Hi, I wanted to know if I subscribe for several consecutive months, do the Custom Wearable vouchers roll over into the next month or would the vouchers expire every month, restricting me to use 3 vouchers per month?
Hi everyone! I just have a question. If someone signs up for the $5 subscription are they stuck at that level? Can it be changed depending on the person's financial situation that month? Say someone can afford $15 one month, but only $5 the next month. Will they be able to change it when needed?
While that is true, there is the fact that the subscriptions would likely cause them to buy less CSC
I wouldn't be all that upset if the answer is NO anyway tho, I just wanted to know the answer! :)
My referrals always buy CSC during the bonus weekends. I would think they would now purchase a high-tier subscription for the freebies rather than buy CSC with no bonus. We should receive something in lieu for a bonus we earned in good faith. I would consider a $3 subscription ($5 for me in Canada) if this was addressed.
Will it be possible at some point to use CSC to purchase a subscription, like we can for GA medals? Perhaps with our credit card as a backup if we don't have enough CSC one month.

This is interesting. The main reason I probably won't be subscribing is that I would value the Buddy GAs, and the CW Vouchers at 0 value.
If there was something equivalent where it felt like I was getting 35$ worth of content for 15$ a month, every month, I would sign up for that subscription.
The 5$ for a 3$GA and 250 CSC isn't the worst, but its really lackluster compared to the value that I would get from the 15$ subscription. I would rather just buy the 6K bundle once every 6-12 months to buy CSC challengers than a subscription. the 6K for 50$ deal is like 2x the value as a 10 month subscription
Like an alternate battle pass version of the 15$ a month level where you got a GA, the monthly item, the monthly challenger, 500 CSC, 8 account-bound +20 to each stat booster (about 2100 CSC worth of tomes).
Seems like great value for people that value CWs. But a couple months in, if they those vouchers start to pile up, liquidating them is going to be a pain if my goal is not to keep the items for myself. I also don't know if CW makers can do this, but are they allowed to start to price things at 750 CSC to make their items more exclusive and unvoucherable? Because I predict that being a problem that the vouchers will create, and instead of driving the price of CWs down, you may drive the cost up. In fact if a CW creator were to not place it at 750 or above, they are going to devalue whatever copies they were given for creating the CW most likely.

Yeaaaah I'm going to just wait for now. I don't need or even want any CWs, and don't have very many friends on site to give any to, so the vouchers for them don't interest me in the least. Maybe after the subscriptions have been around for a while and have some different benefits I'll reconsider.
I'm still waiting for a confirmation on if subscriptions can count towards the Reward Cards and Loyalty Points now, or if that's still being worked on, or if that's not going to happen until the new Reward Card next month. Then I'll consider subscribing.
As far as I know, there is a minimum limit that CWs can be priced at in CW shops, but no maximum (however, I'm not sure I've ever seen anything priced about 700). Regardless, if a voucher is used to buy a CW from a shop, the profit to the creator remains the same as if someone had used regular CSC to purchase the item. Apparently the process looks exactly the same from a notification standpoint, too, so the creator can't tell who's buying via CSC vs. via voucher.
I'm not sure if this would fit here, but I would recommend an option to upgrade. Say someone purchases the $5, but they decide in the middle of the month they would like the perks of the $10 instead, people should be able to upgrade and pay the extra $5 instead of cancelling then starting a new sub.
Since all of the subscriptions have the gold account already, just keep the time the same and only give them the things the subscription before didn't have. In this example, they'd get 250 more CSC, the buddy account, and a cw voucher.
Sorry if this has been asked, but is there anywhere we can check if our sub is active or what sub we are on atm? I just paid for a plan but didn't get the item / csc that is supposed to be granted with the sub, but the gold acc is active, so I am not too sure if it went through correctly...
In your "personal" tab, go to Dashboard and your gold account status should be in there.
I could definitely be wrong about this, and I don't think this will be a behavior that is adopted out of the gate. But I do think that there is a world where the optimal strategy as a CW releaser is to price new releases to 750-1000 CSC to avoid voucher users.
Getting 3 for ~6-7$ vs getting 1 for 7$ is a strong motivator to maybe push a purchase off another 30 days. Vouchers are such a great deal atm that I think it could potentially change consumer behavior to only buy CWs less than 700 CSC with vouchers, and consumers will likely start to form a kind of mental que of I'm buying these 3 this month, those 3 the next month, and so on.
As a CW releaser as long as you stay in someones mental que for 2-3 months, you will eventually get that sale. But there is a possibility that you are losing on sales if the person finds a new shiny thing to buy while they are waiting, pushing your item down their mental list.
If you price your CW at 750 CSC, then when it catches someone eye, they dont necessarily put it in some mental que, they buy it or they don't. You might miss out on a few sales of people who would use their voucher on it immediately, but I bet you miss more sales by being put into purgatory waiting to be vouchered. To make up for the slightly fewer sales, you could probably price it a bit higher too, say at 1000 CSC to make up for some of the lost voucher sales. Since if your targetting the non voucher market, your already counting on a bit more of an impulse market as it is, and I bet the prices are pretty elastic from 7$-10$ Maybe even price it at 950 to keep it under that 10$ threshold.
[edit] Had this realization as soon as I posted, that I guess It could also potentially work the opposite way too. If you price your CW at 600-650 CSC you keep your ability to have a user use a voucher on you, but also disincentivize them from actually using a voucher on you because they would be getting more precieved value from a 700 CSC item. I think if multiple CW releasers realize this they end up potentially hurting their margains in.a race to the bottom though.

There's an upcoming revamp for CW rules and prices, one of the goals is to make CWs cheaper so I doubt anyone pricing higher would get much sales. Anyway, the most desirable and expensive aftermarket items wont even get to be in the shops, they're usually sold out when slotting in forums.

Quick question - trying to gift a friend a buddy GA and there isn't a button on her profile to do so. There's only the button to mail, but the gold account thing isn't there - her current subscription is still valid for 2 more days, would that be why?
Hope I'm not breaking a rule here, but its been two weeks and I still think back fondly at the very first reply to this thread and crack up...
