There is nothing sexual about this revamp. I think it looks so much better than the other one. My cat sits like this all the time, as do most other cats that I have seen.

It's a it too anthropomorphic for my taste, although I am sure the furry contingent are clamoring for more. The pose itself is not "sexual" just too "humanlike" for my taste. I have a few felis, I'm going to have to find something else to turn them into if this is the final pose.

My love of the feli may be destroyed.

/That's/ why it doesn't look enough like a cat.

And I don't -even- want to hear "But Subeta pets aren't specific animals! They're their own species!" because they're, for the most part, -based- off of real animals. And, the feli is clearly based off a cat.

Those are mostly special "redraw" colors, though. Not the basic pose of the pet.

I like everything but the double chest puffs that look like boobs. The ontra had them too in it's first revamp. Is this some kind of subliminal thing going on with Subeta's artists or are they trying to make the pets really feminine and even more anthropomorphic then usual.

It's not so much the pose for me that looks "sexual" but the anatomy of it seems more humanoid and doesn't completely fit together? o: basically what Takkeh said.

I agree powerwing. My cat at home lays like that all the time. Heck, sometimes he lays on his back, stomach up, legs spread. When I look at him I don't think, "Wow what a sexy pose!" 'Cuz, um, ew.

It's...different?

It looks too humanoid and not enough like a cat. Plus, the front part of the body looks disconnected from the back. It almost looks as though the front part was from a picture of a feli humanoid leaning against a fence or something, and the back was just tacked on.

Sorry, but troofs.

It has some good points, but looks like a sex kitten instead of a pet to me. I'd rather stick with the cute one Catienus is currently.

Hm, this is very cute, but a lot of things stand out to me.

First off, the hind leg anatomy gives it a humanish quality and makes the pose very seductive looking o-o; It would also looks 'off' for it to be sitting so straight in the front and then so curved in the back. The tail also looks a bit stiff and short. The left eye looks a bit too far from the muzzle. Something about the lineart also seems off? It's like it isn't dark enough, or not sharp enough?

All in all it looks very feminine instead of both-genderish? x D;

Uh...the second I saw this I thought "raunchy" I like the style, I really do, and the coloring and such is great. It just...looks like it has umm...a chest. And the pose makes me thing men's magazine. Sorry ^^;

Aw, it IS cute...but...could we make the paws just a teensy bit bigger like the old one?
Quite the 'come hither' pose...but I can't tell you how many times I've seen my own cat do this. Maybe bring the left rear leg forward to make it a little less 'cheesecake' for those who are concerned?

Hmm... I think the knees of the back legs might need some fur ruffles on them, and umm... no furry breasts. Other than that, I think it looks okay. At least its body isn't all contorted now.

I love it! Its so cute now. It looks feline, in my opinion. Cats don't have to be tarts to sit that way.

Goodness this is wonderful -- up there with my favorite revamps to date. The art quality alone is a massive improvement, and I love that we can see both wings, and it doesn't look like it has a broken spine -- and yet the new pose still catches the flavor of the original.

I do think DesertSonata has a good point about it looking like it's "waiting for sex" though. Not sure if it's ultimately worth a change, though.
