At least now I can be sure which unlockable challengers I still need that I can get, and which ones are retired and all that.
Wow it must've been fun battling them, though!
I have my own guide here. It's still not completely updated, but I'm working on it ;)
Careaper can only be fought on the 13th of any given month, and will appear on the Normal/default tab in the Battle Coliseum; whenever Friday the 13th happens, that guy will have it's difficulty increased for that day.
- yes. I hadn't noticed that guide before you asked, but I really like it's format so I bookmarked it to use myself.
Oh wow, that's a pretty impressive guide! :o
I knew that about Careaper, I just wasn't sure if there were any other challengers like that. I don't even know if I'm strong enough to beat him yet, plus I always forget to look and see when it is the 13th. ;~;
It is pretty helpful for quick checking even if it's not 100% complete. Seems like they have some of the newer challengers listed though, like 2016 and 2017 challengers are listed even though they're not at the bottom with the other yearly challenger releases.
Thanks! It's an ongoing project of mine :) I haven't read about another challenger that works like Careaper.... there's a ping group # careaper... and well I put an alert on my phone as well LOL
Maybe I'll remember to check eventually. Apparently I already have the Careaper beanbag prize in my collection, I must have bought it without realizing.
At least I still have more training to do and other opponents to work on for now.
- exactly! At least one of the retired challengers has come back as a TBT challenger recently (M4-L155) and, of course, the Raging Storm Sylph is around currently. :-) But, even though it's not 100% accurate, it seems to be close enough to be very useful for our purposes.
- it's time again. Battle Quests! :-)
Kbbob2 reporting for duty.
You Won!
You have defeated Prakherash 9 times! You earned 15067 sP for beating Prakherash! Kuuipo earned 7650 EXP Points!
OMG. Would not go quickly. One more then I'm done.

Battle Quests done for today. Another good day, completed Level 21 (got Moradon and then Cursed Effigy the Tormented).
- good morning kbbob2 :-) Congratulations on defeating Prakherash. Good luck getting that last win quickly.
- your turn again. :-)
- don't feel too bad about not remembering Careaper - I've even seen forgetting to ping the Careaper ping group until someone reminded him of the date. It's hard to remember something that happens once a month like that. :-)
That's all for me for now. Good night and good luck in the Battle Coliseum.
You Won! You have defeated Raging Storm Sylph 1 time! Raging Storm Sylph drops: You earned 25000 sP for beating Raging Storm Sylph! Oranos earned 2713 EXP Points! insert maniacal laughter went into taking this serious mode and finally managed a win during lunch.
Silvy- it's possible he does. I just don't pay attention to him anymore. You can check out ultimatefriend352.tumblr.com for most challengers.
Arixen - sometimes battling is just a lot of trial and error. Thank you!
Lol ok if you find something good let me know. I might just boost the crap out of someone's intel and invest in scrolls. Prodigy can be a real pain in the ass with his speed and crit hits. Sometimes he'll crit hit 4 times in a row, other times it's once or twice per battle.
- I knew you would do it! Huge congratulations! You, are amazing!
Honestly, crawbeast still challenges me! I don;t have any of the right weapons to defend sucessfully against him so I just chain freeze haha ^_^
Yeah, now that I'm actually keeping up with the monthly cash shop challengers, it's easier to keep track. I've unlocked almost all of the other challengers, except for like Forj and Meatslab and most of the research note challengers. But I have all of those items on my WL so I know which ones I need and can get them when I get around to it. Even if I can't beat all of them yet. :P
Congrats on the battling! :) As for the big blue ball of frustration, now you know why he has that nickname... ;) Seriously, he is one foe where having a decent sp stat really pays off. I don't get critted by him -- I crit the beejeebers outta him! 👍
EDIT:
OOPS! I always do that. Sorry guys...
Thanks sweetie. He must be raiding a gym. Lol.
and Crawbeast is still my least favorite challenger.

Prak is the worst, all that health to grind through T-T Congrats on being done with him!
Thank you! I think I am only going for the one win on that guy but we'll see. Going to go back to focuings on beating other guys with Verdugo
Thank you! Yeah he's pretty bad, although not as bad as the mage. The mage is like the ultimate frustrating opponent. He also has really high speed, steals, has that stupid tome that's an insta-kill and has that stupid tome that heals him for all his health. That's why he has the nickname dick bear -.-' I still need 5 wins on him.
I've got the 10 on the mage, I didn't think he was THAT bad. I still have to get the last 5 on Cinthilocks and I'm not likely to even attempt the troll or getting 10 on the paras before the reset. I keep forgetting to get the last one on the castle too... lol My point is that when you FINALLY beat your nemesis, along comes another one... ;)
Morning! ^_^
I think it's fun when a challenger is... well challenging! It makes you think, remember weapon sets, strategies, and even then, you never know what will happen! :P Then the time will come when they're so easy [or easier] that it's not just the same :P
I remember when I struggled BADLY to take out Hustler... he was my favorite! Now I can easily beat him in a few turns, but he keeps it interesting because of the 60+ weapons he has in his bag lol
I couldn't say... Crawbeast beats me to a pulp :P
reset? do you know when there will be a reset?
I couldn't stay awake last night... I'm about to BQ now ^_^
If all fails, I'll have a reminder for Carereaper on my phone
Also, I have to say that changing the format on my BQ/training/EXP logs mid-month wasn't the best idea ever.... HOW did that take me three hours to accomplish?
