It might be some sort of bug for the profile, but there is an option to give out a buddy gold account through the cash shop. It's one the options in the top menu.

It was an issue that they changed, initially you couldn't give someone a buddy GA until theirs expired. They've since adjusted it so you can give it and it adds 30 days to their remaining time.

If we subscribe at the Keeper or Quester level, are those purchases tallied toward Reward Card stamps? For example, would it take two months of "Quester" to achieve one stamp?

Any updates on other payment options? I tried to use Paypal, because I don't have nor want a credit card, since I have no other use for this (as I'm sure many other people don't). But when I tried to pay through Paypal, it still keeps asking me to add a credit card. There's more than enough money in my Paypal wallet to pay for the subscription.

ok so when I tried to subscribe the first month after paypal was added I had the same issue mentions above, so I held off on it for a while, but now I'm trying to link my bank account to my paypal in the hopes that perhaps that will make it stop asking for a credit card when I'm trying to use paypal because I don't have a credit card... I'm still waiting to verify it etc, but I went back to the subscriptions page anyway and after I click on one of the plans it's not giving me any payment options at all at the moment.. it just lists the name of the plan and all the perks on the left side of the page and the rest of the page is completely blank for me (last time I checked, which was weeks ago, it did give me the payment options to choose from, but they're all gone now for some reason)

[edit] I don't know what I did differently the 10th time I tried to reload the page, but suddenly the payment options are back again? still have to wait until I can verify my bank account for paypal and hopefully that will solve the issue I was having with using paypal as a payment option.. still confused why it won't accept the money in my paypal wallet directly without having to link anything.. it does accept it when I'm buying CSC..

you can get a prepaid credit card

okay, so I had the same problem as you initially, but I finally decided to try and see if linking my bank account to my paypal and verifying it etc would fix the problem.. and I just finished the verification process and tried subscribing again, and this time it did not ask me to add a card. so I can now confirm that linking your bank account to your paypal definitely will fix this issue without requiring you to get a credit card. (it did still use the money on my paypal balance first because there was enough on it to pay for the subscription, but apparently it needs a secondary source to get the money from in case you didn't put enough money in your paypal wallet manually..)
