- Up for another one at 11pm?
goodnight!
, yes! great job and thanks for joining too ! My fingers are sore again. I need to go find my MSM/glucosamine pills for happy healthy joints XD
I also rewarded myself (before this sprint) with some Oreos, so I think you should all give yourself a reward too!
Thanks for inviting! Goodnight!! I hope your fingers feel better!
I'll do one more at 11! I've got to get ahead by a couple hundred more tonight!
Maybe, if it's a fairly short one? I've got to get myself to bed soon, too, but a little padding in case tomorrow is harder to eke out that writing time in wouldn't hurt, haha.
Nice! Thanks for doing that with me! I'm so happy to be up and over my goal for the day!
Now I'm on a roll, I think I have to keep going for a little while hahaha
- Go go! my laptop decided that it didn't want to be on anymore, so now I had to wait for it to reboot. Thankfully I'm doing all my writing on google drive so it won't get lost :(
Oh no!! I wondered where you went! I'm glad you didn't lose any progress though! I'm all done writing for the night, I'm going to be heading to bed soon. You should try the personal sprint option! There's something very motivating about having a timer ticking away while you work haha
- Yeah, I need to make some personal goals, and stick with them. I'm far too easily distracted
I couldn't make it for a war tonight, perhaps tomorrow? I had an emergency here at Healer's Hall, one of my clients had an injury which required me to set a bone and take up stitches. She'll be OK. I'm just going to write some more tonight to calm down. Also, I'm going to watch election returns on my iPad, there were some interesting races that affected all of us here in Glen Meadow.
: Spirits and donuts? Wow, that's my kind of reward. I'm fond of gingersnaps and whiskey myself...you dunk the biscuit in the whiskey and let it soak in a bit...mmm! Youtube videos are too distracting to me, I get lost for hours.
: A bottle of wine? Wow, you folk know how to treat yourselves! Maybe I can get my Welly to take me down to Poppy's for a pint of Famous Wheezle Brew when I reach 20,000 words.
: I like the idea of chocolate. Perhaps you use those small bite-sized ones that are individually wrapped, like left-over TOT candy. Every 500 words you get one little one. My Author's mother used to give him one M&M for each math problem he did in grade school, one at a time. Rewards are natures way of circumventing lack of self-control.
What is your story about? Are you willing to share your plot and some details?
Let me go first, here's my 15-second elevator pitch:

In 1962, Sabine Redfern was the last and smallest born of her litter. She was so small that she was not expected to live, but after twenty-four hours, she demonstrated a fighting spirit and was given her name.
As Sabine matured, it became apparent that Sabine could not speak, no words formed in her mouth, no vocalizations heard in her throat. Yet, Sabine could communicate her needs through gestures and body language. At first, her siblings interpreted, but soon, her parents and others who knew her learned to interpret her language. It was almost as if she could speak to them on another plane.
Sabine grows up and learns to be a bell maker, eventually becoming the Bell Master who casts all the bells needed to make a carillon. Her masterpiece, the Giant Iron Bell, was used only once, to warn the creatures and humans of the town of Glen Meadow of an approaching firestorm. Her bell saves many lives.
It's hard! I've struggled with setting and making my own goals my whole life. I'm only just started figuring out how to trick myself into doing things hahaha
Yikes! That sounds intense! I'm glad they're going to be okay! I too am easily lured into videos haha but sometimes a chill twitch stream works, because I can mute it and focus for a while and not miss much.
I don't have a good synopsis for my story yet!!!
I'm working on a book that deals with fighting the stigmas associated with Mental Health Disorders and Sexaul/Gender Identity while also telling my life story How I was diagnosed in 2012 with a mental health disorder called Schizoaffective Disorder. Which is basically schizophrenia with a mood/personality disorder as well. Which goes from 2012 to now on my personal recovery process. Which deals with stigmas, sexual harassment at the work place, etc and oh oh so much more.

Yes! I'll be online for a few hours, at least until 11, we can get a few in!
That sounds really really hard, but I'm glad that you are able to and want to tell your story! Good luck with it!
Planning a 25min sprint at 9:30pm! Join here: https://nanowrimo.org/gws/y1BB0qUh3GrrTaBPm9Gorg
Saw you were doing one now, but I'm not that prepared xD
Sounds good to me! Lets do it!!!
Awesome! Going to kick some story butt :D
Haha, yeah. I've been using the group sprint thing to set timers for myself that match up to what the NaNoWordSprints twitter is doing every now and then. xD
916!
Haha that's great! They should make their own generic nano account so people can join the ones they host. I'd love to follow you if you use twitter a lot :D I'm "graphical" on twitter.
Nearly missed out but squeaked out a tiny bit over 1k. 1.5 away from 20k!
Ack, I'm at a bit of a dry point. I'm struggling with over explaining vs under explaining haha I've just got to get through this section and then I'll be moving quickly again! Let me know when you guys are doing the next one! I'll keep joining you for a while!
