God, guys. I don't notice any of the stuff until you guys point it out. Now the fluff on the hind leg's bothering me.

I think it's beautiful! The leopard spots on the back are my favorite touch, just a gorgeous detail. This is such an improvement - kudos to the artist.

What I love: I love the face, it looks so much more...mature than the current face, The chest is great adding to his regal appearance. What I love even more are the leopard spots across the back. Just a nice subtle touch to the feline in him. Keep the spots please.

What I don't like: The legs, wings and tail. Anatomy is so important to this pet. The front eagle legs are too cat-like and not enough bird. The back legs are just poorly positioned. The wings just seem far too small to allow it to fly any distance. The tail looks like it was squished in as an after thought. Maybe have them come forward instead of behind.

I am rather indifferent to the feather earring. I like it, but maybe if it was beads or something instead of feathers. Change the color from green, muting might be a good option, or add more green to the Aerie its self.

Over all I love it. A nice change that was definately needd.

i really like it a lot! i honestly don't think i have any complaints, and i disagree with all the ones i've seen here. the earring is cute, i like all of the feet and legs, the wings are nice, the tail is great. its drawn so well!

Generally good, but the front feet is bothering me : I think it's the claws... are they supposed to be bird claws or mammal paws?

Like others have said, I feel there's something off about the hind leg. The front feet seem a bit off, too. Since it's based off of a griffin, I think it would be best if the front feet were more like a eagle's talons and less like paws. Aside from that, maybe make the tail a little less bulky, and I think you'd have a perfect pet.

I'm pretty sure the bird-feet are staying, as is the new colour scheme; several other sites also have green gryphon-inspired pets available, I think with four paw-legs as opposed to two-paw+two-talon.

The back leg seems odd, as others have said. While I hate to not be too constructive, I have to say the line of the back goes down too far, perhaps slant it in more at the point where the leg meets the body? And the upper and lower portions of the leg seem to be joined together to make it one rather useless blob of a limb. Whether the slanting of the aforementioned line would help that or if there's just more distinction needed, I'm not sure.

I don't mind the chicken-legs. But something's really, really bothering me about the back feet. They look kind of human. It's disturbing.

And the two little marks near its eye, along with the earring-thing make it look really feminine, to me.

But it's still a major improvement. :3 I think I liked the last version that was polled more, though.

I love it. All of it except for the front legs. The toes should be more apart from each other. And the fourth toe (the one pointing backwards) should probably be visible too. Maybe make the front legs a little thinner too? I have no problem with the color of the legs, seeing as that's the color eagles/griffons usually have on their legs.

Other than that. Kudos to the artist

The old Aeries where cute, but the new one's are simpley gorgeous! Arid used to be an Aerie but I morphed him, now I kinda wished I didn't XDDD

I love all the beautiful shades of brown, but I think you should stick with all paws instead of bringing back the bird feet. And if you choose to keep the bird feet, I suggest revising them slightly because they seem a bit off to me. =/ I love the green feather earring. This revamp possibility wouldn't be as gorgeous without it. The colors would still be just as beautiful, but it wouldn't be the same without the green feathers. I also love the circle patterns in the aerie's back. Very original, and it adds something nice to an otherwise solid-colored surface. But all the extra fluff-lines(?) you put on the hind leg are kind of bugging me. I love the cuddly chest fluff, though. ^w^ falls asleep in it

Fabulous work, and with a bit of revising I hope this one gets picked. =D I've been waiting for an aerie revamp for quite some time and what more perfect time than now?

I dunno. Birds in general have pretty small heads in proportion to their bodies? Given that the body on the Aerie resembles a lion or some other large and somewhat muscular/powerful creature, I don't think it'd make sense to give it a large head?

Just my two cents on the head-size issue, though. :3

hmmnn, well, the artwork is very nice, howeverrr.. I don't really like the front legs. I think that they should be kept like the old ones, furry, rather than like a stereotypical bird's legs. :/ Also, I think that the head is a TAD small. otherwise, i love it! The colors are great, and the little feathers at the ear are really cute. I also love how fluffy the tails are.

The front legs should look a little more like bird legs, eagle or somthing, they're a bit too paw like then a birds talons. The rest is perfect love it

I also stared at the way the back leg is situated... and because of some of the line placements, the muscles are way off. There is no way the poor thing could fly with how small and spindly the thigh is. That back leg definitely needs some anatomy fixing, it makes little sense and isn't attached right to the whole creature.

However, there are a few things I don't really like. I find it hard to accept the feather earring, maybe because the green is such a bright shade? If it was a bit muted it wouldn't draw the eye so quickly.

I don't mind the front legs, but to me the back legs look really awkward. It looks like his one leg is attached to his butt. =P

Lastly, the tails don't look like they are connected to the body. Maybe because the brown is much darker? But I agree with Asophis that it looks like he sat on a couple of chipmunks. XD

I like it, I really do! The only thing I wish was carried over from the original drawing is the lighter-coloured toes. I wish they were gold, or lighter brown.

I like this revamp, but it seems to have lost that prime aerie look. The head looks as if it could be a little bigger, seems a bit squished down. The way the back leg appear a little off, but thats probably just me. The front legs don't have feathers anymore, so thats why I guess its lost a bit of the aerie look. Perhaps it could be a bit more to the old green color, or a more active pose? Love the tail feathers though, nice job on that :3

I love this new version, its very detailed and very pretty. The front legs seem a little stiff in my opinion, especially at the shoulder. The earring is cute.

I voted for the new one. It looks majestic and regal. The only complaint I have is the tails. They look a bit squished in or like they are something not even a part of the Aerie. I love the detail on it though and the earring is a nice touch to tie it in with the older version. This is really a beautiful pet and one I would actually consider adding to my group. Nice work to Jag(I think that is who did this)

I like it except for the bird feet. I really like how the current version has all mammal-like limbs, unlike so many griffin versions. The feathers by the ear do seem really odd considering it's a bird-like creature so it already has feathers.. That would be like me making a pair of earrings out of human hair Not that they don't look good, because they do, but it just seems odd.

Overall, it's a really lovely piece of art and I would like a pet like this on-site, but I would really prefer it to have the basic anatomy of the old one. If the bird feet really must stay, could the color at least change to something more neutral so they don't stick out so much?

I absolutely adore it, especially the green feather ear-rings. However, I'm going to have to agree with the people who've said that the front legs are a bit stocky and off.

Very nice! But a couple of suggestions:

Wings look like they should be larger, and the hind legs look a bit human--I'd love to see the actual foot more paw-like and the knee to thigh area a little larger and rounder.

And a more action style pose would be good--the current 'incarnation' is in a very active pose. Still, overall a very nice job.

Not really digging the front legs, and the tail sticks out too much IMO. It's an improvement in some ways, but in other ways I like the old one better.

It's certanly an inmprovmnt, it's more detailed and realistic looking, as mentioned below the front legs, theres something about them I don't think it's just because they are orange either, I don't know what it is.

I agree with the comments regarding the front legs... They should be thinner and scalier. And the tails don't seem quite right somehow. Apart from that, I like it a lot
