I beat him twice with Oranos hehe =p That sylph is no joke. He gives T10 and even T11 pets without the right equipment a hard time. I definitely think adding more intel will help in the long wrong. Scrolls are usually cheaper than weapons, even the OPB ones so any defense you are lacking can be made up for with scrolls.

- interesting that you were able to get so many critical hits with Archi even when he was so outmatched in speed. Certainly seems like it would make speed much less important - especially for higher tier pets.

I feel like such a dope needing to ask but how do I attribute a set to a specific pet rather than having it as a default set?

You can't. You just have to switch to that set & make it your default set while you battle with that pet. Then you can switch back to your regular default set when you're done.

Right now we can't attribute a set to a specific pet. On default setting every pet will enter a battle with the default set, and if you want to change to a different set you need to manually select that specific set from the weapon list. If you don't want to do that every time the only way around this is to set that weapon set as default temporarily so you don't have to do the extra clickings.

At least now I know I'm not missing something. I was sitting here thinking I was missing something or was failing to understand the way things work.

Its a little difficult to follow your test results without the full stats. I also usually find it easier to test things in the extremes rather than looking for correlations in opponents.

Purge has posted that speed is the on/off and the some type of comparrison of STR to DEF is the rate.

The controversy of does speed help at all really comes down to: Do turning off crit hits help you win battles, and does activating crit hits for yourself help win battles.

My arguements have always been that turning them off at the speeds opponents actually have is worthless. It could be potentially useful if several opponents speeds were dropped y 25-75%. The boosting your own damage arguement has come up more recently, and its kinda hard to say. It seems more like a luxury than something that will win you more battles.

That feeling when you chain freeze crawbeast for the entire battle :D
