BOY does this take me back... remembers the whole chest issue with the Tigrean

About the revamp...
Flaws:
It's lost all its cute.
This new revamp looks like a full grown cat.
Too much detail makes it look more like a painting than an actual animal.
Breasts... again. (Honestly how many times are you guys going to make this mistake?)
Horns and wings are just a wee too small.

Ya know... I can't believe I'm saying this but I actually liked the previous revamp more.

The only problem THAT had was the abnormal hind legs/feet and too much definition of the chest fur.

Pros:
Nice coloration, okay pose and shadowing seems to be in all the right places.

Last time I remember, this place was pg-13. :3 This revamp is nowhere near too "sexual". If you want to call it that.

The front part looks unattached from the back, like two pics drawn from diff prespectives were stuck together. The way shiva redid it was a bit better, but that way it would make the curve a bit too excessive, so if she ever stood up her body would be very long. I suggest making the front face more to the left, so that we are seeing it a bit more strait up. Also please please change the tail so its not attached to the head XD

I love the front paws however, and its so so much better then the previous one with its broken back (that pose is just not possible lol) so I voted for the new one but I do wish there are some changes cuz yeah I can see why ppl are saying it looks like an anthro.

oh and one last thought on the subject of revamps.

Why are revamping the more popular pets?

I would have thought that the Endeavour and other pets of its ilk would be the first for redraws...or withdrawals.

I like the tail lying away from the body better too, but remember these pets have to fit into a certain sized square; I may be wrong, but I suspect that's part of the reason the tail is the way it is.

I think some of you really need to grow up. Cat's sit like this all the time, they have furry chests.
Some of you need to get your head our of the gutter, or so to speak, if you think this looks suggestive and feminine in any way.

Sorry but I had to add my two cents.

Other then that I find this gorgeous, and I have been looking forward to the new feli revamp.

no no no no no no...as an owner of a Feli...I really don't like the re-vamp.

I fell in love with the Feli, just the way they were. And the proposed re-vamp just makes it too sickening sweet.

: Cripes, chill out. "Fur-phobes?" Are you serious, man? There's really no need to get so pissed over the fact that a portion of the Subetian community happens to interpret this pose as sexual. Personally, the chest fur isn't what sets up a red flag for me; the aspect that seems oh-so sensual to my eyes is the legs, not the fluffy cat-tats. Just take a deep breath and relax, bud.

My point of view is that the revamp posted before it was much more cuter, but needed to change the leg possition so that it wasn't scooting it's rear on the floor... Kind of like the DM posed.

Something about this Feli screams 'furry' maybe it's the pose looking abit human like, anywho it isn't to my taste but thats my opinion.

Just to add to the list of redlines

I know I am way late. :/ but better late than never.. I guess. Nose should be wider, makes the nose look squished, and the shoulders look.. strange, like human shoulders and all of a sudden cat legs. The further ear looks more like a horn than a ear. And, it doesn't even need eye brows. X3;;
But, other than that and what the redline implies, it looks alright.

I really really like it. I could wish there was more shading on the face, but I really love the pose. I don't know what's up with the "creepy" comments. The feli is based on a cat. I have a cat, and she lays like that ALL the time. And I don't think the chest is any more suggestive than, say, the tiger suits are I think it's awesome and hope it stays, though I must say I like the old feli just fine.

By presenting the new version it is kind of biasing the pose.

I personally LOVE LOVE the new one, then I remembered that well, uh, not everyone on this site is 18+ and we already have thongs, garter belts, lingerie, etc etc. So I voted no. Don't fix what isn't broken. This new pose is a bit much, unless this is a furries site (hahaha)

I like it, but I do agree that the chest seems a bit odd with the way the back end of the body is drawn. The chest makes it look like it's standing up. I also agree about the left wing. It should probably just be removed.

My 2 cents...putting the ears in a flattened pose definitely detracts from the full face cuteness factor that the old pose had. The new supine position just doesn't gel for me either. Maybe bringing that tucked foot forward and stretching it out in front of the other one could help (giving it a more leonine look of repose). The tail would also definitely look better curved around to the front and twitching near the paws (as is, it kind of looks like a colourful satellite, or tv antenna). A hint of nails/claws might negate the overall "female" aura that everyone has mentioned with regard to the "ooh la la" factor.

HOWEVER. I must say, the face doesn't have enough shadow about the midmuzzle. Face seems very flat.

...Maybe it's because I'm rather ignorant in regards to females... but like Vash, I just don't see this as being sexual in any sense of the word. I've also got a cat that sits JUST like this. And my cat is also excessively hairy, so... the chest fluff isn't that great a deal to me, and doesn't remind me of a pin-up girl's cleavage. I may be strange for saying this, but people... seriously. Get your heads out of the gutter.

I see a lot of people have voted for the new. I prefer the old. The legs are wonky, the nose is too long and it has a Disney-style chest....totally exaggerated. The eyes are small and unappealing, the tail looks too skinny....sorry artist, but it doesn't appeal to me even remotely.

Would it be too much to rename the Feli to Feccubus. It's not a cat or a succubus, but it's just not as cute while it's in heat.
Overall, it's still an improvement on the original and the first revamp.

I'm still in awe of half of you really.. Sure maybe a few things to be tweaked,But in now way does this look like a its making sexual advances.. My first question is what are half of you on? And wheres mine?

My Cat, granted the Feli is a subeta pet, sits just like this and his tail twitches up almost past his head sometimes when he sits like that. No not in aggitation, He just does it. This looks alot better than the current poor feli that looks like someone broke its back legs to get it to sit like that..

Actually it's not the chest puffs that made me think of a pin-up girl (and yes, pin-up was the first thing I thought when I saw it, long before I read any of the comments.) It's more the position of the legs.

Also, the legs seem sort of naked the way they're shaded.

I do like the expression of the face, though.

Wtf, that Feli is a total Lady of the Night. XD I honestly can't look at it without mentally hearing this seductive voice whispering in my ear, "hey there, sailor. Wanna go back to your place for a good time? Me-OW!" Personally I'd prefer a Feli that wasn't trying to worm its way into your pants.

I don't believe this has been mentioned before, but the top of the head bothers me a tad. It looks far too smooth, just like the hind legs. I've never seen a feline with such a smooth head. I suggest a tiny bit of fur detail between the ears, perhaps a less curvy-hip bone in the feli's leg, and some fur detail in its place!
The chest fur doesn't actually bother me. My cat is long haired and has weird tuffs of fur like that on her, so it looks kind of natural to me.

Other then that, the artist has my compliments. This is truly an impressive revamp =]

The first thing that came to my mind when I saw it was that the chest looked really off. I didn't associate it with breasts, or think that it looked seductive, I still don't, (it just looks like a cat to me) but the puffy chest and the way that the front paws are crossed just looks wrong to me.
I'm not much with redlining, my drawing skills don't apply on a computer, but I'll include a real life photo that i think is a bit more natural looking in pose... (although with all that fluff it's hard to tell)
I'm not sure if I can embed the link on news comments, but I'll try, sorry if I make a CSS mess.

I too have to agree with the general consensus. It does look a bit like it has breasts. Also I do miss the upturned face. It's such a feli trait. =/ If this is the new pose, my arid and my twilight felis will change species

Wow, guys, it's a cat. xD The fur may look like boobs, but there's nothing sexual about it.

I quite like this revamp--a lot, actually. The only thing that bothers me is the far side of the head, but it's not a big deal and I can live with it. Excellent job!

I love this revamp. It's so cute. But, just two ideas from me are to move the tail away from the face, so they're not touching, and to take away the middle chest fluff (you've probably already heard about it, I'm sure, but just wanted to add that)

But other that that, excellent job. Love the eyes. :3

The face is very nice, and completely reminds me of the old feli in all the good ways,

The rest (and I thought this before I read a single other comment) definitely makes me think of a cheesecake pose. Not trashy, but too reminiscent of a bathing suit spread.

The old feli looked like it had a broken back so this pose does err on the side of being more realistic, but it's still not really the feli I imagine.

The artists' skill always amaze mean. You talented people are always able to create such beautiful work! I'm very impressed with the new Feli. It fixed several issues that the old one had.
I LOVE how it's not just flat color. It's more fluffy and cuddly looking now. ^^ And I really like the little details, like the shading on the face stripes.
I do think the tail might look better laying flat down, or at least less curled. And some fluff on the hind legs instead of them being so smooth would make them match with the front legs better.
Overall though, very nice job! I wish I had as much skill!!
