Ever since the Apocalyptic Apothecary got all the new stock added, the original stock from the shop has been virtually non-existent. It is next to impossible to find any potions or pylonics and even weeks after a major boss battle common/normal potions that used to sell for 500 sP or less are still running about 10K each. When battlers need to stock these by the hundreds, this is unacceptable.

I live in MN, and whatever you've heard... It's much worse.

Good question. The original stock hardly ever comes in now because it's mostly elixirs for pet colours.

Add the Dark X potions to the battle shop as well for Y easy tokens.

Pylonics are fine. They're not really meant to be vender trash like the Dark X Potions

Adding them to the battle shop for tokens won't help.

I never liked the magic box change, and this is one of the reasons.

I totally agree, tried to restock there but without success (not to mention that I have not seen any booster stock yet).

Total agreement, I haven't even seen a dark potion in there for a while, let alone a pylonic or a booster. There are dark potions going for more than 10k and stocks seem to be dwindling.

I hope someone looks into this.

Do elixirs/potions have to restock randomly though? Couldn't they be sold in unlimited supply like Go Outside?

Proposed this idea awhile ago, most people did not like it, though I don't think the people who didn't like it even use dark potions and pylonics

Loved being able to stake out shop 36 for stat boosters and such before, but now it's all ruined with the elixirs and such being in there 24/7.

Maybe move the battle stuff to The Sable Smithy (shop 39)?

[edit] Personally I'd get rid of the healing potion items that are in there since they're useless items anyways.

You can't equip them to your pet prior to a battle; can only use them after...which is pointless, cause most battlers have a link to the Healer in their notepad widget anyways.

Raise the restock price a little, and that sounds like a decent sp sink!

Or get rid of/retire elixirs and the colourfill potions, and create an NPC who can change your pet's species and colourfill/basic colour for a reasonable fee. 250k sound good?

Obviously some species can be restricted or excluded from this, such as neelas, bumbii, and bhakorus.

I've made the suggestion to have dark element potions stock a little more frequently in the Apothecary or at the very least add more amounts per stock (10-15 seems reason?)

People hate that idea too because it ruins the immersiveness of the site or something. Idk, I'd prefer that. People collect elixirs though so those people would be angry.

There's nothing special about elixirs as it is though, they're pretty cheap and when they pop up in quests, I skip that quest because it won't be worth doing. I'm surprised anyone buys them.

Noone buys those elixirs from me though ;( I'd totally support the idea to get rid of them all together but as kbbob said, there are people who collect those elixirs and I'm sure a lot of people also have some in their pets TC...

As for the potions, more than 3 should restock each time because the demand is so high... I mean I like to restock them because they usually get sold extremely fast but it's a pain in the ass if you need a lot of them from a battlers perspective

They could always retired the elixirs in favor of a feature that changes species/base color. They'd still be around in tcs but not sold anywhere.

But them being in a shop like Go Outside makes more sense to me.

I still don't agree with the idea of making elixirs/potions instantly attainable. Simply because more and more things are becoming attainable like that and if things continue in that fashion, it'd be like a site of "do your dailies and you're done" not "this site is fun and I'm going to play around on it for awhile." The last thing I want to see is for that first option to happen hence why I am not supportive of making yet another feature just one click of a button.

Also my elixirs sell so...

But I do agree that the pylonics and potions need to show up more regularly because they are so frequently used. I also agree that the little healing potions should be retired. With the healer much cheaper than those potions are there isn't really a point in having them around.

But elixirs are already easy to obtain (pretty sure they will continue to sink in worth, except for the really rare ones). If you regularly restock at the apothecary I think you know what I'm talking about.. not only that but now the quests also give out elixirs. Yes, it's not one click away but they are not that difficult to get your hands on, either.

I don't personally use potions/pylonics in battling (yet), but battling is enough of a pita and a money pit on Subeta as-is. If the price jump has been that extreme, hopefully this will be looked into quickly.

I'm not in favour of getting rid of pet elixirs/potions entirely (I don't feel like Subeta needs MORE boring menus, there's enough already), but maybe the battle potions need to be moved to a different shop where they'll stock more frequently. (Spells Galore? Defend and Conquer? Their very own GoOutside-style battle shop?)
