mostly unwrapped for identification's sake) never really made it off my bed ^~^

She is growing up so fast and being our fourth and final child little moments like his fill my heart with such joy.
