Ohhh I wasn't even up writing. If I had been, I'd be in much better shape. I was out square dancing, and then went to an arcade, and then I was just up chatting haha It was a good night, but definitely not a productive one!

You all are doing so well with all the sprints! Great job.

- You gotta let yourself have fun sometimes though! You still have time to make it up! If I came from almost 10k behind, you can get back in it from 5k behind!

I'm close to finishing the story! Hurray :)

- That's the REAL win, I am SUPER not close. Like I might make it to the end of the first major plot point in 50k, but not the second or third, and I'm still basically writing in point form on this!

I've been told by one reader that I need to expand it if I want it to be a real novel, but I got a whole '3 act' plot done and I'm pretty pleased with the fact that I was able to get the conclusion just at the end of 50k words.

Here's the novel summary/excerpt I put on:

- Yeah, 50k is only like a 100 page paperback, I'm used to reading books in the 400-500 page range, probably part of why I end up only like 1/4 the way through a story at 50k all the time!

Oh shoot, where did my break go! Time to get back to it! Still need 1.5 k to be caught up tonight!

there's a lot of room to expand the story... a lot of characters who I didn't tell their part of things. And I could probably make the action more exciting (I mean, the action needs to be more exciting, I'm just not sure I'm a person who is capable of achieving that effect).

I could probably stretch it to 200 pages. More than that and it'd need a whole new subplot or something. Which I could also do (I wrote a 7k ish story in 2003ish, that some of the characters came from, and I could redo that section a little longer to add 10-15k, and doing that might give me new ideas for more parts, and etc. Or I can cut some of the extra parts that aren't needed that I just wrote to put more words down and make it a novella length thing. I dunno. I'm just happy I got this far.

- That's good! 200 is a pretty good length. And you should try to write those action scenes! Think about some movies or anime etc that would have they type of action you want and then watch them, then try to write the action scenes as if you were describing them to a blind person... or something. I dunno. You'll never know unless you try, right?

Oh no, I missed the sprints, I was out playing Pokemon Go! lol. Needed the excercise. Today has not been a productive day. I'm not even at a stuck point in the story (although, a lot of the stuff I wrote yesterday is crap, so may that's why) but I'm not feeling very write-y today.
