I feel like it's by far easier to understand when you look at that page.

Each subscription level comes with 30 days of Gold account status per month

Tier 1 ($3/month) that's all you get

Tier 2 you also get 250 CSC a month and the bonus item (which is the lily frame I have on now, this month)

Tier 3 you get the gold account, 500 CSC, the bonus item, and one each of two different "voucher" things: a "buddy gold account" voucher (lets you give someone else 30 days of gold account) and a 'CW voucher' (lets you buy a CW up to 700CSC from any CW shop).

Tier 4 you get the same as tier 3 except you get 2 buddy vouchers and 3 cw vouchers.

Gold account medals still will work fine.

Gold account days already purchased will remain, but there's a possibility of them being refunded as CSC if you want to subscribe instead.

I bet it's going to be hard to find someone who DOESN'T have a gold account after this, I feel like this might make the 2nd buddy subscription kinda redundant. If that proves to be the case, maybe it could get reevaluated in favor of like, 300 or 500 more csc credits? Maybe it won't be the case, idk, but it seems like it would be.

Also will there be a way to see if our friends already have a gold account, or how many days they have left? it's kinda pointless to keep giving them gold if they have a year-long subscription permanently..

You stated that you'd be billed on the same day every month, but what happens if you subscribe on, like, the 31st of a month? There are 5 months that don't even have a 31st day, so would you be charged on the 30th? The 1st of the next month? Would you accidentally not be charged at all?

How does the subscription system deal with a month not having the numbered day that you subscribed on?

I'm not really interested in the buddy GAs but everything else is AWESOME value (although I understand that others are wanting more perks and I'm looking forward to seeing what happens for battlers)! I finally smashed that subscribe button like all those youtubers have been telling me to :')

you can tell if a user has a GA by the little icon next to their username. a blue icon represents a regular account, while a yellow icon represents a gold account. (staff members have a red icon, forum mods have a purple icon, and keith has a black icon).

speaking of user icons, i really like the sound of changing up user icons as part of this process. those blurry little pixel people are kind of uhhhh outdated lol.

Thank you! I might have known this at one time in the past but I guess I forgot, lol. That is super helpful, and I love the idea of changing them up a bit! They don't need to be huge or anything, but maybe a shape to show off the color a little more so I don't need to squint and hold the screen close to my face?

And I do like the idea of a buddy GA, two just seems a little redundant to me and like it will be hard to find someone who doesn't already have it. Do they stack each month, I wonder?

I think I'll give the subscriptions a try. I've loved Subeta for over 11 years and for much of it, I was too young to have a stable income. I like the attitude and general vibe I've been feeling from staff lately. I may not agree with or like everything, but communication and updates have been happening a lot more frequently. Its time to put my money where my mouth is and give Subeta a chance.

these changes sound incredibly good. and the packages look very accessible, The way they're thought out, made me think of Patreon, hehe. i'm looking forward to see how things will go. :)

I wanted to see further options and hesitantly clicked a "choose plan" link twice, but nothing happened. Are they functional yet, or have I inadvertently subscribed already, when I just wanted to see information on payment method, duration, etc.?

Was anything ever done for the old csc bonus codes we used to get for purchasing csc with $? I remember Admin saying something was coming for those of us who still had unused codes but don't think that's every come about??

I made that comment yesterday before PayPal was added as an option. afterwards Keith already said they were planning to add more payment options in the future, and now I see they already went ahead and did that, so that's great to hear :) I'll look into it when I get on my laptop later today

Keith said that they're looking into the option of refunding your unused Gold Account time as CSC. Otherwise, you can still have a GA separate from the Subscription system, it's not being replaced BY the subscriptions.
