Nice job!
I'm not behind anymore, at least, so that makes me happy :)

oh congrats! You caught all the way up!
Just hit my 40k badge, so psyched!!

Blah, I was supposed to catch up tonight and instead I spent 2 hours preparing food. Gotta eat though, and gotta eat good food at least a few times during nano! Cooking always takes more time that expected. I'm super tired, I guess I won't be catching up, but I'm going to try to keep myself from getting too far behind again, keep it to a 2k deficit instead of a 8k one.
you can do it! And feeding yourself well will help :D
OOF.
I had intended on participating this year and even attend a local meet up but having two darn group projects ruined it for me. :(
Hope you guys make your goals though!
- Boo. Other commitments during Naowrimo suck :P
- Nothing stoping you from writing anyway, no rule that says you can ONLY write in november!

I've gotten ahead a little but if I slack off it'll vanish faster than I can blink. So back to writing.... somehow it's even harder just near the end!
we have exactly the same count ATM xD 41903. I feel like I'm turning my story into a disjointed but semi interesting mess to finish
mine has been one of those the entire length of it :D
I truly hope anyway... that it's semi-interesting!
Anyone around for a ? :)
: I went to the link, it said that the war was already over and I was a little bummed. But, I drank some coffee, got het up and had my own little war. I knocked out about 4000 words and finished. So, I really owe you for inspiring me to write today and for finishing a little early. Thanks!
I really wanted to be so much more active on this forum than I ended up being. But IRL happened, the fires certainly impacted my life in ways it shouldn't have. (We don't live anywhere near where they were, but we had very close friends in both fires that lost everything). Extremely frail and needy elderly parents, illness, adult children in crisis, have all vied for my attention. And yet, there is writing. If I didn't make time for writing, IRL would consume me and I would be a shell of a person, void of any vitality or imagination.
So, even though I couldn't play war with you all, I did manage to carve out an hour each day (either before anybody got up, or long after everybody went to bed...) I managed to eke out my 50,000 words.
If I can, little weasel-girl that I am, you can do it too. C'mon five more days!
YAY!!Congratulations !!
I'm really getting close!

Writing the climactic scene and everything.... it's all downhill after I finish this scene. And then I hit 50k :D
