, totally! I'm probably not going to get much done today as I'm going out after work tonight too. Hopefully this Saturday rocks our socks

Day two and I'm 6400 words in. It looks good but I know what I'm like... I usually end up raking in the words in the beginning... Once I hit 10k I will start to struggle to get to my daily word count. :|

Also, I've decided my current WIP is going to be part two of a three part series... I spent two months prepping for NaNo and never thought about a series... I'm kind of excited to see where it ends up, but nervous to be starting in the middle! :)

- Sounds good! Splitting into parts is good, especially for Nano, since 50k words is a lot.... but in terms of a paperback book is only like 90 pages.

I'll keep that in mind! Might have to ping y'all when I start posting it, though that will probably be May at the soonest. I'm planning to shelve it after NaNo so I can do it as a Revision/Rewrite project for Camp NaNo in April with fresh eyes.

And no worries, I'm not one for romance so it's not a shipfic at all. ❤ It's about Celestia trying to emotionally cope / recover after being forced to banish Luna, and dealing with the effects the new magical imbalance / discharge from their conflict has on the Everfree. Sort of a 'you feel like crap, but the world has no intention of giving you a break' scenario. xD

Starting already late to the game but I decided to at least attempt Nanowrimo this year. I feel like it I ever want to be a writer I should you know actually write something.

Glad to find more people participating! I've been doing NaNo for several years in a row now, and this year is no different! However, I shot myself in the foot by not planning enough in advance and I ... may need to completely start over with a brand new story idea? We'll see, haha, but either way I'm struggling I hope everyone else is doing better than I am right now, and to those who aren't, I believe in you and wish you luck!! :D

Somewhat, yes! Though of course there's the political / environmental crisis to overlap with those elements and some phoenix shenanigans which is where the title 'Rise Again' per my NaNo profile comes from. :) I hadn't really thought about it, but that'd probably be a good song to listen to if I'm feeling blocked up and need a good kick in the muse, haha.

Welp, the rate I'm going I'm going to have to write 10k words on tuesday. Forgot I have a party to go to tonight, and tomorrow I have to be at church, then a concert, then dinner with the fam, monday it's back to work and orchestra rehearsal in the evening. I dunno when I'll have time to sit down and really write until tuesday night. Adulting sucks. It was so much easier to find time to do Nano in university OTL.

Did you start your book yet? You should at least set your novel up! Unless I'm dense and just don't remember what your username is? :D Squeeze in a few words when you can!
