i stalk apothecary regularly. barely any dark potions and pylonics emerge. if any, at most i saw 2 types of dark potions in 3 per stack and 1 pylonic in 4 per stack. and it is rare. and those dark potions are of mundane rarity, but the rate they appear seems like they are rare.

also it looks like apothecary restock slower than other shop. after 2 am shop reset everyday, other shop has a lot of items already by this time (4.45 am), but apothecary only has 6 item. i don't suppose people are restocking those elixir regularly because it only has the same worthless elixirs everyday.

people already think battling is hard, complicated and expensive. shouldn't we make it a little more approachable by having these pylonics and dark potions more available for use rather just for maleria quest? they are proven very useful for lower tier pets.

Anything would be better than the way it is now. The negating plyonic is almost non-existant along with the dark potions. Never hoarded these things before because I didnt have to before and when the opponents are as challenging as they are now, its a real disadvantage and new battlers get discouraged easily when they cant beat opponents.

Let's toss those elixirs at our opponents and see what happens, because I can't find any weapons to throw there! :D

I wonder if it's possible to have two sections to the apothecary and have them restock separately so we could get back the restocking behavior we had before the merge. There would still be the pet potions and elixirs stocking randomly while returning a steady supply of dark potions, boosters and pylonics to battlers plus a bit of randomness if the admins think it's needed. And maybe get rid of those healing potions in favor of a link to the healer from the battle pages.

Why not just move the battle related items (potions and pylonics) into their respective battle shop instead (Weapons Warehouse/Defend and Conquer)? Those shops restock plenty, so my guess is that would increase supply without overdoing since we had a pretty decent overstock of these items going before the merge. I'd love to see that happen to stat boosters too since they've also become practically non-existent since the merge, but I won't push my luck. ;)

I got directed here by the fix restocking thread and reading through the early posts makes me wistful for when pylonics could be gotten for even 10k. I've been trying to restock them all month and today I got 3 forgerous pylonics and felt like Luminaire came early. Things have gotten beyond ridiculous.

If nothing will be done to fix the restocking situation, how about having battle quests give out dark potions and pylonics exclusively instead of random cheap weapons? Would be useful!

That would be really nice. At this point going for anything challenging for my level is a ridiculous waste of sp. If I lose then its a complete loss and even if I win its not really worth it. Its getting to the point where battling for experience is almost as expensive as just buying stat boosters outright.

Trying to snag boosters (I have no problem with this not being easy; they are rare for a reason) is nearly bloody impossible now. I am a patient RSer but could not tell you the last time I caught - or even saw - a booster in there. Between that, and the total removal of the Apothecary from its previous (occasional) appearances in the Magic Box rotation, we're starting to lose availability of these items drastically.

Even if they were made available at a much higher price, as least - as consumables! - they would be getting out into the community and the economy. Has their availability been throttled due to the difficulty of implementing higher battle tiers/more difficult battle challengers so as to keep people 'stuck' in their existing tiers for longer?
